Beautiful atmosphere! I traveled as a solo passenger and not once did I feel unsafe while at this resort. Every morning we walked the beach and it was nice to be able to travel off the resort and feel comfortable about the decision. The food was great the selection and options were aquiring to every tas0te and nationality. Our butlers Alby and Leo provided top notch service throughout the entire stay.

We just got back and we had a group of 9! We stayed at the adults only and had great food and the staff was very friendly! We will all recommend this place to our friends! We had two awesome butlers Alby and Leo! Anything we needed they had! Till next time.

Beautiful hotel! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good, as were the drinks. The only not great thing was the 24 hour room service, if ordered after 10PM you would either not get your food or only get half of your order.

Staff were very attentive and friendly, room was large and a great view, close proximity to pool, beach and restaurants. Very safe environment for the family. Food exceptional with a large variety of fine dinning restaurants.

Get up early to secure sun bed in the shade, pool by the bar isn't as clean as main pool, food in restaurants is ok the buffet is better, entertainment staff are very enthusiastic but it is on the whole for the Spanish speaking guests, they tell you tipping is not expected by the staff but believe me you get served a lot faster if you flash the cash, overall the hotel and grounds are faultless (apart from the pool bar) the only downside is the price of trips and souvenirs in the gift shop in my opinion they are very expensive.

We have just returned from our 2nd time at the resort, this time we were married on the beach. It was perfect! Your staff were very thoughtful and helpful. The food is always delicious. The bar service was great. The hotel and rooms are always very clean. The amenities cater for everyone, couples, children, family.
Looking forward to returning already.

Just returned from a 7 day vacation stay at Bavaro Suites. It was in celebration of our sons 40th and included a group of 27, ages 2 to 74. Room, food, entertainment and drinks outstanding. Best of all was the friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommended this property.

All the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The butler/ concierge staff, especially Staling and Hansel, were terrific. The waiters and bar staff are very good and attentive, you never go thirsty!

This the best vacation in my life in this hotel resort with my son y brothers family. The food excelente delicious. The service room very very good. The animations very fine. They try you like royal family Wao. The bars uhh excelente. Special. Wendy manuel orlando mariachy big mañana jj all are special they make good time for everyone.

Leaving here tomorrow. We have had an amazing holiday. Everything about the place is fabulous. Rooms food entertainment service at all bars restaurants can’t praise everyone enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is varied and tasty. The kids are great.

We had a girl trip of sisters and grand daughter to bring my mom for her 70th birthday for her first all inclusive experience. Staff were amazing. Room was wonderful. Food was superb. Do to the location had some seaweed on the beach but they do a great job cleaning it up. Chairs by the pool fill up early but there are always plenty of chairs on the beach in the shade.

This place was amazing. The beauty, level of cleanliness, food and hospitality were above and beyond. The locals and employees working very hard to assure your comfort. The all inclusive package was our first time that we did such a thing as a family. It was really wonderful not to have to worry about who pays for what and just eat, drink and relax. The food was delicious especially the fruits are so fresh, juicy and sweet. The same goes for the veggies and as far as the buffet goes you have anything from everything. The restaurants were nice, not crowded organized and perfect service. We enjoyed the Japanese and the Mediterranean restaurants as the food was very good and delicious. The room was a little bit outdated, toilet was kind of wobbly, no control over the A/C temperature, iron had some sort of dirt in it trying to iron a shirt. The fridge is also basic kept the fluid cool but not cold and once again no control over temp. A kettle was provided with various teas and local coffees which were good. The good thing once again unlimited food. The entertainment was cute, nothing exciting. It was very commercial and American instead of showing more local music. It is a very kids oriented place but still there are quite a few adults to have better entertainment as a live band, dancing. Local music etc'. I get much of the music from back home. Overall, I had a really great time, gorgeous place, clean, and the service once again was above and beyond.

