Great budget option. Feels a little cramped at the start but is cozy after. Breakfast is extra but is spectacular and unlimited.

If you're thinking of visiting Copenhagen, avoid the Hotel J. R. N. Y.! We arrived in a group of 10 people and were crammed into a sort of dusty corridor with exposed water pipes and rusty bunk beds leaning against the walls. Worrying hygiene conditions, common lager showers and rude staff. Really terrifying.

Kept Well, clean, great central area.

It is cheap and very well situated. It's close to the metro to airport and almost everything too visit. But the rooms are a little bit dark, you have to pay for the bed clothes (not included in the price), and the check in is so late, you have to wait until 3.

This hostel has two kind of accommodation for the same price, one is correct, the other is just terrible, small rooms on the basement with no air, very few shawers ans toilets. I had both and I dont understand how Booking com can accept bookings in this hostel.

Simple hotel, central located with friendly staff. The room was small, with a large bed. Bath and toilet very small. Breakfast is enough. Highly recommended for a short city break. Q.

Staff unkind and careless. Room is unbelievably small, with old furnitures and so noisy. Extra charge for sheets. Showers dirty. Similar to London hostels. The only good thing is the location. I would never recommend this place.

Everything seemed OK, the price really cheap, the reception, the breakfast Super, the room clean, the beds of the dormitory a little wobble…
But the communal showers were dirty and poorly ventilated filled with flies or moths because of the humidity. That's too bad.

This just a place for sleeping, if you are expecting more than that then it's the worst place! Pros: — Near to everything Cons: — Sometimes it gets so noisy as each room might have up to 10 people! — From my point of view it's so expensive and you have to pat additional money for the bed linen! — I didn't like the bathrooms! Personally I don’t recommend it at all! That’s why I give it 1 star.

Heat, light and flies do not bite. (The truth is, I was here at the end of winter… The flies have not woken up yet…)

High stairs, with suitcase hard, but overall not bad.

Very good place to stay with a welcoming receptionist. They have locker facilities inside the room and even outside the room. Check in is at 15:00hrs and checkout at 11:00hrs. We reached in the morning and the let us leave our luggages into the locker room (we need to have our own lock in case of valuables). I was happy with their service expect one. They have not mentioned that we need to have a bed sheet and in case we don't have we have to rent one compulsorily. And they charged for it. It was a very good stay with decent amenities for the price we paid.

Location was good, but the manager of hostel was very rude, not answering the questions or giving any kind of assistance. We reached before the check in time, we asked for a favor to which he denied, then we asked to keep our luggage just, to which he denied too rudely. Well, when we were done with our stay, we calculated the amount was lower than the one that rude manager had calculated, we then pointed out his mistake, only then he tried to lower his rudeness from his face. He was not only rude to us but before us there was another customer, he was being very rude with him. I'd recommend because of him.

I stayed at the hostel, in a mixed dormitory with 6 beds. It was fairly clean. Very good position. 3 minutes to the tram station. Staff very polite and nice.

We were 2 of us, "slept" here for a night. TERRIBLE experience, was the night of the 04/02/2018. In The HOSTEL side. I'll start from the good point: 1. Close to the city centre. That's it. Bad points: No linen included, pillow very thin, literally you sleep on a piece of wood! Don't forget to bring a mattress with you because what they give you is as think as a slice of cheese! You will wake up with pain everywhere! For the shower yu have to go underground and go through a really cold area. The receptionist (a guy with blondish coloured hair) very rude and wasn't willing to give you any direction or showed us where the room was as it was very confusing. We stayed in much much better places that this. Overall, don't even take this place in consideration to stay please!

The position is quite comfortable, but the rooms and facilities are very very poor. There is no real bathroom which could have been ok if this were properly furnished. But unfortunately it all looks like it were gotten from a landfill.

Recommended hotel for students who dont want todo spend so much money.

— The guy at the reception was super rude and even trying to scold me because he couldn't find my name on the reservations. (night shift guy) — There is no shower in the room, also in the corridor because the one at the corridor is broken. So I needed to walk out and go to other connected building to take a shower. — The shower is super old, dark, hardly works. — Hotel smells like a coop.

This sort of hotel would recommend it just for the location because everything else is to fail. I had a room with shared bathroom and shower, in the room there was a tiny sink useful for minimal basic housekeeping. What about… very small room, smelly and not really clean, basic furniture and uncomfortable bed. And I lay a pitiful veil on the breakfast… impossible to have something like a coffee, impossible to have something like a brioche or a decent biscuit. And by the way the price paid for this hotel was anything but cheap. In conclusion, apart from the central location I was unable to find other merits for this hotel. You have the choice.

Really good for the price, ideally placed in the center of the city towards Les Halles, just 2 steps from the subway that goes to the airport. Room with toilets, very comfortable bed, nice staff, varied breakfast and the little Plus, a space with anti-theft to leave his suitcase and stroll light on the day of departure.

