Kato Dool is just amazing. They made our stay incredibly amazing. We loved the hospitality and service. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and full of Nubian spirit. Nubian people are so kind and fun. Will definitely be our destination again. Thank you Kato Dool ❤️😍

Had a great time (and Bedouin lunch) here! Recommendable if you’re looking for a quite spot to relax in the Nubian Village while enjoying a fresh lemonade and views over the Nile river. Lovely painted in Nubian colorful motives. Dishes all presented nicely and large portions. A bit overpriced according to Egyptian standards but still worth the visit! Excellent spot for photos as well!

Worst experience ever. Prices are more triple than normal however the service is extremely bad. I don't recommend to anyone. Walk for 2 minutes and you will find better places and better staff…

Worst experience ever. So disappointing I dont recommend this place for anyone. Food is tasteless. Service is very bad. People are not helpful.

Thé team is welcoming ans smiling propose destinations ans activities with a competitive price, and try to help for every thing you could ask.
The room are confortable and the vew on the Nil is just fantastic. Far from the noise of assouan.

I was worry about staying in Nubian house but after my first experience in Kato Dool I highly recommend it, great place very clean and gorgeous view on the Nile, very friendly people and delicious food, keep it up sure I’ll visit you again.

Night seating by the nile with great drinks and shisha service.
The food menu is perfect and well done. In fact the best meals in whole Aswan I had them at kato Dool.
Very friendly and welcoming staff who had the vission of making my stay very joyful and they helped in planning my visits all around Aswan.

Not totally authentic. A commercial presentation alleged to be authentic. Yes the family (s) live there but they all are involved in giving tourists a stress free view of a family compound.

The place is really nice. The owner Mr. Hakim is who u should look for… Bad things. Amr the manager and his assistant Sarah tried to ask for very high price for the room (extremely expensive on booking 1800 per night) while in location is 900 egp for the night. They wanted to charge the booking price although we canceled through booking. We had lunch at the place and chicken was frozen inside hence not fresh at all. We complained and they told us not to pay for all of it (nice of them). Good things,. The Nile view room… we had room number one was really nice very clean, cozy and comfortable. Design of the ceiling makes echo inside the room. View is limited to a small window but u have a terrace with great view Om Ali a typical Egyptian dessert was great we ordered it at night and tasted so good The owner is so helpful. He is there in the morning only. Ask for his help with anything. He drove us with his speed boat to our next hotel and cut a lot of extra charge in the room pricing when we told him we were not happy with the pricing and the cleanliness of the room on the second day.

Our stay at kattodool exceeded our expectations! The service was amazing… we were lucky enough to meet the owners and their family. Such wonderful and kind people, who ensured our stay was comfortable. The staff working here are amazing too, the breakfast was phenomenal and fresh! The view from the hotel is serene. They also had a traditional Nubian dance after dinner one night which was such an enriching experience. 10/10 we would recommend this place to everyone.
