The Square View

Great location and very helpful staff, perfect if you‘re staying a few days in cairo. The rooms are nice with comfortable matrasses. Those rooms facing the square are noisy due to the traffic, its in the middle of town after all. But given the value for money I suggest to bring your earplugs and you‘ll enjoy your stay 100%

All of the staffs are very friendly especially Muhammad & Hussam. They are very polite accomodating & help us a lot during our 4 nights stay there. The room is clean & worth the money you pay for. The location is superb with lots of restaurants & shops within minutes of walking distance. Tahrir Square & Nile River Walkway also not far from the hotel.

Upon arrival they told us the plumbing of our room was not in order, so they needed to relocate us to their sister hotel, new view hotel cairo.
They wanted to charge us the same price, for that hotel. But that is not a boutique hotel and has no nice view at all. And it was cheaper on booking. Com than the boutique hotel.
It was very inconvenient, because we now had no time between tours to rest. They gave us no sincere apologies.
In the end it turned out that they just cancelled our reservation at booking. Com. So now it costs us points to make it to the next genius-level. Dushonest from the staff.

Terrible. We arrived at the square boutique hotel and they told us that their hotel was full booked, but that they would have a room for us at their second new branch and that it would be much nicer there. Really dishonest people, because I checked afterwards in other comments and they do this frequently.
As we arrived in the other place, they brought us to the room, without windows and the bathroom was smelling really bad. Instead of an king size bed we received two beds. When we said we were not ok with this, they answered asking with a smile it would be just for one nigt, right?
I am confused with the positive recommendation about this place.

My stay at this hotel was simply excellent! The welcome was warm, with attentive and always smiling staff. The rooms are comfortable, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was perfect, just what you need, and served with a big smile. A special mention to the tour guide, Mr. Achour, whose expertise is impressive. His way of telling the history of Egypt was just exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had such a lovely stay at the Square Boutique Hotel. All of the staff were extremely kind, accommodating, and made us feel so welcome! The rooms were very clean, nice view of the city, and the breakfast was great. The staff were happy to look after our bags on the days we checked in and out while we explored the city. Noura and Esra (hopefully I got the names right! ) were especially fantastic. I would stay at this hotel again just to meet them! Also, as a young female traveller, I felt very safe at the Square Boutique Hotel and in general the area. I would recommend this place to any traveller looking for affordable accommodation in Cairo.

I think this location is great for japanese people.
The staff are so friendly & accommodating.
Check in is 2pm but they let you leave the bag at the desk.
The location is hard to find but just look for the Tulip Hotel & go to the 4th floor.
Located conveniently close to the metro in downtown cairo.
Because it is downtown Cairo, expect some noise outside — the hotel cannot control this obviously.
The room is spacious, beds are comfortable and the AC functions well.
Breakfasts are always so yummy & you feel very taken care of.

Midde of the squere, very noisy, near the cairo museum, basic breackfaat, helpfull staf, old furnuture, one morning the no water on wc, and very tiny wc. No balcony room just window.

Hotel is on 4th floor of Tulip hotel building with lift. Safe location, few minutes walk from Egyptian museum and Nile, 2 minutes from metro station (easy and safe to use), 25 minutes walk to Cairo Tower.
The most quiet is room 32, then 33, then 31.
Staff is super nice, helpful, always with a smile, especially reception girl who calmly deals even with shouting customers (Arabic customer booked standard room without balcony and with shouting demanded room with balcony) and Nour who prepares fresh yummy breakfast. Some guests complain breakfast is same every day, but this is budget hotel and considering that you get here great value for your money.
Everything in hotel was cleaned daily and sprayed to smell like flower garden. Beds are big and comfy with quality bedding. Rooms have small-ish bathroom but clean.
So guests complain staff here doesn't have perfect English, but trust me they have better English than in many places and mainly they always try to understand and help. For anything more complicated use Google translate 😉

Pretty good for the price, clean, new rooms. Some rooms have balconies viewing the square and some don't but it is not entirely a bad thing. The only inconvenience is that all the rooms are king-size beds, no roomes with single beds.

Fantastic staff and service, really friendly and accomodating to every request, Nora (I think was her name) was especially good, bringing juice or tea and coffee to the room after we had returned from a big day. They organised a pickup and drop off to and from the airport, also organised a guide and driver for the pyramids. Only downside was very small bathrooms but all in all great place.

I’ve had the most amazing experience here. My room was very comfortable, and the staff made me feel like family. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the balcony was stunning. They’re also very helpful in booking tours with cars and guides and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you so much to the staff for helping me enjoy my trip!

Everything is great. The location is a bit confusing as Google maps shows somewhere else and there aren’t any boards with the name. However the view is amazing and justifies the name. The elevator is a pain but the people are like the balm. The bathroom is very very small and if one is a bit healthy the entrance might be barred. The breakfast is a mix of fresh bread and falafel with processed juices and coffee. If they switch to fresh fruits or fresh juices it’ll deserve a higher rating. The air conditioning was crisp and hence full marks for that. Overall pleasant stay for 35 usd.
