What a lovely stay! We started in a downstairs room because the room with the sea view was taken. At the end of the day, both rooms are great. AC worked wonders in both rooms.

A very pleasant four night stay at La Quadra. The room was very clean and quiet to sleep.

My wife and I stayed at La Cuadra for 7 nights and absolutely loved it! The owner Jairo and his family were wonderful and made us feel like a part of the family.

Beautiful grounds. However, be warned. There is NO central heat. Make sure the portable heater works so you can heat your room. They provide lovely water bottles that stay warm all night.

This island hotel is a real gem. When checking into our room, I was extremely distressed when I realized the AC was not working (it was in the mid 80's and quite humid outside).

We had a lovely stay here (in 2022) at this boutique resort. The service was too notch without being over the top. Dining poolside was an absolute pleasure with lovely views of the sun and beach.

Rooms are clean and freshened daily but a little sparse.
Staff, breakfast, overall comfort was very nice.

We live in Cotacatchi and Hacienda San Francisco is only 50 minutes away! The rooms are very well appointed and the whole property flows.

Nice, comfortable, quiet modern hostal close to centre in quiet street. Rooms and beds are small but comfortable. Had some hassles with shower but they definitely have hot water and staff are helpful.

They had a good breakfast. The shower was good and had hot water in the sink. But the room was small and the bathroom very small.

My boyfriend and I had an appointment in Ibarra, so we decided to go a day early and stay overnight. Hotel Montecarlo was the perfect place to stay.

Had a 2 nights stay, super friendly host whom also helped us get taxi to airport. Would recommend. 🤗

I absolutely would recommend staying at Mi Playa. Comfortable stay, quiet place with a beautiful view of palm trees, beach and sea. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at Land of the Sun Hotel in Cotacachi during a recent tour with Ecuador Expat Journeys. What a beautiful hotel! Our room was spacious and immaculate, with good lighting for reading.

Large rooms but small bathrooms. Pretty good Wi-Fi and hot water in the rooms. Breakfast is very simple and may not be enough if you eat a large breakfast.

Excellent accommodations. A budget friendly hotel with basic accommodations. We stayed here for three nights.
