Great hotel, gorgeous beach and Caribbean. The service at the hotel is wonderful. I really like it here.

This is definitely a one-star Hotel. Huge waste of money. We had a room with the bed leaning on one side infested with mosquitoes. A smell to it. When we requested for a new room, they told us that half of the rooms have no air condition. So basically we have to suck it up until we leave. Customer service is horrible. I believe it has a whole lot to do with underpayment of Staff members. The all-you-can-eat buffet is horrible as well.

Nice, good atmosphere. Beautiful setting. Pool and beach at the top. Only the food is not terrible. The price of excursions and car rental is prohibitive.

The rooms we stayed in had no A/C, the first room was 80 degrees and we asked to change, we found out they kept the rooms at 75 degrees, we asked for our bed sheets to be changed since humidity made them wet and never got them changed. The food was decent, the pool and ocean front was way too busy, not very restful. The nice beach beds are not free. The pool was a little dirty and the paint coming off. They had two different speakers with different music going on. They also allow people in the resort to sell you stuff. There is only one spot in the whole resort to get beach towels. No hair conditioner provided.

Buffet options were amazing, the seafood was the best I've ever had. Blown away by what they offered. Front desk staff were great, the room service staff was the best by far. Weird part about the resort was at night everyone disappears. There was a night club but it wasn't packed, we couldn't figure out if everyone legit went to bed at 10pm or if they went out. Not very many Americans here, a lot of French and spanish. Also. Don't walk along the beach at night. There are no signs posted but it's dangerous for tourists. There are also NO sharks. We were told in the US there were but it is false. The beach was a dream. Warm, easy surf, shells, not overcrowded.

Overall a very decent hotel, good, tasty, raznoojuraznaja food, booze, there is a basain, great access to the sea. The food and drinks are 24 hours, almost all over the area there is free slow Wi-Fi. The rooms are old but well maintained. The mini-bar is always lined with water, beer, lemonade and coffee. On the territory there are huge lizards, ducks, turtles and kitty.

I've been to Santo Domingo in the Caribbean with this company. The team is great. The Pool is huge. The rooms are very cute. The scenery is breathtaking. The Sea is the most beautiful thing in the world. The food is not bad. I love this trip. ❤ ❤

No problem! The beach is clean, the room comfortable and large. The staff were friendly and helpful. A wide choice at the buffet. The adjoining restaurants were good. I especially recommend the Japanese, which in addition to the show, is very good and the pizzeria that is not bad.
The diving club in the hotel is perfect! They speak: Spanish, French, English and German (as far as I know)!

A beautiful place, the site is very clean, the beach beautiful. However the staff at the Cafe Center and the waiters at the buffet are arrogant impatient, t ignore little smiling if I would have been in my country I will not let me answer in this way and I am not a difficult person in life but there is a minimum of respe CT when you work with tourists, and for having to talk with other tourist on the premises we found the same thing. And the party of the new year that cost US $25 per person more very very disappointing little animation too short length! c was my first experience in the Dominican Republic and the last in a live be.

Excellent beach area, grounds are expansive, beautiful and well maintained, rooms are clean but could use a fresh coat of paint (pretty typical for a Caribbean location that's not 5-star). The staff are a mixed bag, front desk are the worst, grounds keepers and room attendants are awesome, the restaurant workers are half and half. If the staff were all as good as the room cleaners this place would be amazing.

With my wife we made our honeymoon in January 2016 at this hotel.
In addition to the dream scenery, we never had a lack of space on the beach or at the pool.
The staff did their best to fill the tourists and we had nothing to complain about their services.
When I see some reviews about the meals not varied or the cleanliness of the rooms or the management of the problems, certainly we pay to have a good time but do not forget that the staff folds in 4 to meet the needs of the tourists and that In their lives they do not have half a quarter of what they serve us so a little indulgence would be welcome.
Moreover for some rooms more or less clean, work is constantly done so everything can not be done with a snap of fingers.
If one asks politely there is always a possible arrangement.
In short, in conclusion a week unforgettable and we look forward to returning!

First time in Dominican Republic the room is awful. The plumbing is rusty. No noise insulation with corridor. The floor is dirty and the legs are lying down. The toilet with a glass not closing a door (as you understand all can be heard and it is visible. :) ) We were in a room with children… So imagine.
The pools are filthy. No children's slides.
Food for 2.
No English speaking staff.
Slow Wi-Fi (well that there is free Wi-Fi) The only thing is the white sand on the beach.
I was previously in Turkey, Egypt and Dubai, domestic Sochi and the rat. … And now I can't figure out what's going on with the Dominican.

