Cotopaxi Hotels

My husband and I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Golden Rest.

We loved this hotel.

Fantastic place! Very clean and top notch! Staff was very friendly and kind. The rooms were spacious and had a high-level hotel vibes. Recommended for any type of traveler.

Quiet location. Great breakfast.
The room only had view to a small enclosed courtyard.

Highly recommend staying at REEC Latacunga! Our trip to Ecuador was unfortunately quite quick, so we only stayed here one night and wish we could have stayed longer.

Friendly staff and always willing to help, no matter how big or small the problem is, even if they are not able to do it by themselves, they will find a way or somebody to assist.

Excellent service and the food the best.

This is a gorgeous, well maintained piece of history. Every inch is covered with antique furnishings, cozy nooks, a fireplace in every sitting room, and one orange, fat cat (gato gordo naranja).

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. A very unique experience with all the history and having a small church. The room was spacious with a fireplace.

A really good hotel, clean and comfortable, the owners takes care of every details.
The dinner and the breakfast was excellent, good as a restaurant one.
Really recommend!

Great location next to town with all sorts of restaurants and tiendas. Also within a 5 minute walk of the Quilotoa lookout. The staff were great.

This hotel is a lovely oasis in a small town on the edge of the avenue of volcanoes.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Paola was a fantastic host. This is an excellent central point and launching pad for heading into the big mountains. Great value and nice, quaint town.

We had such a wonderful time here — the cute place, the food, the short-cut to the Quilotoa loop trail — it all worked beautifully for us making it a fantastic start to our hike!

The stuffs're friendly and helpful. You can see mountains from the rooftop. (copotaxi, Il linisa norte, corazon…)
Here's information about copotax national park.

Good rooms, good bathrooms. Good kitchen with fridge. Wifi mostly works. Cheap but good. Good pool table to play and room to socialize if you want to under the roof, really cool in night. Recommend.

Wonderful place to stay near Cotopaxi. Great service and the food was great. Being originally from St. Louis, I recommend the St. Louis baby back ribs.

We went to the property for a late lunch and were very impressed with everything we saw.

Highly recommended.
We stayed there for one night.
The price-performance ratio is very good.
Drinking water, tea, and coffee were provided free of charge.

Amazing place! Hosteria Alpaka is run by a lovely woman who was so kind to us during our stay.

I recently stayed in this hotel during a medical brigade. There were a variety of rooms/suites used by our group. I stayed in a room with two double beds that overlooked an interior courtyard.

Nice hotel in the center of Latacunga — friendly and courteous staff and a nice restaurant. Big and clean rooms and a lot of hot water.

Incredible place! Absolutely love the farm, the restaurant, the team, everyone is kind and warm, super helpful.

This wonderful place is a lovely place to rest, recharge as well as to engage in wonderful adventures should one choose to be a little more active.

Absolutely gorgeous hostel, with spacious rooms, HUGE common area, clean and fully-equipped kitchen, great Wi-Fi, hot showers, and nice personnel.

Great hostel, felt like a safe home during my ecuador travels. Super friendly and kind hosts that I really like.

Super grateful to the ladies running the Taita Cristóbal. We arrived after dinner hour and they reheated food for us to eat after the kitchen had already closed.

Beautiful views in a standard hostal with private rooms. Family owned with llamas, rabbits and more mascots.
The Hostal provided all the basic comforts after a tough day of hiking.

This is a beautiful family-owned hostel on the Quilotoa Loop. The owners are very welcoming, the food is hearty and good, the beds are comfortable, the place is very clean and the shower is hot.

I can not recommend this place enough. Gladys and her son Hugo are such wonderful people, always looking after me, making sure I am warm, that my clothes are dry, etc.

We had a great time at Secret Garden Cotopaxi! The entire staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The property is beautiful with flowers, hummingbirds, and an amazing view of Cotopaxi.

Staying at the SG Cotopaxi was a pleasure, but it’s a bit different than a typical hostel stay.

Overall it is a great hostel for the price, but I personally was not too happy about my stay.

The hostel is very quiet, all the services, in the center of the city, close to everything, everything clean. Very good attention, with information.

A fantastic hacienda set within Cotopaxi National Park, offering spacious rooms with incredible views. The food is good, and the staff are warm and welcoming.

Easily one of the best stays by Cotopaxi with comfortable rooms and lovely staff. The food is a bit basic and a meal at the Tambopaxi helps break up the monotony.

Excellent value for money. Lovely courtyards and service very good. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a 5.30 am bus. They got us a taxi and we're on hand to make sure all was well.

Top Hostal, top Location, nice rooms, hot shower and the sweetest lady who gives great advices for the tours and surroundings.

The location is good.
The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately the showers were only warm not hot and only warm when the water pressure is kept low (electrical heater).