Very nice hotel with two-storey bungalows, huge groomed area, which consists of 4 hotels of the Iberostar network. Excellent service, very attentive staff. 5 or 6 A La Carte restaurants, but we mostly were in the fish.
There is also an on-site car rental, and a 10-minute drive away is Macau's stunning wild beach with surf waves. We took a convertible Camaro V8 400 horses per night with breeze and great pleasure traveled the South coast, La Romana, Casa de Campo, Boca Chica, and Macau beach.

Excellent attention of the staff. From the kitchen, waiters, animation, and reception. The service of cleaning of room is excellent. The facility is well-kept and the managers of each public area cone the buffet are excellent. Recommended.

The people working at this hotel literally treated me like family. They always greeted me with hugs and remembered my name! I was so sad to leave. They always kept a table right by the water in the buffet hall for me and my family! Also a special thanks to Andy for accommodating us and helping us get situated for our stay!

I really enjoyed myself. The gym is the best I’ve seen at a resort. I took advantage of the yoga classes several times. Gym equipment is very modern and in great condition. There is even a CrossFit section. Beaches were large, plenty of umbrellas and service was quick. The kids water park was large enough that they would happily play there all day, every day. Food was very good, buffet had plenty of vegetarian options every night. Bread and cheese selection was always 10/10. The coffee shop was a welcome surprise. It’s a fun mental experiment to walk into a coffee shop and anything you can any is free. For the first few days you feel like you are stealing ;) Would definitely go back. Excellent location.

Beautiful and excellent care. The restaurants are very varied and with good food. The barman, James not only prepares excellent cocktails, it is also an excellent host. The same Manuel from the bar to the side of the pool, very entertaining, if you ask as is says "Super Excellent "

Is slightly more luxury than Iberostar Dominicana. With planned booking with Iberostar Dominicana, we were assigned to Iberostar Bávaro. A little unusual with the upscale. We sometimes go to Iberostar Dominicana for a meal. Topp for family with children. There's great water playground next to pool. Tip on the beach: Wifi is great at the beach hut, I noticed that later.

Beautiful hotel complex, partly suites with sea views available (but must be requested at the reception), great entertainment program, nice staff!
But: No civil protection! Been completely helpless in the last hurricane; None could help somehow. Help yourself wat the motto.

A beautiful place to spend a holiday.

Rested family of 3 people in August 2017 7 days (there was an individual tour of 2 hotels), after a flight from Moscow got to the hotel in the beginning of 8pm. Check in was quick and very friendly! We were taken to the room on cart, showed the room. From the road did not remember immediately the Bungalow room, so when went to dinner and badly darkened back it was hard to remember the route, we got lost) ) ) but it is only the first evening, then the winding paths of the hotel oriented perfectly) ) ) The room was Front ocean, right Meters in 60 from the ocean on the first line, very cool! The content inside the room: good furniture and plumbing. The adjoining room connecteded with ours through a locked door, it is visible done so that one could combine 2 rooms for a large company into a single. The noise from the neighbors through the door was not particularly. The food is very tasty, varied, I liked that there are no air conditioning restaurants, only fans-was not very stuffy, but not cold. The beach Arena Gorda is very clean, with bold but not white (rather golden grey) sand, nice entrance to the ocean, there were waves and algae, but swimming is OK. Algae Nabivalo, of course, a lot, but they were quickly cleaned in the afternoon in cars, and at night in trucks with a loader.

Belloooo, excellent attention, beaches with white and delicate sand. The hotel has staff Q stands out for its good attention, the General Service is very good. I loved it, 100% recommended.

We had a fabulous honeymoon at the Iberostar Bavaro Suites in Punta Cana. The rooms are very clean and equipped with small extras.
The cleaning staff can always come up with something new, with the decoration.
The whole hotel complex is huge and attracts over four hotels of the chain Iberostar. The beach is equipped with the finest sand and is cleaned daily.
In the hotel complex there are several smaller souvenir shops where you can actually get everything you need.
The food from the buffet is just gorgeous, we were already in many places in the world but, seldom had such a good quality of food and selection.
Daily there was also a theme in the buffet among others: Mexican, Dominican, Italian, us so on. Furthermore, it would give to the 8 or 9 specialties restaurants, but we did not try it, because we tasted the buffet so.
The waiters are always in a good mood and always have fun, which of course speaks for every Dominican.
We had a dream holiday and can only dream further.
I hope to have a bit longer holiday next time, but we will definitely be back and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our vacation here was all inclusive, My goodness, we enjoyed every minute of it great intertainment at night, beaches are clean, lots of drinks and food you'll never go hungry atmosphere was stunning. I highly recommend to everyone for their fabulous vacation.