If I could do 0 for service, I would. They make you sign a release to get your money back for their own malfunctioning safes. And to boot, overall staff service was poor.   On the upside, food quality was better than most resorts at a 7/10.   Resort describes itself as a family-friendly resort; very difficult to make it around with a stroller and if you ask for a highchair, by the time you come back the next day it may have arrived.   Room service/guest services takes about 4-6 hours to respond to inquiries… ie no bath towels in rooms.

Typical hotel caribbean. Big, good beach, pools, great rooms. Restaurants, thematic, it has everything, not to go out. But do not let you do it, close to Boca Chica and many things to see and best of all, its people.

A very expansive and nice layout for the resort. Many a la carte restaurants which were fantastic. The buffet did not vary and was tiresome by the end of the week. Friendly staff and not pushy entertainment staff. Unfortunately our room was very hot the last few days and they just said it's hot in the Dominican and couldn't do anything about it. Even though we know the air conditioning was broken and our toddler woke at 2 am staying "hot, hot Mom" and all he was sleeping in was a diaper.

Looks like a hotel in the middle of the jungle. Very nice and cozy. Birds are loose in the hotel and some enter the dining room and the tourists give them food.

On the outside it looks cute (green areas with animals) … But the rooms (sloppy and not very clean) and the food (very basic and bad) leave a lot to be desired and especially for what it costs. Honestly the only thing worth it is the pool and the beach of the rest do not expect much…
Note: It is advisable to carry a data plan if you want to have access to the Internet, because the Wi-Fi only works in certain areas of the hotel.

My wife and I enjoyed the food is great and the rooms very spacious and always well cleaned l, entertainment is good and the beach is always well cleaned.

The main thing about a resort is its staff, they show you a smile, bad food and little varied, etc. Etc.

Penultimate structure before the National Park of Este. Rooms in the VIP block with pleasing furnishings and with all comforts, also an excellent Bluetooth sound system. Private beach Area where you can find the sunbeds without any problems. Restaurants where disorganization reigns and the quality of food is at the limit of edible. You save the restaurant in the Veraclub area reaching enough. From the comparison with the ViVa comes out loser without any doubt.

Facility Super But food not so great.

Really great resort with super nice customer service. There's lots of stuff to do if you plan correctly. The kayak and sports stuff is all free to do but you do need to sign up before hand just fyi. The food was great too and the scenery was amazing with free-roaming birds and streams with turtles and fish. The garden is a must see with very beautiful natural decorations. The one reason I don't give a 5 star is because there are a lot of companies that rent space in the resort to sell stuff to the tourists. Lot's will try to sell you knick knacks, paintings, and especially they will try very hard to sell you the lifestyle vacation package. Overall, the resort was an incredible blast and there were so many things to do (especially with the pleasant surprises like free coconuts)

The basic rooms are dated and need alot of updates and maintenance. But you have to ask yourself, how much time do you actually spend in your room. It's a basic room, stuff will work, a/c will work, beds are clean. The buffet food isn't the greatest but all inclusive vacations usually aren't. Unless you make the reservations at the restaurants. Nice resort pool. Beach is close. Staff is friendly. Lots of people trying to sell you stuff. On par with Cuban vacations but Cuba is usually less expensive.

Nice and clean hotel. The Hotel beach is great. Crystal clear water and a small reef for snorkeling. Nice staff is also on site. It's a good way to stand. We liked it very much. Caribbean music was still played on the beach and a dance class was offered. There is also a VIP area. But there was nothing going on there and we stopped by the pool. There was free Wi-Fi. Is always nice on holiday too.

I went here using a day pass so I didn't see the rooms. The day pass cost about $40 USD I thought it was a good value. The food was very good. The drinks were a little weak which for me is a good thing. The beach was clean and there seemed to be a variety of activities going on. I would definitely go again.

Located right on the beach. From the room to the sea 5 minutes on foot. The area is large, there is a place to walk. The food is average, does not change. There are restaurants. You are available 2 per week by choice. I haven't been there yet. In the hotel live mainly foreigners. Here you will meet elderly people, several families with children, couple. The Russians are not much. If you want to hang, meet a free girl or a guy, you're not in Dominican. There's a boarding house. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. I saw the usual, he lived in the deluxe. There's still a VLP, but I don't know. Wi-Fi is bad. Inet only at the Pool 1 hour a day for free. The alternative is for $25 for 6 days 25 hours of slow Wi-Fi. You can buy sim. But you need to hire a taxi, go somewhere, buy and return. Taxi is self-paid. Sim, too.

