The staff is amazing. The food is really good. 5 restaurants with a good variety of food You have to walk 3 minutes to the beach. Everyrhing is close safe and clean.

Room — nirvana extremely nice! -Cleanliness — 5 -Food — (lacks variation) — 3 but I get it -Entertainment — 5 -Staff (helpful pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable) — 5 -Feeling safe — 5 Would do again! but I don’t repeat islands! :) so I would recommend!

We arrived at a the resort by a group of wounderful staff workers greet with a smile cool rag and a cool refreshing drink. It is a beautiful place to relax and just enjoy what all the resort has to offer. The live shows at night we're great and the food and drinks was fantastic. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the stay at v heaven.

I loved this hotel. At first, the room we had was close to the pool and a whole bunch of things weren't working (e. G. Hair dryer, light, safe) and we had requested an Amnesia Suite room with a king bed but Santo (lovely staff member! ) kindly helped us out by switching us to another room with all of our requests. The service was great. Its a smaller resort but I would much rather take that over a resort with lots and lots of children. The beach, as other comments mention, is a five minute walk away but it is absolutely beautiful. They have a restaurant and bar on the beach as well. Please refer to the pictures attached for some views of the resort.

Just spent two weeks here. If you are looking to relax this hotel is a great choice the hotel, staff, food, pool and beach were fantastic. The beach was on a horse shoe bay shared with other resorts. Great for strolls and early morning jogs. Thanks to the entertainment staff who work so hard, days and evenings to keep everyone involved and mingling if you so choose. Loved the Africa show on the beach. While it only had 4 restaurants each of these had good food, nicely cooked fish and beef we never had a bad meal. I never eat pizza but having daily freshly made pizza on the beach was unexpected and so tempting, along with the fresh fruit coffee drinks and water. It is an older hotel but the service and cleanleness was excellent If you need anything you just have to ask. The only improvement I would like to see is more sun shade on the beach. There are lots of large palm trees but additional umbrellas would be nice. One large Pool area, had plenty of umbrellas and chairs Adult only resort and it had, all age ranges. We got to meet a great selection of nationalities, Canadian, German, English South American and a smaller number of Americans. Only 10 minutes from the town of Puerto Plata and walking distance to a small strip mall. Would go back in a heart beat.

Just arrived. The hotel is just super! All staff very polite and helpful! I was the only one from Russia, don't speak other languages, but this did not prevent my rest. Animation, and Betty Boom, Leela, Tito, Panther and all the lads are friendly, active. Ttito on a catamaran is also well done — so polite and professional. I am very well rested, thank you to all the staff! The area is clean, the rooms cleaned daily and clean. I love the Dominican Republic! It is a pity that the Russians do not go to this hotel!

This resort is poorly designed and very poorly managed. Food was bland and always the same. Service was far worse than any 3 star resort. Should be rated a 2 star at best.

Perfect resort with amazing amenities and friendly staff. The only thing I wish was better is the 24 room service… it almost takes that long to get your order. Jose and team at front desk are super.

Truly 5 star. 24hr all inclusive room service. Four restaurants on the resort. Great staff. Clean and modern. I just arrived today, and even though I haven't been here 24hrs yet I have already eaten lunch with room service and the meal was warm when it arrived and yummy. Also, I had dinner at the Dominican restaurant (no reservation necessary). I ordered the seafood dish; mussels/calamari/baby clam and fish. My gosh it was delish.

It was in for repairs in October and there was no all inclusive service teal.

Love this resort 2nd year coming back and it's always great! Pools and beach all fabulous. Can not say anything negative about it here. My wife and I get the relaxation we want.

This place is great, has all kinds of food. They are very efficient in their services, they have daily activities provided by a team of animation amazing.

Maximum 3 stars. The entire hotel is filled with noise, street noise on one side and loud music on the other side of the property. Constantly loud doors popping through ruthless guests. 90% Canadian audiences mostly drunk by the animation pushed. Even on the beach you will be loudly sounded. Restaurants are overly air-conditioned and food is always cold.
Pool is not cleaned, all chairs are reserved with towels. Staff very friendly and accommodating but helpless. Beds and rooms are cleaned daily and beds are made.
Conclusion: Hotel only suitable for holidaymakers who want to party constantly.

