Excellent choice.
A very nice boutique hotel in a quiet location. Most ammenities can be reached by foot or by a $2 or 3 taxi ride. Airport Taxi was $25.
The place is VERY clean, everything in perfect working condition and a very friendly n helpful staff.

After weeks in the Galapagos and then the cloud forest, Metropoli Suites was a relief to pull up to in Quito. Our room was on the third floor, and the front desk attendant helped us carry up our bags. He clearly could have lapped us with our lack of altitude acclimatization. We had a vehicle with us, so he opened the gate so we could pull inside. There is very limited parking inside the gate, and the drive is very narrow. Our room was comfortable, and it was reasonably quiet at the hotel. The shower was amazing with plentiful hot water and steady water pressure. There was just the slightest hint of a sewage smell in the bathroom. There was a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was hearty with fruit, croissants, eggs, pancakes, tea, and coffee. It was a bit crowded in the breakfast area, but I think this will just depend on how many guests are staying there at any one time. There was a common area outside of our room with tea, water, and a microwave.

Great value. Friendly service. Rooms are really mini apartments. Plenty of space and amenities. Located near teleferico. Breakfast is barely any extra and worth it. To note look for blue neon sign and ring bell to be let into inner courtyard. We drove around a bit confused. Bottle of water provided and can refill with lobby cooler. Soap but not shampoo.