My insider tip — great hotel complex!

The hotel is in a good location. The room fund old has not been repaired for a long time. Service-Take care of yourself. The food is excellent. The sea is often murky. Real coffee only at the central entrance to the plaza-bar, everything else slop. Cocktails do not do in any bar. The grounds are big and green lots of birds. Animation on the five with the Caribbean slope. Who is not afraid of a pleasant stay.

Have made good experiences to this day. Considering that the hotel is about 30 years old. Food quite good at a very enjoyed selection.

Beautiful holiday made in January 2018. The village large and laid out great, rooms large and comfortable. White beaches and especially a spectacular sea with sunsets. Fairytale. What about more? Dream Vacation.

Very disappointing hotel, we went there during the cyclone, we were warned of nothing. We were given a box with two sandwiches with an apple and a bananepour the next day staying there for 15 days the beaches was still not clean and cleaned. The pool was far from clean.
In the room we had a water leak and on 3 room none had the same furniture. Because of the rains downpour the cyclone our terrace was flooding, we call the staff but no one came. To finish we got robbed in our room and they accused us. We say that we should not go to the police on the other hand it does not have what the French embassy told us.
Only positive point the food that has good but not very varied.
I do not recommend at all! to flee!

Cigarettes paper rooms, the neighbors snore, no water bottles, freezing showers. Cleaning to review, meals always the same, impossible to book the restaurants because always full. Forced to change rooms several times, a bad organization and the staff poorly effective. The icing on the cake: a beautiful tarantula in the hallway of the rooms!

Most reviews, bad and good are based on the experience had. We are fortunate to say we had a very pleasant one at this hotel. I’m happy we took the chance with this hotel because it was absolutely nothing like some of the negative reviews I read. The buffet was more than good! They give you the basics plus some and it’s more than good enough to get you by for one week, especially if your creative. It’s 100x better than Cuba. Pasta station was amazing and the NYE buffet was outstanding. Well done! The beach is stunning. Soft and clean sand and beautiful water! The room we paid a bit extra for and upgraded to superior, the newer rooms — no complaints at all! If you like to be secluded from the action than VIP is for you. We were perfectly fine without it. The lobby outside is just beautiful! It really gives you a Caribbean feel being outside. All the restaurants were excellent except Rodizo, for us. All the meat was served very bloody and very undercooked. Japanese was the best Most importantly, BIG props to the the entertainment crew because they are spectacular. I felt impelled to right a review solely for these guys! Definitely the best we’ve met or seen on a resort. The amount of effort and passion that goes into making sure the guests have a good time and are comfortable is unreal! They’re super sweet! The entertainment starting from the morning right to the very end is amazing! MJ show was phenomenal! We found everyone generally very friendly. Thank you guys!

One of the nicest resorts I've been to. You see lots of staff around maintaining the resort. The restaurants that need reservations aren't that great which is why I only gave it four stars otherwise it would've been 5. You have to pay $10 a day to rent the cabanas around the pool or on the beach and I would recommend it. They're comfortable and it's nice to be able to spread out. Overall — I would definitely recommend this resort. It was absolutely beautiful.

Excellent hotel and not as expensive as you would think. I recommend to spend an unforgettable holiday.

It's great for a four-star. The beach, the animation. At the beach it does not have enough of the lounges and chairs when the hotel is full. We find are food side account. Wine is however not drinkable. But there is possibility to buy bottles for about $20 US. Side Show, they make efforts but they have a long way to go. However there is a nice nightclub for fun. The room and the service are more than acceptable. We had a nice stay for the Christmas period.

Lost Club facility. Drinks in plastic cups. The sea water has stunk and the beautiful pool was very dirty. Otherwise, okay. Lots of greenery and animation. As a TUI cruise excursion from my ship but not recommended.

Ample resort with all the comforts and services, good attention and variety of meals/drinks. However, there are some old sectors and rooms with problems in bathrooms or humidity.

It's a place to hang out. The staff is friendly. The experience is acceptable but nothing extraordinary, just OK.

Great Scuba Diving! Ask about diving sweet water cave! Multiple wrecks, great reef. Very nice atmosphere. Clean. Good food.