Super Animation the Choco. Pinki. Barbie! Super clean Suite. Restaurant a la carte extra single note buffet Same thing every day no seafood! Pi no music on the beach a little long after 14 days has by its nothing to say I would go back anytime! I was the January 2 to 16

Very good adult only resort. This is the second time in DR and this experience was great. Food was tasty and filling. Animator and staff are fun, kind and hospitable. Beach was good not spectacular. Rooms were clean and pretty modern updated for 2017. Excellent variety of cuisines with no limit or reservation needef for a la carte dining. Main negative feesback is the vulchares of time share people trying to make a sale on your way to breakfast. Or the annoying vendors trying to sell you junk or manicures on the beach while your are trying to enjoy your vacation and tan. Like I get it, people are not as economically well off as us Canadians and so much depends on the tourism but for God sake leave me alone when I am on the beach people. Stop trying to hustle the tourist or you will end up like Cuba.

I was doing my research to find the perfect resort to spend my birthday vacation at and I decided on Viva Wyndham V heavens although there was plenty of mixed reviews I wanted to go and check it out for myself and I am so glad I did because it was the best 5 days I have spent in the Dominican Republic. Let me start off with the food omg it was amazing everyday the buffet offer so many amazing choices and my ultimate favorite a la carte was Sofritos it was so good to have nice Dominican food. The drinks at the bar are all right it all depends on the bartender Luis and Javier always got my drinks right so I was happy to see them at the bar, the girls were ok they don’t really seem very friendly expect for ana she was very nice. One thing I didn’t enjoy was the two out of my five days there the cleaning lady just opened the door to my room without knocking and I had the don’t disturb sign because we were still sleeping one of them got extremely scared when she actually saw there was people in the room, Idk that was a bit wierd. The Wi-Fi is ok it’s not the best but I was able to stay in contact with my family in certain areas of the hotel. Now the animation team wow what can I say those people are AMAZINGGG! They just made my trip so worth it and let me tell you all I will be going back to this hotel because of them.

This appears to be a place that was once good but whose quality has diminished. We had fairly high expectations considering all the positive reviews so we were ultimately disappointed with our experience. On the positive, the staff appeared to be hard working and helpful. If anything I would speculate that the decline of this resort is likely a management issue. Our biggest complaint was how we were constantly bombarded by salespeople — first in the resort itself, with regular overtures to purchase expeditions; but also on the beach (not remotely private) with relentless vendors harassing us on a regular basis. Secondly, we had explicitly requested room configurations which we were not granted. And one of the rooms did not even have functioning air conditioning. Which we were told was fixed three times before finally changing rooms. As far as I know that room still doesn't have functioning air conditioning but I am sure guests are being placed there. As this was our first engagement with the resort (followed by an average first meal) we did have a good impression from the beginning. I've personally stayed at multiple resorts (and members of my party had stayed at even more), including two others in the Dominican and by far this was my worst culinary experience — though there was a lot of selection, the quality of the buffet and snack food was sub-par at best and I am still not convinced that we were actually eating beef. Luckily no one got sick.

Delicious food, clean room and beach. Helpful staff. Quite guests. Room is a bit small (the bliss room) and it is not a luxury hotel. Good value overall for the price.

Excellent Hotel, adults only, restaurant formula "No reservation" in the all inclusive very interesting.

My stay here has been awesome thus far. The resort is beautiful! Hospitality is A-1 and it's always something to do. No complaints this way.

This is my 4th time calling this location and each time I am rudely interrupted and then transferred to another department. No one stays on the line long enough to hear what I am requesting. Calling Wyndham reservations is no help. They are constantly transferring me. I have yet to have a good experience doing business with any Wyndham.

The best stuff works here! Very friendly! Robocop is the best showman in the world! " I love my job " that what he said always! The food and hotel amazing too. We gonna come back soon…

Great place for rest and holiday well well.

Not good value for money. The beach is small but nice however the food is very bad at the buffet. Other Dominican resorts have a good selection of seafood and beans and rice combinations. The resort here had stale bread and cereals for breakfast, cold pancakes and French toast. For lunch and dinner there was overcooked seafood and unripe fruits. Room service is also just sandwiches or a fruit plate. Don't be fooled. Staff are generally unenthusiastic and other than some entertainment staff that were genuinely trying to do their jobs, most were tired and worn looking.