Was halfway clean. 12 man rooms but otherwise fine:)

Overall, good value. Great location. However, room was incredibly hot at night.

The worst hostel, I have ever stayed in. Its not worth that 30€/night and you need to pay additional 5€ for blanketsheets. Rooms are very small and you can hear every movement in the bed. When we wanted to leave our luggage for a few hours in the hotel we had to go to even worse underground, where alnost every lockers were broken and to lock your locker you had to pay another 5€ for borrowing lock. The worst experience ever.

What a joke! I got bedbugs which bit me all over the body while staying at this hotel and when I complained to the manager he just smiled! He didnt even attempt to apologize or try to compensate somehow for the incident. Plus the area is very noise at night. I will never stay there again.

Good location, but breakfast, rooms, staff and the hostel was on minimum level. Price and quality did not match at all. (96e/night)

It's a basement and does not worth the money it cost, seriously put another 10 euros and go somewhere better.

Hotel was fine and quite good for the price. Just not safe to leave your valuable stuff.

Staff incredibly unkind and careless about doing his job. Just said to read a note with the rules. Also never ever heard before about a place where you have to hand in the keys all the times you leave the hostel! Room wasn't that one shown on the picture, it is unbelievably small, with old furnitures and so noisy from the street. Also it wasn't specified in the booking that you have to bring your own sheets or you get charged for them. Showers are just gross (see pictures). The only good things are the location and the safes you have either inside the room and outside in the lockers area. That's all really. I would never recommend this place unless you're desperate.

Location was nice, the room was old and in need of renovation. The old spring mattress was not very comfy. One of two the tiny showers was not working. Breakfast was basic but good.

Good: location and spacious rooms where I was well located. Bad: no toilet and shower, these are located on the floor. Very noisy, could barely fall asleep, but there are earplugs at the front desk. Not for no reason.

This is an awful hostel. The dorms are cramped. The mattresses are very thin. The bed linen is old and does not feel clean. The dorm window opens onto a very busy street and is therefore very loud. The bathroom and shower facilities are very poorly kept and often not working. The ladies showers are in a very scary area; where one does not feel safe. The hostel seems to be poorly run and organisiation of dorms and beds is not good.

Very basic hostel rooms, could be cleaner. Needs more sockets in rooms. Staff not overly friendly. Need to pay extra for bedding. Awesome location.

The staff are rude. They don't even know what GREETING and WELCOMING means. The place is really dirty and horrible! (Did anyone seen the women showers downstairs? ) The only good thing, is the location… Seemed to be in a horror movie!

Shabby little place, feels very worn out. Staff were friendly and tried their best but this is essentially a hostel with a few hotel rooms attached to it. Staying there on a business trip was a big mistake, I got the impression they felt the same way.

Budget accommodation for an expensive city. A little careless and fair comfort rooms (there are hardly any lockers or bedside tables/racks where to place things), but is used for a few days.
Hygiene regular: for five days we cleaned the bathroom to fund only two times.
Downtown (will be all sides walk) and family air.
Breakfast simple but effective: If you like the breakfast European normalito (bread, butter, jam, cereal, milk, coffee, etc. ) not salts with hunger to the street.
Wi-Fi free although sometimes of quality regular.

A good site economic and centrally located. The bunk beds are a bit noisy, but it rests well. This near the station master of Nørreport.

Very cheap in Downtown Copenhagen.

Uncomfortable beds, it has no kitchen and charge you until the sheets! (for more this say that they stole me absolutely everything entering my room and at reception or even bothered to look at twice the camera security. Never more)

Bear mind that it is a Hostel. In this regard it is a nice and cheap accomodation in Demark's beautiful capital city.

Worst hostel I have ever been in. Very crumped and flimsy. Submarine has more place, especially in shower cabins. For the price of 24-27 euro per night it is more than disappointing. If you have to choose this "hotel" I give you one advice — pavement is better choice. There is billard for kr 10 per game, which isn't mentioned in description. Wi-fi is extremely slow and loses connection. There is no power plugs in there as well. I highly dissuade this place. Tl:dr — expensive, shitty, overheating, extremely overcrowded, Wi-Fi sucks.

DO NOT go to this hostel if you don`t like moldy showers, musty cellar rooms, grating beds! we stayed in a two bed room for over 67 euros and it was like 5 m2 small. The showers are on the floor in a small room with an area of under 1m2. If you look up to the ceiling you will find loads of mold and stuff. Also the smell isn't that nice if you know what I mean. if you keep going on through the house and you find the cellar you will think you are in a ruin of what used to be a house somwhen. The locker room is musty, nearly all lockers are broken, the paint is crumbling away of the wall. I don't know why there are no health controlls of the government — they would NEVER pass. in fact the only positive thing about this hostel is the real good breakfast and the friendliness of the receptionist.