Had a blast here. Beautiful resort. I was nervous as a lot of people mentioned how unfriendly the DR is to tourist but that was not my experience. Everyone was very friendly. We were all inclusive so no one expected tips or ignored you and such. My experience was great. The resort was beautiful and huge. Plan on doing a ton of walking. A lot of people complained about the food. But I find the local fruits, veggies, cheeses, and juices were great, but the American style foods like burgers or fried fish was bad. Just stick to the fresh stuff and you'll do just fine.

To put it simply: dream vacation. We went over Christmas as a large family group. The kids loved the pool and the beautiful beach. We loved watching the turtles and ducks in the ponds while we ate at the delicious buffet. The staff was all amazingly wonderful, they simply couldn't have been nicer. They put together really fun shows for the holiday and it was obvious that the staff were having fun too, which was nice to see. The food was great, the rooms were nice, we absolutely loved it there!

Great place for a family vacation, rested with 8 month old baby and cook special for him cooked food (cooked vegetables and chicken meat) The rooms are not the newest, but quite comfortable, the service is very high. The same cleaning 2zhdy a day!

Nice beach. Very friendly staff. But AVOID the Grand timeshare pitch. I was promised up down and sideways it was 45 minutes. Showed up and was told 90 minutes. 3 and half hours later we finally escaped. High pressure friendly "but how can you resist.?. Wait let me get my supervisor. " Ugh. Painful. Would not take no for an answer.

All inclusive, so you know what to expect from a food perspective, though the restaurants they have available were quite good. Staff was extremely pleasant. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Many areas for kids to play. Bartenders made the drinks stiff!

I really enjoyed my stay at this Resort. All the resort employees that I encountered during my stay was very helpful and friendly. They have eight restaurants for you to enjoy a variety of meals. This was my first time staying there I shall return in the near future.

I found an excellent hotel, very good attention, they supported me on everything. The Lord of the kitchen Orlando was very attentive and worried about the people who dined from the morning to night always listening to our opinions. Thanks also to public relations for the support provided.

The food and the gym here are fantastic! There is always plenty of food options and you can never lose. Orlando, one of the chefs, is attentive and wants to make sure you’re the happiest you can be. Trust me you can’t go wrong here! Excelente!

The staff were very helpful and the room was very good.

The hotel has a very nice outdoor area. The junior suites are pretty well used to. Food has deteriorated sharply in recent years, targeting only Americans. The prices are not reasonable for the offer! Not recommended for Christmas and New Year's Eve! Only American and Spanish extended families present. A maximum of 3 stars.

Don't recommend. No hot water. Big leak from ceiling to floor at entrance to room. Some employees friendly… Some employees very un-friendly.

Second time at the Iberostar Bávaro and it’s a wonderful experience. However went to go to the attached Iberostar resort to check out their jewelry shop. Went last time without incident. This time my mom and I were stopped by 3 different employees and questioned. Made to feel as though we were some type of low life criminal. Very disappointing and we just wanted to buy some earrings. Silver lining money saved.

I was leery at first because it's hard to find the exact name of the resort. It goes by a few, including the Bravado Suites. For a family trip it was perfect. Staff is nice, and a few dollar tip goes a long way to reward service (not required but appreciated). Considering they had two hurricane hits in the past 4 months, the place looks great. There's no obvious damage. Our room had a little musty smell but goes away when aired out. Since we are 200 ft from the ocean and humidity is like 80% all the time, it's a fact of life I'd guess. Room cools off nice with AC at night. Beach is beautiful white sand, goes for miles in both directions. Pools are good size. Food is above average for an all-inclusive. I came here to lie in the sun, not eat gormet but that's just me. Specialty restaurants are generally good. If you remember it's an island and not Disneyland, you'll like this place. The workers really try hard if you show any interest in them. Everyone was quite friendly. I really enjoyed the relaxing vacation here at the Suites. My family certainly did as well.

