On Friday 18th may we arrived at Paradisus a family group of 35 to 40 Persosnas and the reception of the staff was excellent especially of the lady of the bar of the Loby the more adult, the food and the very good drink, beautiful green areas, all the staff very attentive and helpful especially in the restaurant Vento the waitress Angelina is very friendly. In the restaurant fire the food is exquisite the waiter Eusebio Acosta treated US excellently there are no words to say of that guy and just like the chef Cristian Rivera excellent sushi and basil as well. We loved it.

My husband and I came to The Reserve for our honeymoon and had the best time ever! When we arrived we were assigned our personal assistant/guide Elvis Peralta and he was great. We would have to make reservations at restaurants every night and at times we would be so busy and tipsy on our excursions that we forget, but he would always save the day and book some great restaurants! The all inclusive was THEEE best! We enjoyed some great food, the best cocktails and deserts! Fancy restaurants! And since our gratuity was included we didn’t even need to carry around money. The pools and beach was really nice! Very upscale! And the staff is very friendly and professional. And the place was very safe to my surprise. You will enjoy it here. Give them 4.5/5

Great hotel, the rooms are very nice, spacious and bright.
As far as the restaurant is concerned, there are several restaurants with various kitchens. Both Chinese, Japanese, Italian etc etc The breakfast is in particular very very good.
Everything from fresh fruit to eggs.

I have such mixed feelings. My husband and I had an amazing 5-day stay here for a wedding, and the staff was really responsive and friendly. So friendly that I had a hard time holding them accountable for the bag of jewelry that disappeared from my room… I thought it would show up when I packed everything up, but it never did. In looking back, I suspect it was because I complained that the bathtub had not been cleaned well upon arrival (and it hadn't! ). I'm also upset that I've emailed and called few different parties at Melia/and the resort and have not received a response. I feel violated and could not come back here, but that is not a reflection on the rest of the staff and resort which was beautiful. If you visit, lock up your items. I will revise or remove this review if there is an update.

We just came back from Punta Cana (April 2018). This is our 3rd times in Punta Cana and we always booked 2 different resorts per trip. This time, we stayed at the Secret Royal resort for 3 nights and the Reserve at Paradisus for 3 nights. This is our second time at the Secret Royal resort and it's still a 5-star. We enjoyed our experience at the Reserve, but here are the reasons to why I give it only 3-star. 1. When staying at the Reserve, you also have access to the Paradisus pools and restaurants, but not the other way around because it costs more to stay at the Reserve. Both properties have beautiful pools and lazy rivers, but sadly they are too deep… roughly 4.75 ft deep. My boyfriend is 5'-7" and the water comes to his chin. For anyone who is less than 5'-7", you would not be able to enjoy the pool unless you can really swim. I can swim a little bit, but I need to be able to stand in the pool. They are both kid friendly resorts, but their pools are not ideal. They do have 2 kid pools, but they are tiny. Short adults with no kids would not want to hang out at the kid pools. 2. Food and drinks are not allowed around the pool. I've been to many different resorts and this is the first resort that doesn't allow food and drinks around the pool. 3.

My wife and I have been guests of the resort for the last 5 days. We were introduced to Gustavo Rivera as our concierge and since the very first day we have had excellent service. Anything we needed he was able to provide. He is excellent communicator and always responds quickly to our texts. It is a pleasure having Gustavo as our concierge.

Very good hotel all-inclusive. The attention and the food of the first level.

A perfect place to stay with your family! Their Kids Club is amazing, with a wonderful staff taking care of the kids at all times. My kids didn't want to leave!

This was probably the best place I have ever been to. The staff is so so soooo amazing. You would never have to when on the beach ask for assistance or drinks or any of that, they would always make sure your services were met. If I could give this 6/5, I would for sure do it. Our concierge was wonderful. Everyone, was so friendly, always smiling and saying hello. The cleaning services were so great, the room got cleaned at least 2 times a day and restocked with soda, water and snacks all the time and you were never out. If you needed a extra pillow or blanket, or if you wanted a extra cot (mini bed), they would bring it to you all immediately. Thanks to everyone who made this experience amazing.

Loved this place! Definitely recommend booking the Reserve. The service here is excellent and our entire family thought Suly did an amazing job looking after us. Booking our restaurants providing recommendations and just allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Thank you Suly! We plan to come back.

My surprise birthday trip to The Reserve at Punta Cana was spectacular! I wish there were more stars to give. The suite, food, service and staff were excellent. I can’t wait to go back to visit Punta Cana and when I do, I will be staying here again!

