Amazing hostel! Modern private room with attached bathroom. Best sauna on the Quilotoa and a really beautiful family run feeling. Our favourite hostel on the hike by far.

Definitely the best option around here, there are woodburners in in the rooms, it's reasonably priced, the beds are comfy but the food is a bit lacking. Non the less it was the best price for what you got.
If you want pampering and have money ro waste goto the black sheep…

Pros:
Very clean, beautiful area and the staff are super nice and work hard to make sure you have the best experiences! Parking is plentiful and the heating was super nice. The bagged lunch was the best one we had of all the places we stayed at on the loop, $3, so cheap!
Cons:
— walls paper thin.
— sauna was sort of dingy.
— meals times get a little hectic when there are many people. Expect to be served things you are allergic to despite telling them your allergies. Please be vigilant and ask everytime you are served.

This hostel is extremely welcoming — the staff make you feel right at home. The price is amazing for what you get, and the rooms are comfy and clean. The food is also really tasty. I highly recommend staying here!

Really nice shared room with huge beds for $15 which includes a large breakfast and dinner. Nice large common areas. Friendly staff. Kinda aggressive dog which barks a lot at night so it was a bit hard to sleep.

Extremely kind and genuine staff! They went out of their way to make us feel taken care of (adjusting dietary accommodations, offering us extra slippers when we only brought hiking boots, preparing sauna and Turkish bath for us). Minus one star because the shower temperature adjustment did not work and fluctuated on its own, badly burning my scalp.

Stayed for 2 nights and is probably the best hostal I have stayed at in a long time, Ecuador or Colombia. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, very clean and super cosy on a cold evening. They lit a wood burner in the evening to heat the area outside the room. The staff were so welcoming and friendly it did not feel like any request was too much. The food was great too. Highly recommend.

Great setting and good facilities. However:
* I got food poisoning, whether from the dinner or from an ice cream I bought in their lobby.
* No staff has made the effort to learn a.
Bit of English to communicate with the many tourists (a majority of the clients from what I could judge) who come from non-spanish speaking countries.
* No bedside lamp in my private room: bright light no adapted to reading, chilling before sleep.

A PERFECT hostel and I do not say that lightly. Wonderful room, extra comfortable, nice big bathroom and shower. Very clean, quite a big complex where you feel at home. Diego and Paty are kind, helpful and generous. Pricing of room SUPER economic, and goods as well : cheese, coca, fruits, lunchbox, they are here to help. Wonderful tips on the region, delicious and generous meals included. This has been a luxury stay on my backpacking trip. Thank you SO MUCH for existing, you guys are GREAAAT!

Very nice place. Location is perfect for all you need to see around. Food was amazing with a lots of vegetable what is rare in Equador. Room where very clean. All you need… if you have a problem ask for the shaman.

Nice hostal on the Quiltoa Loop with two differen saunas, a yoga area and some lovely chill areas. The food was nice as well and you could even book a lunch box which was quite big!

Our stay at Cloud Forest Hostel during the Quilotoa Loop was a great experience after a long day of hiking. It was definitely cold when we arrived, but the amazing staff lit the fireplace in our room, which made all the difference — we warmed up quickly and felt so cozy.
One of the absolute highlights was the sauna and steam bath — such a treat after hiking! We loved being able to relax, warm up, and unwind in such a peaceful mountain setting.
The meals were okay, simple but filling. Overall, a welcoming and relaxing stop on the loop — perfect for recharging before hitting the trail again!

There are many amazing hostels in the area but this one stands out as my favorite along our trip through the area. The rooms are very spacious and clean with more blankets than I could count. The staff is incredibly friendly and considerate. They had a fire going in the rec room with strings up to help dry our clothes. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious and filling. This is the best place to stay before your final leg of the Quilotoa loop. I wish I had more time to tour the cheese factory in the area!

Easy to reach, close to the center of the Village if you need any extra.
It's really nice, really clean and well mantined. Great bed and pillows! Hot shower and good pressure in the clean bathroom of the dorm!
Great common area, warm thanks to the fireplace! You can also hang your clothes and your shoes will dry up quick while you can use the turkish bath or sauna for and extra 3dollars or Just chill on the couches, reading a book, playing with friends or pool, ping pong.
Nice dinner with dessert, free coffee and tea Always available. The staff is great, they help you for the rest of your loop and the breakfast Is absolutely the best!

A very big place, with very tasty food. I wish they had slightly larger portions as hiking left me super hungry but the kitchen was kind enough to give me some more when I asked. The dormitory was very dark and a bit cold, perfect for a night of deep sleep.

We had a wonderful stay here! The staff were lovely and food was delicious. Breakfast was the perfect fuel before a huge day of hiking — fruit bowl with oats/yoghurt, fried egg and pancakes with delicious homemade jams. The bed was extremely comfortable and at night they pop the fireplaces on so it is warm and cozy (and you are also able to dry your clothes from the rain). Free coffee/tea/water was a bonus. The perfect stay and we would have loved to have stayed longer.

We had a fab stay here as part of our Quilatoa loop hike. Beds are super comfy, rooms were very clean, shower was wonderfully hot. The food was fab (especially the cake) and the sauna and steam room were great value especially after a day of hiking. Very friendly staff! 0 complaints, a wonderful stay!
