I went there to follow a meditation retreat for 3 days. The setting is very pleasant, clean and maintained, and the rooms are quite satisfactory with shower and toilet in each room.

Spotless room, nice bed. It's an excellent gîte where it's good to stop after Futuroscope… or just for a moment of relaxation. It is located in a small town which does not lack charm.

Good b&b. Welcoming and friendly arrival experience.
The room and bathroom are spacious, bright and comfortable.
The breakfast is good and served in a cozy room.

Wether you are visiting Futurescope or the surrounding area or as an overnight travelling down to the South of France or beyond, you will not be disappointed with a stay at Le Maison de Martha.

Absolutely brilliant. One of the best hotels we have used. The main building is a converted church, with bedromms in a modern wing. If rich, some bedrooms are in the chapel loft! Totally clean.

Gold status ALL upgrade to an exceptional duplex room under the old roof and arches of the original church. The design is wonderful, the bed upstairs very comfortable.

Great hotel. Rooms much bigger than the French average, with comfortable beds, good bedding, and a friendly staff. The standard rooms were just fine, and they had a really nice bathtub for soaking.

Great experience at an affordable price. The host is very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are extra sized and you will feel like royalty watching the garden from your castle tower.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Fourth time staying here and always great value for money. Friendly, helpful staff, good rooms and excellent menu. It was nice to taste a couple of recommended wines before buying. Great service.

Situated right in the centre of Poitiers with parking, this hotel has recently been beautifully renovated. Our room on the top floor was quiet, large, tastefully decorated and extremely clean.

Driving south to visit friends, broke the journey with a one night stay in Poitiers. Hugely convenient central hotel, with its own very useful underground car park next door.

Absolute gem on our long journey with our 2 dogs. Lovely welcome from Paul and his team. Super dinner, and sufficient breakfast before setting off again. Quirky and charming. We will be back.

Problem booking in but very helpful man on the phone sorted in no time. Very basic room but clean and tidy. Fresh towels clean sheets and soap in the bathroom.

Absolutely lovely staff who were very helpful. Great location for walking into town and using the buses/trains. Busy road so a tad noisy but can’t fault it otherwise!