Reception and Guest service: They are very nice and kind.
Very nice renovated room quite large (No. 2014), just a small problem but that was settled within 10 minutes so very good repair service and very nice and clean maid.
The buffet restaurant is amazing with an incredible choice, excellent buffets, and never misses anything: Breakfast: Different breads, pastries, pancake cakes, fruit, cereals, teas and coffees and fruit juices at Profusion, bacon, sausages, cheese, vegetables, potatoes, eggs… And still a lot of good things that I certainly forget.
Lunch and dinner Different breads, ready-to-eat sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers, a variety of salads, prepared meals, vegetables, meats and fish and shrimp and calamari, potatoes, rice and various pasta, fried foods, cheeses, a variety of Desserts, cakes, donuts, and ice creams…
Thanks to Chef Gilberto, very professional and very kind who helped me well with his good natural remedies of honey, lemon, and fruit teas for my sore throat.

Hi, Everyone who checks in here should take a safe of who is so stupid and thinks that in this country he has fallen on the head with the suitcase safe number … The figures: 14 burglaries a week for people in the room whose suitcases were lifted and several hundred euros were stolen, as well as watches and jewellery.

The food is deplorable I left with 3 friends we were all sick, everything is expensive, we get accosted by sellers every 5min.
I do not hide that I look at the reviews before leaving and I thought what was said about this hotel was not necessarily true when in fact everything is said. If you have time to change hotel I would advise you to do so as one to spend our holiday in the room completely sick.

You can see the money has been taken into your hands and what is happening. Many rooms have been renovated and are being finished. The system is totally ok. The food is well … could be better. But you don't have to starve. Book at bestenVIP then eat gintves also better service u d better. Went for the ga Ze Caribbean.

We stayed with my husband from the 17th to the 30th of November. We had hired a superior room of Luxe and by the deplorable conditions we passed by three different before our claims: We found dirt, abandonment, lack of maintenance and dirt, fungi and humidity in walls and ceilings, taps, sanitary, Broken furniture. The hair dryer blew up when we plugged it in. Foul smells all over the property. The food they offer is dire, of the worst quality. Lack of cleanliness even on the beach, where there is not a single basket to deposit the garbage, which do not collect. All the time Detectábamos other passengers claiming for the same reasons. Nothing can be salvaged from that dreadful hotel, just the goodwill that some employees put in. Very unfortunate experience.

In my case the experience was good. The hotel is great, the Japanese restaurant is excellent, the beach is beautiful… Although to taste the hotel is big and cool but not lovely but my experience was good.

Nice location for this Bayahibe hotel.
The exteriors are pleasantly well appointed and maintained, staff available and smiling, clean and well equipped beach.
However, the rooms lack refreshment, the food is not crazy, but the fruits are divine!
When we came, the hotel was in work and our room was in the midst of noises, tremors… Unfortunately the management did not want to do anything.

The place is not very. Don't weert pictures, pool Obsharpanyj. The room is dirty, the service is terrible. When there was one towel in the room and a room for 4 people and when asked for a towel not to be carried until they gave money. The beach is uneven water very stinks and a lot of rocks and what that strange algae. If you choose the hotel choose Kotoloniju.

The service is very friendly and courteous. The best was the Eddy at the Beachbar (not the main notable, but the one on the right).

The best part of this "resort" are the drinks. There are plenty of bars, never more than a 2 minute wait and the drinks tasted great. Also, the grounds are beautiful — lots of local plants and animals abound. Most of the staff was friendly, despite the language barrier. Here are the negatives: -A/C — the only area with air conditioning is the room. You'll be sweating everywhere else, including while eating dinner, shopping, or sitting in the lobby. Not fun at all. -The food was pretty awful. There was always a large selection of items to choose from at the main 3 meals, however it all tasted bad. My husband and I came home ravenous and had lost a few pounds. I had undercooked chicken and overcooked seafood at least 4 times during my stay. The dessert table was beautiful and someone in the bakery area is clearly gifted in their presentation skills, however, all of the desserts tasted the same, despite being decorated differently or having a different color. Weird. The 24hr "snack bar" was the biggest joke: around 5 pitiful looking salad toppings, 2 sliced fruit plates (which all had flies buzzing in or around), french fries, hot dogs (no buns) and hamburger patties. Just bad. -Salesmen. They corralled us to the VIP area and tried to sell us a vacation package for "next time" as well as show us the VIP amenities. They did look great, but who wants to spend more right after check-in after you've already paid thousands for a trip?! Why have two different sections?!

