Hotels in Tungurahua with a Pool

My family and I (21 people total) had an amazing experience at Samari Spa Resort. The location, atmosphere, bedrooms, amenities, food, staff were all top of the notch.

We’ve been coming here for over 15 years, and this place truly is one of a kind. The owner and staff treat you like family and genuinely take care of you and your loved ones.

First time visiting Banos and Ecuador, found this place to be in a great location right across the famous hot springs, and in walkable distance to many touristy places and restaurants in town.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Sangay in Baños, Ecuador, and it was an unforgettable experience.

Stayed here as part of a tour.
Great little hotel in town.
Lovely rooms, hot water and comfy beds.
The breakfast had a great selection of fruits as well as eggs to order if you wanted.

We enjoyed our accommodations at this hotel, it was quiet, beautiful mountain views, great breakfast and great hospitality by Jaqueline, Ivan and son Paulo, they are great people.

This is a beautiful stay inn place. A bit older rooms and bathrooms. Overall, its an affordable stay.

We stayed only one night so didn't get to experience the beautiful pool or hot tub, however we were impressed with the service — the owner got up early and greeted us before we went off birdwatching

It is a quiet and very beautiful place, its pool, sauna, Turkish, hydromassage and its rooms are very clean, the food is super good and the service too.

The on-site restaurant was convenient for meals, and I enjoyed a night in a spacious, comfortable room.

A great little Hostel. Very clean rooms, the pool is perfect for relaxing after an long day walking. Everyone was great, cannot stress enough the friendliness of the staff.

Stayed here in 2010 first time I visited Ecuador. Was my home base for months. Loved this place. Now 2025 and I live in Ecuador. Good memories when I walk by this place.

Excellent choice! I had a great time during my stay, the entire stuff made me feel welcome and cared for!

Had a great stay at this place! The hosts are very welcoming and accomodating. They definitely made our vacation there a time to remember. Thank you so much!

Excellent hotel for this city. Very attentive customer service. Breakfast was amazing with awesome view of the city. Very clean.

Very good service. The rooms are clean and breakfast is on point. The swimming pool is a very relaxing part of this accommodation. The staff took care of our bags and brought them up or down the hill!

Great hotel! We stayed here July 2022, just after the countrywide strike ended. The hotel is just three short blocks from the bus stop (just $5 from Quito).

An excellent place. After the holiday better lol.

Excellent service comfortable cabins.

It sits back from the road in its own private and tranquil little area. Beautiful scenery with the mountains around. Our group of 5 was the only ones there.

We came here for a two night stay and extended to four nights because it was just divine.

Its best letter of introduction the attention is personalized very friendly that interest in the client the clear facilities in excellent conditions super safe very happy with my stay.

Excellent service and great facilities.

We had a great time, as I saw negative comments on facebook they let me into the rooms and see q everything was clean, breakfast good, no complaints.

2 night stay in Baños. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds, delicious authentic breakfast. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Good location very close to city center and thermal baths.

Hotel Spa Miramelindo.
After visiting Pailón del Diablo (Devil’s Cauldron Waterfall) in Baños, our tour group of 16 stopped here for a late lunch, and it was a wonderful experience.

We had our lunch there 🙏after visiting the waterfalls Rio Verde — fantastic food, super friendly service! To be recommended — Ursula & Erich from Switzerland with Martha & Juan from Quito🍀

The place was amazing, pool was super cool, food was good as well, great breakfast.

Good food.
Economic prices.

Definitely one of the best hostel's that I have stayed in South America. The staff are very attentive and take the time to remember everyone’s names which makes the experience better.

Great place a little bit (10 mins by taxi) out of town. They lit a fire and heated up the Jacuzzi every night creating a very welcoming outdoor common area.

Excellent service, place full of peace and has been for our family the best experience. Recommended 👌
