My family and I (21 people total) had an amazing experience at Samari Spa Resort. The location, atmosphere, bedrooms, amenities, food, staff were all top of the notch.

We’ve been coming here for over 15 years, and this place truly is one of a kind. The owner and staff treat you like family and genuinely take care of you and your loved ones.

First time visiting Banos and Ecuador, found this place to be in a great location right across the famous hot springs, and in walkable distance to many touristy places and restaurants in town.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Sangay in Baños, Ecuador, and it was an unforgettable experience.

We enjoyed our accommodations at this hotel, it was quiet, beautiful mountain views, great breakfast and great hospitality by Jaqueline, Ivan and son Paulo, they are great people.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, with beautiful views of the mountains. Hot water showers were great. It was safe and quiet and not far away from the Banos tourist attractions.

It is a quiet and very beautiful place, its pool, sauna, Turkish, hydromassage and its rooms are very clean, the food is super good and the service too.

The on-site restaurant was convenient for meals, and I enjoyed a night in a spacious, comfortable room.

A great little Hostel. Very clean rooms, the pool is perfect for relaxing after an long day walking. Everyone was great, cannot stress enough the friendliness of the staff.

Stayed here in 2010 first time I visited Ecuador. Was my home base for months. Loved this place. Now 2025 and I live in Ecuador. Good memories when I walk by this place.

This is a beautiful stay inn place. A bit older rooms and bathrooms. Overall, its an affordable stay.

We stayed only one night so didn't get to experience the beautiful pool or hot tub, however we were impressed with the service — the owner got up early and greeted us before we went off birdwatching

Great hotel! We stayed here July 2022, just after the countrywide strike ended. The hotel is just three short blocks from the bus stop (just $5 from Quito).

It sits back from the road in its own private and tranquil little area. Beautiful scenery with the mountains around. Our group of 5 was the only ones there.

We came here for a two night stay and extended to four nights because it was just divine.

The place was amazing, pool was super cool, food was good as well, great breakfast.