Great hotel. Very friendly staff, nice food, clean, the beach is clean and the bars are amazing, reasonable prices.

Upon arrival we was thrilled about the scenery around the resort. It wasn't until we got into the room and started having issues. The room in itself wasn't cleaned properly it had a smell during the whole trip and that night we went to bed we noticed blood stains on the sheets, (They did come and clean the room) — During this same night we went to shower and noticed no wash clothes in the room. We called for housekeeping to bring us wash clothes, upon house keeping coming they brought us body towels. We explain when they came we need wash clothes for washing our body. They acknowledge that they understood, and stated they will bring some wash clothes, then the second time they brought us face towels. At that time we just assumed that it was a language barrier. We called the front desk once again and they never showed up. The next morning, we called again to check the status of the wash clothes, the front desk then explained to us that they only give wash clothes to VIP members. I thought this was a joke or misunderstanding but they were pretty serious. And explained that it is only a VIP privilege. I finally decided to go to the front desk and talk to them face to face. After a 30min conversation explaining to them that this is the first time in traveling I every heard of Something like that we have stayed in many of hotels. It didn't make any sense; it actually cost more for a body towel then a wash cloth to be made. They eventually gave us the wash clothes.

I went the weekend of September 15, 2017. And I say that since the arrival and it was wrong. The road getting to the hotel was flooded and despite being 500 meters from the entrance to 5.30 pm. I was able to enter at 9.30 by which a very friendly worker named Julian and we went and to look for in a 4x4 vehicle. The hotel is old the rooms as they note the passage of time and you have not remodeled anything. The food is more standard. The attention of the staff fatal. The beach was very good and the cleanliness in the room as in the social areas. Overall we really enjoyed our 6 night stay. Suggestion: upgrade to the VIP at some level, it really makes a difference. Do it prior to checking into the hotel, it will be a lot less money. We upgraded through Vacation Express! There are different VIP levels, but ours allowed us the best of both worlds. We could mingle with the masses at the large pool, bars and beach and when needed we could retreat to an adult only, calmer area of the beach and separate pool with calmer bars, snack and lounge areas as well. Pro's: friendly staff, the language barrier wasn't too much of an issues, there was usually someone who spoke English or could translate. The resort grounds were so pretty and vibrant. There was food (very average tasting at best) available all through the day and night and the drinks flowed all day and night as well. We met a lot of friendly and interesting people from all over the world. Con's: Our room was nice because we had the VIP upgrade, we had a ceiling fan, but the room was still not cool enough for what we are used to, but we made it work. It took us 3 days, yes 3 days and several trips to the VIP and main desk just to get face towels. We got 2 on Wednesday and 1 on Thursday. Oh well at least we had hand and bath towels.

By number status at 3 star level. The area is great and well cared for. The beach is decent, but a lot of people.

Very problem. The main restaurant is open, very hot. A map of restaurants is not good (except Mr. Greeley's meat in the Brazilian restaurant). Drinks in the low-cost category, juices are mostly powdered. The beach and the fish are very good.

This is a great all inclusive destination that is family friendly. Includes multiple dining options (some require reservation) including the Buffet, Japanese Steakhouse, Brazilian Steakhouse, Mexican Restaraunt, Local Seafood, etc. There are multiple bars to choose from as well spread throughout the resort (Pool, Beach, Plaza, etc). Live entertainment is offered throughout the week utilizing a theater, the main plaza, and the beach. Coffee/Espresso bar is available in the plaza as wull as numerous shopping options. The Beach is gorgeous with crystal clear water, multiple seating options and just a stunning coastline. Staff is super friendly and always seemingly delighted to help.

If you choose a number, be careful. I recommend that the 8-11 is quiet and there are no restaurants with fried oil in the evenings. The hotel is life, you can feed the fish and turtles. At CHF The Peacock Restaurant is always. The beach is good, good views. Beach is always free, but if the shade of the palm with the sea view is 6. Get up. The main restaurant for three daughters for nine years, we had enough, we had reservations in others, but we never went. Prices in boutiques are very good. Expensive-better than a taxi in Ljaromanu 25 km, with signatories 35-40 $, I think it's cheaper if hitched's going to order a hotel in twice the road. They'll take you to a a boutique, but they're better at the supermarket. We were resting well, which is what you want!