Busy little resort. Almost claustrophobic. You'd think based on the name of the resort and the room descriptions, you've found your own little piece of paradise. Not quite true. Though recently updated, the resort has a tired, worn feeling to it. Buffet was small and food sub par. Nothing is actually cooked in front of you. Food is often just reheated. Beach is pretty, but cramped. It can be hard to find shade. The beach vendors are numerous and persistent. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this place may not be it.

Horrible. Horrible. Did I say horrible. I will leave the swearing out. Add the construction on top of the place. I will not call it a resort. Sunwing was great. Got Me the hell out of there. No way more than 2 star.

This is a very nice resort relaxing and the staff is super engaging the encourage you to participate in all activities. I when on a all girl trip but found out this is more of a couples resort, never the less my most favorite staff was the bartenders Luz, Kennedy and Augusto they made sure we were never in need of a drink. Kevin hart was amazing his up beat energy kept us going when we needed it. Goofy, Ronald Orlando who we nick named "hips" were always silly and playing, and I couldnt fail to mention dancing (they taught the girls an I some moves) If you happen to not particularly care for resort food Martha at the front desk has great tips on going off the resort safely and indulging in the Dominican culture with Felipe as your tour guide he speaks 4 different languages and knows all the spots. Overall we had an amazing time great laughs good drinks and beautiful scenery. Note dont change your money they want the American currency and the conversion to pesos is a headache!

Went to this hotel last week. Sunwing and other sites rated this hotel a 4.5 stars. This is a 3 star hotel at best. The hotel is very small, with one small pool. Usually only two restaurants are open at the same time. The food is very repetitive and not very good. I travel often and have been to Dominican many times as well as Cuba and Mexico. Dominican usually being my favorite. This hotel was the worst I have ever been too and a huge disappointment. The service was horrible and the animation team looked bored themselves. They did a few things but felt they did not entertain enough. The beach is a 5 min walk within the property but you get a view of a strange swamp. The drinks were very disappointing — they never used fresh coconuts or bananas. Overall the hotel was very clean. We were first given the Bliss room which felt like a closet. We had to upgrade to a better room. I would never return to this hotel.

The hotel wasn't bad considering the price. The rooms were clean, the staff was really nice. The mini bar consists only of a coffee maker, 2 cups, teas; their fridge contains 2 cokes, 2 sprites, 2 bottles of water, and 2 beers. I actually had to call room service to have my fridge restocked on the first day, as the cleaning lady stated that the fridge will not be restocked until it has been emptied (no one wanted the diet coke), but we settled with that with the front desk and had our fridge restocked daily. The food selection was good, ate mostly at V kitchen since other restaurants opened randomly. Beach vendors were annoying at times, but the beach is not private so they are allowed to roam as they wish.

Is very good, is cozy, and the people of the hotel very friendly and supportive. It is advisable to.

The hotel is cozy, has a good pool and a beach club good, the disco is spectacular and the restaurants are good (Blend is fusion cuisine, Puebla mexican food and the law firm where you will find a little bit of everything. It is adults only hotel. It has a spa and relaxation pool.

This is a very good Adults Only resort! Service is excellent, food is above average and the resort is fun and very clean. BIG recommendation to stay here! We will come back.

Small but excellent. Adult only. Staff are friendly and v. Accomadating. Mostly quiet but still a lot of fun with some party atmosphere day/nights. Only 2 days in and loving it.

Great resort! Food is good, all inclusive booze is great as well! They'll make any drink you want, including the local Mamajuana! All the staff is nice, but sometimes it seems they don't really want to be there, which is not the most pleasant thing to see in a server or a bartender on a resort. Overall I give this resort a 5 star review, rooms were clean when we showed up, and the maids did a great job at keeping everything nice and tidy everyday! The beach is one minute away from the main pool, and there is a private walkway to the beach. We found the buffet to be the best option on the resort, you see what you get, and the options are aplenty! They do "theme nights" Evey so often, from "food around the world" to "Mexican" and other. You can stay here for a week, and not have to eat the same kind of food twice. The attractions offered here are good, but from what I understand not the cheapest around, the mall right next to the hotel might have the same attractions but at a cheaper price, do your research and ask around. Very nice smaller resort. Adult only. Very well maintained and clean. Food was delicious. The entertainment staff were, by a huge margin, the best we have experienced and we have been to quite a few different resorts in the last number of years. The resort is NOT on the beach. It will take a 5 minute stroll through the mangroves to reach the ocean. We had no problem with that.