Bavaro Jr. Suites is very nice. Staff are incredibly friendly, they love to sing, dance and serve you. The room is always spotless. Food is good but not great and unable to get a good combination of hot and cold water in the shower. Asked the staff, the cold water pressure is not as strong as the hot.

Staying at Iberostar Bávaro Suites was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The beach was very beautiful, the staff super nice, and the food was amazing! When we left we felt really close to one of the staff members that he even invited us to his home. I greatly recommend coming here, its definitely worth it!

Very nice facility. A couple of jobs amateurs but very noisy and at the cleanliness one must also turn a blind eye. Because of general overhaul — > > not true… The positive thing is that you can use the two Iberostar hotels. But not the other way around…

Came here for 4 nights on our honeymoon, unfortunately I was sick for most of it. But the resort is very nice, lots of dining options and the rooms are clean and spacious. A couple of downsides were that when we went (mid October) the beach was covered in seaweed and it was impossible to swim in the water.

Resort staff are excellent at taking caring of you! Food is amazing, all kinds of different ethnic foods to pick from. We really love this place and am glad I chose it over other resorts.

I will never visit this resort again. We were here meeting up with our family from the uk, we are from Canada. Their room had mold and was so damp that their passports in their safe was wet. We were there when the hurricane hit the Dominican. Which wasn't a problem the hotel handled that fantastic and we felt safe and secure. We had food and lots of water. My issue with the hotel is what happened after this. Our flight was cancelled from air Canada and our air Canada rep didn't tell the hotel anything. When the rep called us he told us that the hotel had checked us out and we were no longer in our room. This was before our actual checkout date. He had sent his supervisor to make sure we were in the hotel. So we tried to extend our stay in the hotel to be told by the front desk that we had wait for our rep to tell the hotel that information. That would be the next day. We went back the next day to see if they had any information about extending our stay because we didn't want to be out of our room because we have a 7 month old little girl and our 8 yr old son. They said no it could be in their system at the end of the day. It wasn't long story short they never got anything or tried to. The next day was our actual checkout date. We went down to the front desk and asked to call our rep and they told us that we had to pay to use the phone. It's free to call the reps.

Service, hygiene, super-satisfied suites and unparalleled quality, pleased. Again!

Very good Hotel. Good attention to both bar and restaurant staff as well as the entertainment. It's only been about 10. Hurricane days and the state of the outdoors improves day by day.
The rooms and several outdoor areas are lacking in a lot of maintenance.
Another thing I don't. I understand is that after 3 days of notifying and several times that the toilet ran the water continuously have not been solved. A penalty of continuous spending of water and the noise of the water falling all night.
I'm still at the hotel.

The atmosphere and attitude of some employees is good although there are others that leave a lot to be desired! But what really annoys me that in such an expensive hotel you can not be sure… They rob you in your room and when you put the complaint no one gets attention and they show indifferent we were a group of 30 people sleeping in 9 different rooms and we were robbed… among all that we stole we calculated a total of no less than 35, 000 Dominican pesos! So this hotel would not recommend it as you do not feel safe in a place where your belongings are not safe and where they do not pay attention to your problems and needs!

This hotel is horrible. Checked in yesterday, toilet doesn't flush, the AC doesn't cool, the fan you can't regulate the speed, the bed sheet had sneaker prints on them, the pillow case had old blood stains on them. And on top of everything they would not compensate us for all the inconvenience. No customer service. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. A lot other better reomsorts then this one.

Great trip! Beautiful beaches, a great pool and many activities you can do. Dinner buffet food was good but not great. Breakfast and lunch buffets and specialty restaurants very good to great. Service overall was fantastic with a few minor exceptions.

