We came here as an emergency as we had to arrive one day earlier before going to our resort in punta cana. I was blown away by the affordability and the comfort of this place. I reserved for one of the apartments and it almost felt like I was living in my own apartment. It was beautifully decorated with modern furniture, it had an Ac in the living room and the bedroom. A beautiful terrace with garden and jacuzzi, a kitchen and washing machine. What more can you ask for? The only reason why I didnt give them 5 stars is because after 10 pm they close the lobby and if you want to drink or eat something basically your on your own. I would have loved to have a vending machine nearby at that time since I was extremely thirsty. Other than that, the place is very comfy, quiet, beautiful, great pool and friendly staff. They have security protecting the hotel from the outside grounds and it is in a gated place. The food is average but not bad at all. I had the spaghetti with shrimp in white sauce and it was good! I would not reccomend this place for more than 2 nights, because it could get a little boring but you will be comfortable. Thanks karibo for giving us a pleaseant night.

The people were friendly and very helpful the Hotel rooms were good size TV inside and there is free Wi-Fi the rooms are keept clean on daily bases by the cleaning people. The pool was Good and The catering was bad simple things like cappuccino was missing from the menu. Another problem was the distance to the beach but you get a free ride to the beach and they also bring you back — — Watch out for the free bus services provided by the private bus companies, they offer people free ride to the shopping moulds from your Hotel but if you go to the wrong shop, or outside that shopping mould, they will refuse to take you back to your hotel. Then they will ask you to pay them $25 to take you back to your hotel. And you have to wait up to 2 hours for the next bus to arrive, — — if you go outside the shopping mould Taxi is usually cheaper. If you negotiate.

Very quiet Atmosphere, excellent for the rest after the nocturnal activity of Punta Cana. If you are someone who wants to know more than just a resort in the area, this is a good place to rest after the adventures.
It's Not an all inclusive so it's good to walk around with some extra stuff including a cooler for the beers.

I went there for my birthday. I left the hotel 4 days after to go to another one. The wife's owner asked us why we were leaving because I paid for 7 days I wanted to explain but my fiance didn't want all of that. Service was bad. Bathroom wasn't working properly and I was the one asking them to change the shower curtain. I also made a reservation 2 days before for my fiance's birthday and when we went there they told us they didn't have lobster which I asked. Look like a paradise in the website but it's a total disaster. Never again.

Staff is great! Hotel food is ok, rooms are decent and affordable. They offer shuttle transportation to the beach, but make sure you bring your food and snacks bc there was no place to buy food when we went there, also bring something to sit or lay down bc most of the beach is owned by resorts and their premises are for their guests only. You can definitely enjoy a beach walk.

Very good hotel, beautiful pieces, contains buses approaching the beaches, shopping etc. Very clean excellent service, especially javier who helped me and my boyfriend a lot, all very rich Greetings from Chile.

Exceptional stay with friends.

The worst place in the Punta Cana area. The equipment is not working, the owner is aggressive. I advise you to avoid this place. In the garden we had a guard who watched us at night : (

Very cosy. The rooms are modern and clean. The best part of Karibo is the staff. So kind and helpful.

Absolutely hotel! Since it is located about 1 km in front of that of the actual tourists — and beach zone, there is a very relaxed atmosphere here. No shouting or publed from open, and far and wide no annoying sellers as in the "beach zone. " Equipment with air conditioning, large flat screen and beautiful bathroom absolutely top and at European level! Delicious cheap menus are served from morning to evening at the poolable. Staff from reception to bartender super nice and helpful! The mini-market is around the corner, and the beach is only 1km away and you are right to stay in a beach hotel! Insider tip for people who do not want to live in the fenced beach area.

The place was nice and the staff helpful. We were surprised by the amplitude of the rooms, we were very pleased with them. We went during low season, thus there weren't a lot of tourists around, but because of it the place was nice and peaceful. The only area of improvement is regarding the room booking, we needed to tell the staff that we will arrive a day later than originally booked, but they did not answer our emails or phone calls, we were a little afraid of what that could mean, but there was no problem at the end. Please keep in mind that it is not close to the beach in a walking distance, but the hotel provides transportation. Taxis are very expensive, regardless of how close you are going, at least 15 US dollar the ride.

Horrible place! Dirty, full of cockroaches! very rude staff! Not helpful at all! Situated in dangerous area of Bavaro, where you can't go outside when it's dark because you can not come back safety. It's very loud because it's next to a very busy road where locals drive like crazy. And last think the manager Barbara! She ignores all the complaints, she is not helpful at all! Grrrr never again! I don't recommend it to anyone!

Lovely place with very nice rooms. The pool area is very nice, the breakfast is good and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. They have a private shuttle that takes you back and forth to the beach.

Great hotel with a great price. The staff is amazing.

Clean place, spacious rooms. Reasonable drink prices, food is not great but edible. Maids are friendly, went during low season and the hotel was not crowded. Internet only worked by the lobby area. The hotel is located next to golf resort, felt okay to walk around during the day. Despite what staff says, I would not walk around at night especially off property and by yourself. It's not safe to do so.

This is not a good hotel because there is always a bad serving air conditioning there is not good.

Close enough to Avenida Espana, for those that want a bit of the nightlife outside the "All inclusive Zones". Best bet, if you want a decent hotel, and comfort outside the mega pricey zone. The Wi-Fi is a bit sucky. It works, but I have had better in other less impressive hotels. I give them a 4 out of 5. (Only because of the Wi-Fi).

They need to remodel and it needs a good cleaning.

Great place for those looking for an alternative to hotels all inclusive. Pool huge, good kitchen and apartments very well decorated and finished.