We had a great stay but I think it was all because we upgraded to VIP. Completely affordable and worth the upgrade @ $20 per person per day. It included a renovated room, exclusive pool and beach area, additional lounge areas, free Wi-Fi access in VIP areas, upgraded drinks, and free restaurant reservations. We noticed long lines at the bars and towel stands but as VIP guests we were able to go to different places instead. The upgraded drinks (all hand made using middle shelf liquor) were indescribably better than what was served at the regular bars. The grounds were really pretty and enjoyable to walk around. Most of the guests are European so we got to meet all different people. The language barrier was challenging at times even with staff but it forced me to use what Spanish I do know. I appreciated that push.

Caribbean Location rich in vegetation with very green gardens and palm trees on the beach. Nice sandy beach. In The water there is some rock and some seaweed; Pay attention. In addition to the international resort there is a Veraclub with restaurant, bar and Italian entertainment. Very good animation guys! Excellent accommodation also for children with Baby Club service. Good cleanliness, maintenance in standard, kitchen appreciable with variety of choices. There are also some thematic restaurants available on reservation. Possibility of excursions in the sea towards islands and beaches or on land at a time of the capital or of suggestive destinations of the interior.

Horrible! As a Dominican I must say that their service was unprofessional and shameful. They definitely need to remove a few stars from their logo at the front desk. As I walked into the room I booked I found a dirty ripped up mattress next to my bed… the fridge wasn't stocked and when I asked the lady why she laughed and said you only get 2 beers and a soda… So much for an all inclusive stay huh. The cleaners took forever and I asked for a water to take my medication and they never brought it to the room. The only thing they delivered fast was the boot to the ass letter stating to be out by 12 or you get charged. The staff at the front try to talk trash in spanish about the clients which I found completely wrong. This location needs a big facelift. And to think I was planning on having my wedding here. I have pictures of the ripped up mattress up under their photos scroll through take a look.

Before you book at Be Live Hotel Canoa read this*** We booked our 4 night 5 day trip through vacation express and for the most part we had a positive experience with the company but I will never again stay at Be Live Hotels. When we first arrived and got to our room, our room was not the cleanest. I wiped down most of the surfaces but my Cleaning wouldn't change the rusted lamp shades, the dinge budget motel curtains, the broken sliding glass door, or the mold growing in the shower. Then upon our first morning my friend became ill. I went to the desk to get medicine for him because nothing was open yet. The front desk was not helpful but gave me the wrong opening time of the only store that had medicine. So my friend was in pain all morning long throwing up. Then the toilet broke and it took 3 hours for someone to come fix it. He then told us to just not flush any toilet paper just to throw it in the trash. That's gross and unsanitary. I then come back to our room door completely off the hinge. It took 3 phone calls and one angry visit to the guest services desk for them to finally send someone up to fix it so we could make our dinner reservations. Then when I woke up the next morning I noticed under the pillow cover was black spots… disgusting. If that's not enough to make you not want to stay there here's more. The staff was rude. Even when we tipped at the bars we still didn't receive good service. The swim up bar was a joke and there was rarely a bartender there.

PENSIMO, bad, from punta cana hotel us change for this, the attentions of the horrible, horrible food (no range) we had VIP headpieces and the only place where attended us well VIP pool a young man named eddy and kequi (excellent service) in the area of the buffet when the Group was having lunch we asked napkin and the waiter in an arrogant manner led many saying! so not to call me again more!. The rooms we had booked twin only had a bed and we had to sleep together, the hotel only added to that block had two bed rooms, lamentablemnte this hotel was the worst.

What a pain in the butt. A few hours in and we already wanted our money back. Check in time is at three o'clock the, it was 4:30pm when we got our room keys. The rooms and hallways were dirty. The staff quasi helpfull, a person in our group got yelled at by a bar tender, and when we asked for a supervisor nobody showed up. Food sucks, as well as the services by the "waiters". My 9 year old son got served 3 alcoholic drinks. The pool closed early, and so did the small beach. Overall it was a really bad experience, if you have an option of going to another resort DO NOT hesitate taking it.

It is a wonderful resort with an excellent staff and a super nice, has a beautiful landscape that make you feel in a tale of adas. I hope to return soon visit it they love.

Hot water didn't work for several days. Rooms were poorly insulated, so temperature control in the rooms wasn't very good, which makes it difficult to sleep if you prefer the room to be colder. We had to move our bed in front of the A/C duct in order to sleep. Other than the rooms, the rest of the resort was amazing! Great beach, lots of activities, beautiful pool, bars were spread out nicely and the drinks were great.

