This is a really charming place! The 17th century building shows its age, in a quirky though still graceful manner. The food is delicious, and the portions are perfect. I love the whisky beef and the tiger prawns, and I'm looking forward to testing new items on the menu on my next visit.

This place was very cool! We LOVED Ribe. Although we had a little trouble finding this inn. It is literally located in the circle (center of the town by the church) but we drove around on the cobblestone streets like fools for about 35 minutes trying to find it! We regret not trying the food here. We ended up eating at other really good places in the town but would have liked to try the food here. To get to the guest rooms, you have to climb up these super steep stairs through an old wooden door! I basically shoved my backpack up the stairs and climbed up! The bed was comfortable and while the room was rather primitive with communal bathrooms, we liked it! We would definitely stay there again. It was packed with character and the back courtyard is so peaceful and adorable. Lots of low ceilings in the doorways so watch you head! We would definitely recommend.

The restaurant is located in a very old building and the interior makes you feel like you been transferred several hundred years back in time. Traditional danish food is served by service minded staff. Dont exspect an avanced meal here though. Choose this restaurant because of the special atmosphere.

Excellent food in really idyllic surroundings (we sat outside in the summer). In fact, there is one point less for the somewhat overburdened service — it would be a good idea to have extra staff for peak times — and the rather "spicy" prices, which are not inappropriate but nevertheless conspicuous.

Very nice building and atmosphere. Waited 35+ min for getting a menu, we feld quite ignored, after 45+ min we just left. Waitress walked in and out the room several times but only when another waitress appeared after the first 35 min we got a menu, after that, nothing… Apparently they didn't want our ~30 euros for apple pie and drinks (expensive! ).
