Nice hotel, but they have no trash bins in the rooms, so if you enjoy living with your trash on the floor, it's a good place to stay at… Hopefully they change this soon.
Also no fridge available anywhere in the hotel, so forget about keeping fresh food…

Very beautiful hotel. Lots of old heritage building in the vicinity. Maybe it's normal in Denmark but, no free parking 😅

Hotel in a central location in Odense. We had an accessible room which was a good size and a well thought out bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Gym was basic. Parking available nearby but very expensive.

Its my second times to stay this hotel, but before im using travel and this trip use cars.
For cars the park is quite expensive at least around 150 denmark you need to prepare.
But the location is really good near H. C anderson home and really at the center of city.
Easy to stroll around with just walking only.
Easy to look for nice cafe and restaurants.
Room also quite big. Breakfast also have so many options. And dont forget they also serve fresh apple local juice which is delicious and I love ginger turmeric shoot which is really cool.
They serve eseential oil hair and body but I think too dry for hair. You can also buy it. If you like it.

Petty cool hotel. Each room door has a book title from Hans Christian Andersen written in the door.
Also, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. It had many great options to choose from and the ambience was wonderful. I'll definitely dine there again the next time I'm in Denmark.

Our room (#219) was on the ground floor, right next to the bus parking area. Lots of noise from idling buses, occasionally drowned out by bus passengers rolling 50+ suitcases along on top of the cobblestones.
Parking is DKK 45 for the first hour and then it goes straight to DKK 150 for 24 hours, go figure.
The lot is located under beautiful trees that sprinkle the pavement and cars with resin (in August). It sticks to your shoes like glue, and we had to drive straight to a car wash to get the goo off without ruining the wiper blades, i. E. DKK 90 on top of the DKK 150 plus the EasyPark fee of DKK 14, a 33 Euro nightmare.
We won't come back.

A perfect city hotel with parking directly next to it (€20/ DKK150 per 24h). The rooms are all named after characters in Hans Christian Andersen's fairytales. The breakfast buffet, in particular, is excellent.

Nice rooms, outdated bathrooms but everything clean. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and the hotel has a good restaurant and casino as well. It’s in the heart of Odense, walking distance to everything worth visiting. It’s in the end of the shopping area that is the old part of town with its beautiful houses and close to the H. C. Andersen museum (50 meters).

Great location for exploring the city. Nice lobby where you can take a work meeting. Nice and helpful staff. I've visited multiple times and it's been great.

There was a mistake in resrvations (probably due to mismatch with business reservation portal, not their fault), I had a confirmation but there was no reservation in their system. And hotel full booked due to some conference in the city. They managed to arrange a room at another hotel nearby and offered some food and bewerages while waiting for arrangements. As cherry on top they escorted me to the another hotel.

This hotel has received a much needed shot in the arm since being taken over by the Comwell hotel group, where previously it had languished under the Radisson brand. Rooms have been spruced up, cleaning is more thorough, the reception staff are welcoming and effective. Breakfast, in particular, is excellent, with a wide variety of well tended fare on offer, including ginger and lemon shots, a waffle maker, fresh rye bread, warm pate, fresh bacon, sausage and egg, and an array of cheeses, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The hotel is in an excellent location — I enjoyed my stay.

Here is the parking situation. Don't try parking in the free above ground spots right behind the hotel. They are too small and always full with people who are just going to see H C Andersens house. The hotel doesn't stop that. Instead, drive around to the front of the hotel to unload your luggage, and then use the parking garage next door. The hotel will not cover that cost, but it is better, especially if you go to the second level down on the right. You have to register your license plate and a credit card to park, and then put in your license plate again to leave so you aren't overcharged.
The room is mediocre. The beds are Danish standard, nothing special. If you like sleeping on a narrow, wobbly board you will enjoy them. The rooms are a little more spacious (but not much) than most in Denmark. There is no cooling, only heating. When I got into my room the temperature was over 31 C, that's getting close to 87 F.
No, the radiator was not turned on.
I'm sweating too much. My room has a window I can open looking out at that ridiculous parking lot. It doesn't help much.
Positives, this is one of the few hotels of about 12 that I've stayed in Denmark on this trip that has a bath tub. I'll probably need it to prevent heat stroke.
I would gladly exchange this room with its tub for the smaller room at Hotel Europa in Aabenraa that had a cooling system with a thermostat.

Bad experience.
I booked a room almost two months in advance. The booking was confirmed by email. When I arrived to the hotel the receptionist told me that no rooms were available. She told me that she tried to call me (I did not have any calls). The explanation was that the "system did a mistake". They arranged a room in a different hotel but the room was close to the railway/tram tracks. I visit the hotel very often, but I think this is the last time.

Lovely hotel with warming brick interior and friendly staff.
The room is spacious and very Scandinavian, bathroom was clean and fresh.
The bed was nice and pillows are comfortable.
Breakfast was very good! Really standing out, scrambled eggs are served in small glas jars so did the cooked veggies, lovely!
Also there was danish bakery fresh made!
Very central as well, nice 2-3min walk to many stores, restaurants and cafes.

A nice hotel — perfectly located in the city and a good and nice room. Bed sofa for kids was big enough and comfortable. Arrived late so stay was short. Room was modern and well designed. Lounge area was cozy and welcoming. Socializing in their "living room" area seemed to be very tempting. Breakfast was good enough. Warmly recommended.

The hotel is having a quite good location. It seems to be an older building but the rooms are fairly fresh and modern and seems to have been refurbished within the last few years.
Check-in and out was super easy and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was the standard Western breakfast buffet, but it was quite nice and had a decent selection of options and tastes.
It's a good hotel if you have business in Odense and need a place to stay for a night or 2.

Great location, spacious rooms and great staff.
