Had such a wonderful experience staying here! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and our room was stylish and spacious. Would love to return for another stay.

What a delightful little hotel! We booked one night at the Hotel de Tourny for an all-too-brief visit to Bordeaux last weekend. It wasn’t especially cheap, but it was worth every penny, not least because the hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to the riverfront and most of the sights, but with convenient discounted parking within five minutes’ walk. The room was compact, but not claustrophobic and very quiet, the bed super-comfortable. The curtains blacked out the daylight in the morning, which isn’t something you always find with hotels, even in this price range. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed and the shower hot and powerful, though being a combination shower/bath, a tad hard to step into. The only real criticism of the room was the lack of English tea with the supplied kettle… and the inevitable sachets of instant coffee. Can’t stand the stuff! We opted to pay for breakfast and found it to be excellent, offering a fine selection of pastries and bread, with cold meats and cheeses and very good coffee. The small, but unfailingly polite and helpful staff deserve a special mention. Their English was excellent. Our bags were taken up to the room for us and they could not do enough to make our stay really special, recommending a choice of restaurants, from which we chose the marvellous Brasserie Bordeliase. All in all, a fantastic stay in a hotel that was hard to fault. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderfull stay at Hotel de Tourny. The location is great and the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Going to Bordeaux? just book your stay at this hotel, no regret.

We could not have been happier with the service we received at Hotel de Tourny. The staff from Paul, Florelle and Vincent were all super helpful and accommodating before and after we arrived. They made great recommendations prior to arriving for excellent places to eat. All the restaurants we enjoyed were within walking distance. I spilled coffee on a pair of trousers and they arranged to have them cleaned. Their location is in the heart of the downtown/old city neighborhood. They helped us secure a wonderful driver for two days to visit great vineyards, and reserved taxis when needed. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. Great coffee. Honestly, They could not have been more charming or helpful. We also really liked our room, bright and clean. It was just right for the three days we stayed. If you like boutique hotels, this is the place for you.

Firstly, the owner needs to know that their staff at Hotel de Tourny are amazing people! Secondly, potential guests need to know that the staff are amazing, and this transforms the experience! Front desk staff also perform concierge duties, and have great recommendations for local restaurants, wine tours, etc. Note the rooms are small, but this will only be an issue if you have multiple, large suitcases. Note I said multiple suitcases. My wife and I fit very comfortably in our room: she had a large suitcase, I had a carry on size suitcase. Interior of hotel is freshly remodeled, bedrooms are nicely decorated, bathrooms are a good size — no tight squeeze, bed was comfortable, and rooms have air conditioning. Great for recuperating from the summer heat. Breakfast is continental style, completely sufficient, and will not ruin your appetite for the amazing food that awaits you in the city of Bordeaux.

Our stay here was worth every penny. The hotel is beautiful and well located. The best part of our stay though was definitely the staff, helping us to experience the best of Bordeaux by diligenently recommending and booking restaurants and activities we wanted. They were super helpful and friendly and is the reason why I would choose to stay here again.

Good location but difficult access due to construction in most of the area. Finding the hotel is not easy : no big signs and only a small door. Parking provided is excellent (little to no on street parking) but within a 5 min. Walk. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern, on the small side and lighting is not adequate.

I would never stay at any other hotel in Bordeaux, France! This little gem with its two adjacent venues is quiet, beautiful, and very comfortable. I would go back again and again.

Fantastic Boutique Luxury Hotel! My wife and I stayed at the Hotel de Tourny for two nights during our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Bordeaux. We split our stay among several hotels, but this was our favorite! The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke fluently English… Rare in France! We were located on the first floor and having a balcony was a great feature that we did not have at other hotels, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the morning and evenings. The hotel is very conveniently located — near the center of the city. We walked to the river, the historic center — and there are some excellent restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

It's our second time staying within 9 months. The second time is just as good as the first time if it's not even better. Hotel is perfectly located, small but sweet, room is nicely decorated but most importantly, the best thing about this hotel is the helpful staffs, every single one of them was friendly, helpful, speak fluent English. This hotel should be very proud to find such amazing staffs, I assumed the great training must be part of the reasons too. I look forward to coming back and I will certainly recommend this gem to any of my friends who will be going to Bordeaux in the future.

I can honestly say that I do not often take the time to provide feedback but given the service provided by Hotel de Tourny I feel obliged to help other travelers make the right choice. Hotel de Tourny simply best hotel I have stayed in for a long while. The service is excellent and Anael was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Room was exceptionally well presented clean as well equipped. Breakfast was great and parking very easy. Will definitely book Hotel Tourny again when next in Bordeaux.

We spent two nights at this property last January.
The staff are lovely and very available.
But it is unfortunate that there is no heating in the bathrooms and hallways.
It seems that some rooms are equipped with towel dryer with heating function, which was not the case of ours yet a room of category above €197 at night (without the breakfast). I think we need to take a suite at €300 at night to benefit from this equipment and not be cold when you get out of the shower.
I was all the more surprised by the fact that even in the hotels of tourism 1 and 2, there is heating in the bathrooms…

Excellent address! Very good location in a friendly neighborhood, quiet, 5 minutes walk to the town centre and near plenty of restaurants. The hospitality and the comfort are impeccable. Attentive staff and available. I will come back with great pleasure!

Excellent hotel! warm welcome and pro service, quality, cleanliness, sophisticated design of the hotel in details. The beautiful stone bordeaux is a wedding tastefully with contemporary decor. Central location, everything is within walking distance. A real nice discovery, to recommend.

To expensive for the quality it offers. Staff not well prepared to answer to simple questions: free parking areas, facilities of the hotels.

Friendliest and most helpful front desk staff we have experienced this trip (7 weeks). Yes the rooms are small but, Hey! It is Bordeaux and I must say the arrangement of all the furniture etc. Within the room is very skillfull. Everything fits. The hotel is also very well located.

This hotel is close to restaurants, transit lines, and shopping districts. I like the intimate feel of this 12-room hotel, and I loved the price of €110 euro a a night! The room is small, but well designed, so you don't feel too cramped. The bed is very comfortable, as are the pillows. As a solo traveler, it's perfect for me. Having just left Paris, I appreciated this hotel had two things I missed in my week there: air conditioning in the room and an elevator. I would stay here again!

Very nice small hotel in the city centre. Easy access, 5min walk from the city centre. Room decorated with taste, design and simplicity. Dedicated staff and very caring for the customers. Advice gourmet were notified and allowed me to spend very good moments. Just the breakfast could be a little more result and offer a bit more choice. Otherwise it is perfect! Bravo.
