Lacking enough service
The hotel itself was beautiful but there was only the receptionist. The same receptionist who greeted us at 11pm served us breakfast in the morning.
They offered to call a cab I said I could call but they insisted that callers arrive fast, it took about 45 minutes.
The breakfast was very good.
I wouldn't stay here again, everything seemed abandoned.

Beautiful architecture, good preservation of the furniture, good location and the view from the terrace to the river Guayas is beautiful.

Bar — Restaurant on the terrace very cosy, with a panoramic view of the Guayas River and with nice décor. The attention is not bad but I think it could improve if all the members were informed correctly in terms of prices and promotions, so they would not confuse the customer giving erroneous information.
The prices are not low and lack a little light, but the place has a lot of potential to be a benchmark of the area.

Beautiful place and very cozy, even to spend a night among friends… cute social events to their only style as it does River Mansion.

Very cozy and elegant. Excellent service, and expensive.

It's a very cool old building, BUT… They don't have a reliable way of opening the front gate, meaning you might spend several minutes waiting to be let in or out of the hotel—not sure what happens if there's a fire; they don't place a very high value on quiet time at night, blasting loud music for bar/restaurant guests until midnight; the hot water in our shower came only in 30 second increments. Aside from the historic building and river views, other hostels or hotels will be a much better experience.
