Had dinner here, nice area outside at the back, it wasn't heaving with people. Service was therefore fine, friendly staff. Ordered fillet steaks, prices were fair for the cut, however I did ask for a rare steak and got a very overdone piece, I wouldn't mind but it was very chewy, I'm fairly sure it wasn't fillet, to make things worse we were given no steak knives! And in this case we would have been better off with angle grinders. Regardless it was not great and when you pay for high end cuts you at least want to enjoy that! Wouldn't return for the food it was plain average and in this regard it was disappointing also.

Great hotel with a great location in the centre of Ribe, perfect if you want to explore the city by walking. Parking was the public parking spots that are within a ten minute walk, this was not ideal for us since we had a stroller and suitcases it was a little hassle but if you can travel light without strollers you will be absolutely fine.
It was a little unclear where our room was in the hotel since the doors were all open of the rooms so we didn't understand but found out eventually. We got a very big room that had a very cosy interior in Danish style. Beautiful windows that had a beautiful view on the church of Ribe.
We didn't know there wasn't an elevator which was also not ideal with the stroller. This hotel is not recommend when you are a wheelchair user.
We also found forgotten underwear from another guest in the bathroom closet so I guess the cleaning could be a little better.
Overall we had a great stay, the atmosphere of the hotel and room made it a very memorable stay and the reason of 5 stars, that and the location.