The facilities are 5 star The staff is very helpful and courteous 4 stars The security is excellent 5 stars The food is 3 star at best — all 3 people in my party got loose from eating My wife left her wallet with money and credit cards at the beach over night. Security returned it Not a dime missing! Good prep is a problem — maybe because I'm from NY but we witness cross contamination while cooking. So far the restaurants other than the buffet where not great either Mylos — inedible Brazilian — old food only place open from 3-6pm Buffet — be very choosey; many things made with too much oil; witness chicken cross contamination Japanese — too much oil Like many 3 world countries the food prep & service needs refining.

The animation team of the hotel is very friendly strive all in full swing that people feel comfortable and fun have.

I see that the chain of hotels BeLive is a shame. This is the second worst hotel that I've gone, the first is also BeLive (hammock) chain.
We did a family-friendly gathering because it is supposedly good, but not…
-We arrived and had to wait almost an hour to give us rooms
-Rooms were badly distributed, while we send an email with the names of people who would be together with couples with young children… Had teenagers with double bed and a cot rooms, rooms for couples with babies who had 2 beds and cots.
-The food was to choose 2 options: extra salty and seasoned, or tasteless.
-We ask for one of the restaurants to celebrate a birthday, but only stopped us the buffet and that guy so very pretty… And discover your definition of "very nice" is different from that of the rest of the world.

AWESOME vacation… We stayed in the VIP section of the resort. The staff was truly outstanding and treated us with the up most respect. Our meals at the restaurants were planned by the staff and was excellent. I recommend that you upgrade to VIP and ask for Espinosa, he will hook you up. Love all of the Be Live Canoa staff. I look forward to a return visit.

This is the worst hotel in the world bad administration in housekeeper, there are never any towels not cleaned well … when it rains is the worst thing in my room the toilet suvio arriva is iso a disaster I said to the maid, and neither case, I put we hotel not silve I would not recommend it to anyone…

We just got back from there… The only bad thing that I can say is that the internet is terrible. You have to pay for Wi-Fi and that is just not right. Then when I did pay for it, I wouldn't get a signal. Other than that, the staff was great, the service was great, the food can improve, but it was to hot to eat anyways.

I liked it a lot, but I like more the canoe I q ire in December, good wi fi have in room v. I. P and the pools very good q I liked most was the yacusi should put more animators like in the canoe and more games.

Previously we had been and we loved it! That's why I've recommended to many friends. Now it we liked it a lot… the bad thing is that the animators already do not animate enough to not interact with people. Their activities are fomes… the dj of the disc puts music repeated… only the day Saturday was wonderful. The rest of the days fome : (. I can say for the waiters … very good especially Stephen's at the buffet! A charm a great person, congratulations for him… because he knows serve and please the tourists!

The hotel is very good, large, clean, and variety in their meals, the employees are very pushy in offering their miembresias to the point of ostigante. The pool is gigantic show-super. I recommend it and with pleasure would return.

In general a very good place in the Caribbean, hotel grande comodo, with some of the shortcomings such as lack of towels, safety deposit boxes large chains do not come here if, Wi-Fi, have to give any time at no charge, excellent care of Mr. Chef Ramon Lebron, my lady needed a diet hard work because of your illness, this Mr the very well attended with his best smile (super professional) and the Sta Light Bethany, loving, I will come back.

The price of the hotel is good, but the service is far from being good. The problem lies in the lack of employees who suffer the place. My family and I watched as the employees of the buffet were tired, because it was overwhelmed with the amount of people that had. The public baths are something old, I convendria better. The meal should have more variety, and better quality. Everything else is fine.

So I do not have to re-write this again, let's just say this was my message to Groupon as this was the WORST RESORT EVER: I have used Groupon several times before and have NEVER had an issue. I haven't complained before so this should find you surprised and a matter to be taken very seriously, as I never do. However, I feel this needs to be addressed and removed from Groupon ASAP. After waiting for two years to plan my vacation time from work, I decided to buy a Groupon for an all-inclusive caribbean vacation via Vacation Express. I have been to one before using a gifted Groupon so I knew what I was getting into but never have been treated this way in my life. To briefly summarize what I call the biggest vacation nightmare of my life, here are some issues my partner and I both had while visiting with our Groupon: -Tarantula in our room -Could not get someone to clean our room for two days -8 hour wait period to get towels (could not even shower) -Bugs in our bed (I had bites all over me) -Our pillows had mildew on them -We booked an excursion through the Totruga company with the resort and they stranded us on an island, we had to hitch a boat ride with a native to get back.

