Very good location. The best thing is the great staff at the reception. They always help me with smile. They have warm hearts and know what the hospitality is. I deeply appreciate their kind attitudes. I have been traveling around, but their services are the best ones in the world!

Only spent 1 night here as was on business. It is in a great location, the room was very nice and enjoyed time at the bar in the evening. There was a very extensive choice of breakfast too! Couldn’t find anything to complain about.

It's always a pleasure to visit Grand. The service could be improved slightly though. It lacks a tiny bit of personality.

Great hotel with a great gym, good food and a nice room. Nice to finally be at a hotel where the gym wasn't made for people that don't work out. Big weights and good equipment.

After moving around looking for a homely hotel, this was finally best hotel in town. Very pleasant stay and would highly recommend.

Distinctly average. Handy location but incredibly noisy. No air con in rooms so if your window is open prepare for no sleep. Asked at reception where I could get a coffee (I meant in the hotel) and was told ‘along the street somewhere’. No drink facilities in room, or fridge. 1 pillow size of a flannel. Tried to order room service at reception (from employee who was actually eating at the time) and was told none available, despite info in room to the contrary. On the positive, breakfast was lovely that’s the only reason it got 2 not 1 stars.

Stayed in the hotel as was competing in the town. The hotel room was nice enough and the staff were great. However the room had not air conditioning and the noise in the evening and mornings from bars/night club and delivery lorries was terrible.

In the downtown and close to the main tourist attractions in Odense. It is a historical building and I not recommend if you search for a corporate stile. I loved the restaurant and the bar.

Very good historical hotel in the heart of Odense, nice breakfast and comfortable beds, nice and quiet for travelers.

Honestly, I had slightly higher expectations. The room was clean, but the iron was worn out and the small samples of cosmetics in the toilet were used. Also, it seems that the "premium room" is just a simple room with extra coffee and tea. On the bright side, the staff was helpful and the breakfast well served.

Grand Hotel in Odense is a Landmark of the city. Quaint and elegant combining the great history of the hotel with modern amenities and design touch. Wonderful, and highly motivated staff giving great service and advice. My room was clean, great bed and nicely decorated bathroom. I’m coming back for more!

Excellent cosy hotel in the heart of the fascinating city of Odense. The service is very good and the personnel is friendly. The theatre, arts museum, the town hall and significant historical places are only metres away. The spirit of H. C. Andersen is all around.

Good location and nice rooms. 'Green' hotel which is great. Everything you need in the room and breakfast is included.

Great bar and breakfast. Hotel has a lot of character. Rooms are well appointed but could use a little updating while not losing the classic charm. Overall a great place to stay.

There is something about this hotel, especially the building as such. The rooms need maintenance and upgrade to match the hotel's rating. Last year the building was nicely restored. Hopefully the rooms will follow soon.

Loved staying there, even though it was only for one night, it was good. The room was perfect, the staff was really nice and helpful. But they could have more channels on their tv's.

For an Odense visit you won't find a better location. As a hotel I would give it three stars but the historic buildings with a touch of decayed elegance gives the fourth. Big rooms and beds that would make even an American satisfied.

No warm welcome! The most important was the credit card for the possible withdrawals from the minibar.
Despite the large tour group, the arrogant receptionist demanded check-in from each individual. He then fled. That is not possible.

Nice, clean rooms. Gorgeous building. Fast, reliable Wi-Fi, good location, staff is kind but go out of their way to not be helpful, which is unfortunate.

Wonderful hotel, but just pray you don't end up with one of the adjoining rooms — the walls are paper thin, so the people on the other side sound like they're outside your door. Even normal conversation will keep you awake.

Nicely located and friend staff. Room was relatively small though. If you live on lower floors you'll suffer from the noise from nearby eateries.

Rooms are alright, location is great, but the bathrooms are tiny and the showers cannot maintain pressure or temperature, not to mention spray water all over the floors. Breakfast is quite nice, staff are very pleasant.

Excellent service in a lovely hotel. Great staff. Go for a double-bed room — it's actually two full-singles put together, making a king sized bed.

Within working distance from it all. The rooms has nice atmosphere and comfort. The reception is forthcoming and friendly. My choice again next time.