There’s not entertainment at night not even in the day. The food has good taste but they always serve the same plates, not variations. I think it’s too expensive for what they offer.

Now I am in this hotel… With the arrival of the new director the hotel has changed beyond recognition compared to the previous year. Save on Everything!

The Reserve is excellent, especially if you are travelling with children. Gorgeous beach, immaculate grounds, good food, and great service. The only negative is how sprawling the resort is, but that just gives you more room to explore!

One of the hotels nestled within Paradisus Punta Cana, with the shared restaurants, private beach area and services. In relation to previous visits, it has declined the quality of food and treatment in the restaurants of specialties. Amazing Mind in the Mexican Restaurant for a rested tequila they ask for eight dollars. Do Not be stingy, well paid this all inclusive, which then is not so all. Otherwise the hotel outstanding. For this detail and others of the same or similar type, I do not give more qualification.

Love Paradisus Punta Cana, the resort is great but it's the people that make the trip special, from the butlers in the reserve to the bartenders at the pool bar. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and having fun. We go every year with friend on our anniversary!

This resort is very large and the rooms at the Reserve themselves are very large and clean. The service was nice and helpful. I would go back to this resort. The resort is very large and has a lot of restaurants, but unfortunately you have to make reservations your first day for all the restaurants which can be a bummer. The food is good though and seasoned well.

We had a wonderful stay at the end of August. Nothing was too crowded, which seems to be the case at other times. Highly recommend paying for Royal Service here, I wouldn't come back without it.

Great place to stay. Rooms are comfy, employees are exceptionally friendly. Easy to navigate. Beaches and pools are good. Ocean is a little wavey. Food can improve. I stayed at Paradisus Palma Real as well before. Though the same company owns both, food is better at Paradisus Palma Real.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. They treat you like family. I am definitely going back again.

Kids club is excellent for those traveling with kids. Beach is somewhat far if you are staying at the Reserve. Food in buffets is good, but gets repetitive. Staff are very accommodating, but sometimes they have a hard time understanding English. Steak house is very good.

Best resort ever seen I travel a lot in punta cana I can said fanally we found the best we like so so much we become members seen last years the reverse paradius in punta Cana and this hotels you find every alcohol no matter the brand lobster a lot of seafood fried fish coco water around even in the beach you get your drinks and in pool you get service shows are excellent every night a different shows 21 restaurants inside a lot waters sports etc I mention staff are extraordinarily ❤️❤️❤️5/9/2016 to 4/16/2016 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! where to start. This place is a joke. We flew home early because it was so bad. Our neighbor had all their money stolen form their hotel room. We were without hot water for days in our room without any explanation or apology. Eventually after we got home they offered us a 2 nite refund but then CHARGED us for 2 nites. When I brought it to their attention they denied it over and over again, even after I sent them proof that they charged us an extra 2 nites 3 weeks AFTER we departed. The food was so horrible. Worse than frozen costco garbage. Our entire family got sick from the food. It was inedible. And this is just the main points… trust me I could go on about what a sad excuse this is for "luxury" resort… I would not even rate this as a 2 star hotel. And they try to sell you this time share garbage! it was the most horrible vacation experience I have ever had. I wish I could erase it from my memory.

The best club in Punta Cana.

6 of us stayed for a week here, we had a lot of fun because it was six friends together. But the food was horrid, staff was friendly, entertainment was great, pool was awesome, my only complaint about this place is the food… terrible…

We honeymooned here in May. It was so beautiful and relaxing. There was wonderful service all around and just a completely relaxing and worry-free experience. I highly recommend if you are looking for a tropical all inclusive vacation.

Beautiful, amazing service, immaculately clean and upper class. We recently had our honeymoon at the Reserve, which is part of Paradisus in Punta Cana. I would highly recommend the Reserve over the main hotel simply because the rooms are better, the service is better and you still get access to the main hotel, beaches, pools and restaurants. It doesn't work the other way around though. So the Reserve is all the main hotel has to offer plus more! The restaurants are good, but you will need to go to the main resort to go to most of the restaurants, night life, the beach and other activities. That being said, the Reserve has a huge network of swimming pools, 3 bars, 3 or 4 restaurants, a nice workout and spa facility, and is fully all-inclusive. The main hotel is only a 2 minute ride or 10 minute walk from the Reserve. There are golf cart shuttles moving around constantly, all you do is tell them you want to go to the beach or main lobby and they whisk you away. The Reserve is more family friendly than the main hotel, but it wasn't annoying for non-parents. There were plenty of people hanging out without kids. We will return. We loved it and it was an overall amazing experience.