Are very desorganised please guys make sure you read these tips I have for you. 1 — Dont over sell the rooms. — I spend 3.5 hours to get my room. 2 — cook more variety of food. 3 — Dont sell the beds around the pool for 5 dollars. *firts time I saw it in a resort. 4 — please make sure you have enough towels we spent 3 hours trying get towels.

We had so much fun with the best animation group … that makes the resort even more important the names are Leonardo dicaprio … Christopher … chokolate… mandy… escobydoo… chicle… tuti fruit … Luisa… fido… EL GUPI.

We were at the beginning of June 2015 here and everything has us very well fallen, the plant, the beach and especially the staff, cordial, courteous, and wishes were immediately fulfilled. And the staff is the worst! they are always with their carota and not serve them well! that or the service of water you put on the table to one! in restaurants, there are no napkins, nor manteleria and much less cutlery and apparently the draw on Sunday,,, It is a shame because the hotel is located in a strategic area and with very good view but its management is not functional!

I liked Nothing, worst hotel l have ever been to. Bad service, bad food, not enough plates at the buffet, couldn't make a reservation in any of the restaurants. 1 star is to much for this hotel.

The hotel has good things and bad things, how good your landscape, your personal the bad thing is that they are all safe 5 dollars daily, Wi-Fi according to the hours you want to e. G. 25 hours costs 40 dollars and you have to fill in about 6 days, then expires, the worst thing is that we need to by an accident in a catamaran of a wheelchair and charged us $ 10 daily rental. I'm trying to figure out if my daughter went yesterday to the hotel. Call three times and leave me hanging. The truth or are poorly trained or simply don't care a whistle to treat the call from the outside.

Not a 5 star hotel. Not recommended! the only things to 5 stars are the garden and kitchen varied and satisfying. The rooms are not very clean, towels and sheets are stained. (Sheets get changed in 12 days). Beach clogged by hundreds of empty loungers that impede the passage and pollute open beach. Wi-Fi is chargeable, not acceptable from a 5 star hotel. The worst: front desk staff is rude, unprofessional and inept. A problem occurred with the reservation that the property was not the payment despite having us regulate the hotel reservation voucher supplied to us by the Agency have not lifted a finger to resolve this problem, they teased repeatedly and made us live 4 days of stress and bad moods. We had to we fix it with expensive and numerous phone calls to resolve the situation. Apologies for their incompetence in finding our reservation, were inadequate for the heavy damage that they caused. If you want a Council does not rely on this property, a vacation is supposed to be a moment of relaxation and harmony, not a continuous stress and teasing.

Best hotel on the strip, great service from beginning to end.

It wasn’t our first vacation in Dominican but this one was the bad one. We arrived on Thursday June 19th, 2014. As we recognized later the resort was just half occupied, but we had to wait for our room ready till 4:30. Nobody told us that there is renovation in the resort. We are not young people, and we don’t spend all day on a beach or around the pool. Both of us like to have a rest in the conditioned room in the middle of the day with a good book or having nap. But the machine’s noise from outside made this totally impossible. The food in the buffet is good, not delicious but good. We like to have diners a la carte, so I tried to make the reservations to 5 restaurants a la carte listed in the resort. First of all you have to do this only for the current day; second – not all restaurants open every day; third – the Mexican and Italian restaurants are not a la carte, there are the same buffet, just not in the main buffet place; forth – you have to pay in Dominican Gourmet restaurant; and fifth – there are prefixed dinner in Japanese and Dominican Gourmet, you don’t have any choice as per menu they offered. And last thing I would like to share: we’ve never met bar service likes in this resort. Nobody offer beverage on the beach and around the pool. You have to go by yourself to the bar. At late night there are some waters in the bar next to lobby, but wait time is the minimum 15 min (this was record for us). Nobody changes ashtrays, and so on.

Excellent hotel and first attentions.

Dream location on the Playa dominicus and the National Park del EST. Very quiet in contrast to Punta Cana. Beautiful turquoise — blue sea and sandy beach. But not top of the service. Would go back due to the location and the rest, not more easily found in the Dominican Republic.

Went on excursion for the day. We felt like we were imposing on the employees when trying to get service. One was even downright rude. Beach was ok — — not the best or the worst and the resort was pretty. But the service will be what I remember. Won't be going back.