Like any other place in the Dominican Republic, they're after your money and money only. We recently had a wedding there, they completely botched it aside from the actual ceremony. More importantly, we had a sick 2 year old and had to see a "doctor" within the resort. They charge you a few hundred dollars just for a "consultation". Complete joke. He had not a clue as to what he was talking about and was clearly all about the money. We went to an outside the resort clinic and that was no better (dirty, no doctor, zero English). Hopefully you don't need any medical attention when there. Took an emergency flight out of there.

Awesome place to be away… downfalls are. If you have children with you the pools close down at 6pm. So now what do you do with kids? No night swimming The beach closes at 7pm with an hour left of day light. All resturants require reservations really? We went to them and they were empty and some people were turned away because of no reservations ridiculous. SMH The male workers at the pools are busy trying to pick up visitors and are very blunt about it. Find a good waiter at each dining location and stay with them they will make your experience better. Others again are focused in females visitors. My wife and kids had fun but the pools times made the trip a little disappointing.

Dirty, noisy, the food is sub par. Guest in same building were yelling and banging on doors last night. I get better rest in the field. Fishing ponds dirty. Grounds are dirty, drinks poorly made, Don't wast your money. One big hustle. I know what 4 and 5 star hotels look like. This is more like a cheap Motel 6. The best thing about this place is the gym is top shelf. We are currently here for 5 nights MTF.

Just returned from our trip. We went from July 1 to July 8. This place was awesome! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The beach is spectacular. Food was amazing at the buffets and the sit down restaurants as well. I have seen some negtive reviews on here and let me tell you if you can not relax and enjoy yourself here… well, you need to look in the mirror because you are the problem not this resort.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so nice and friendly, they went out of their way to make sure you were enjoying yourself. The severs at the buffet, specifically Michael were awesome, he would never let me carry my own drinks back to the table which was a great help when you're toting a toddler around.

This is the worst hotel I went to in my entire life. The workers are gagos and Shashbazi kutratz baldies that don't speak my language. And worst of all, I cant emphasise this enough, tge Wi-Fi is horrible. Its like living under a rock. Other than that, the workers are nice even though they speak a different Language.

Year after year we've been coming to Iberostar Bavaro and everything seems to get better. From the moment you enter the front gate, everything seems to ro welcome you with it's manicured landscapes and spectacular golf course. Actually, the area is so large it's easy for anyone to get lost in, meaning, it consists of 3 sister hotels that can be used for any checked in guest. From the beautiful beaches and great food! The staff are great! Very courteous and willing to bend backwards to satisfy your needs. Betty, the manager has showed superior customer service amongst the tourist and a great way to recommend to family and friends.

I encountered a challenge upon check in… we are a family of 3 and the room available was only one king size bed… our son is 14y. O. And in need for a bed by himself. I was furious! Betty, the manager came to my rescue and tried very hard to please us. This is the reason why I kept on coming back on this resort… the customer service is excellent! They go beyond their means to accommodate each guest that comes in to their resort. Betty, thank you very much for not just doing your job BUT for your EXCELLENT customer service. The resort is as nice compared to the other Iberostar we stayed in Jamaica. We truly enjoyed the assorted dessert and variety of food that they serve on their buffet. The landscape of this resort is beautiful and the smiles of the respectful employees are truly inviting to visit again. Thanks again Betty for making our vacation a memorable one!

I stayed a week and had an awesome time with my family. I truly recommend to stay at the villas and use the gym. Only one negative: the sales staff at the lobby. They are trying to sell you a vacation club membership. Not worth it. Stay away from these at all costs.

Great place to relax, plenty of activities throughout the day, great entertainment in evening (if you are awake ;) Not really modern room but is comfortable enough. Excellent gym! My favorite are the treadmills! They are so quiet and stable! The staff is very friendly but could be bit more timely manner. Beach is excellent with plenty of space for running/walking/games. Overall, excellent experience and relaxation.
