Hotel Odeon

This hotel is perfectly situated and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room service is helpful and the room is small but cosy and quiet. While breakfast wasn’t ideal for Canadians/Iranians due to the salty butter, not as sweet jams and Danish bread, I haven’t encountered any other issues. It’s highly recommended for anyone looking to be close to literary attractions and transport links.

An exceptional stay during my seminar! The service was top-notch from start to finish, with incredibly welcoming staff whose smiles radiate genuine positive energy. It’s truly refreshing to see that there are still places where courtesy, kindness, and professionalism are at the heart of the experience. Kudos to the entire team for this rare and precious human touch.

Stayed here for 3 nights with work a nice modern hotel with great friendly staff the hotel is within 5 mins walking distance of the main town and station! The rooms we had were small but ample for our stay the room was clean and had everything I needed the bathroom was small but once again spotlessly clean and had everything I needed! The breakfast selection was good I am a Vegetarian and had a good amount to choose from only hot food available for me was scrambled eggs which was fine at least there was a hot option! We used the bar which was friendly and the bar staff were very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the local beers! All in all a safe clean and friendly hotel.

First experience with hotel odeon, was when checking in the lady at the front desk informed that merely putting one wrong number in on my license in denmark. Has harsher penalty than car theft or break and entry would get you in canada. Then I searched my room for the universally standard shifty little mini fridge, they the. Told me at the front counter only rooms that get any kind of fridge at the hotel odeon are the suites.
So she proceeded to quote out how much to upgrade to a suite, considering I had already paid for 3 nites at their hotel. So she told it was essentially 10, 000 krone for 3 nites.
So I had already paid for 3 nites which cost less than 1000 Canadian dollars, so she said if I was to upgrade to a suit for 3 nites it would be an additional 2500 canadian. Then later my gf told me using the hotel odeon website it was just over 2000 Canadian for 3 nites.
So the hotel staff was willing to charge me an extra 2500 Canadian for 3 nites to upgrade to a room with a mini fridge although I had already paid for 3 nites.
On top of that the restaurant hc by Meyers is not open on Sundays and onto of that their internet is incredibly bad, my ps portal keeps losing internet merely sitting idle on the home screen.
Only reason I gave them a decent review on service was bc the older lady that checked me in was very nice and friendly. Highly recommend you not stay at the hotel odeon don't be as disappointed as me.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Odeon and would recommend it to anyone visiting Odense. I arrived before check in and they allowed me to store my luggage for free. The room was spacious and had A/C. The bathroom was also quite large for a European hotel. They provided basic toiletries, a hair dryer, and plenty of towels. The breakfast was delicious and probably my favorite part of the stay. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The location is within walking distance from the train station and city center.

My sister from the UK and I from Germany spent two days this week at the Hotel Odeon in Odense. It was a wonderful experience. We had a standard room each and they were clean, comfortable, well equipped and there was no noise from outside the rooms. The staff were marvellous, full of energy and good humour. The restaurant was so good that we took all our meals in the hotel. Breakfast was great with foods for all tastes and dietary requirements. The Brasserie had lovely open sandwiches for lunch and dinner in the restaurant was innovative, tasty and the portions were good. Great wines. Also, this hotel is right in the centre, on the tram route through the city and a short walk from the Hans Christian Andersen museum which was a delightful experience.

The Odeon Hotel in Germany offers a 24-hour reception service, which is a definite plus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We were initially disappointed with the small bed and single duvet in our room, but the kind receptionist promptly upgraded us to a more suitable room.
The rooms themselves were pleasant and well-maintained, just wish the TV had better chanels or that I could get the casting to work. The breakfast buffet was quite impressive, offering a variety of delicious options. However, we were somewhat inconvenienced when the restaurant was closed, and we were asked to relocate to another area.
Overall, the Odeon Hotel is a decent choice.

Spent one night on a business trip.
Located nicelly close to station and restaurants.
Hotel was quiet. Lobbybar was great and good place to meet fellow travellers.
The room I stayed was clean.
Breakfast was good enough for my taste with bagels, coffee, bacon etc.
Lift in lobby takes you directly to underground parking.

Very nice hotel a short walk from the main train station (tram available). It has a very nice breakfast available. Modern and next to the Hans Christian Andersen interpretive center.

I stayed at the Hotel Odeon while in town for a conference. Rooms were clean. Decor was pretty modern. Staff was great. The breakfast is a nice bonus. Super convenient location. Close to the train station and a few local attractions that are work checking out. Would definitely stay again.

Bear in mind this is among the most expensive hotels in Odense, then you would not expect a room so small that it could at best be meant for a single person when you book it for a couple. But that explains why I had to get extra bed linen from the reception and make the bed ourselves. The soap dispenser was broken, the air conditioning insufficient, outside noise barred opening the windows, wall-to-wall carpets are good for clogging your sinuses, and did I forget about breakfast — yes, and that's a good thing.

A very good experience on the whole with attentive staff from the beginning.
Fabulous decor and a great location within walking distances of everything you need including all major public transport.
My small critiques would be based on being a business traveler alone and probably not of much importance for tourist or couples/families.
For me it’s a solid 4 star with only minor tweaks to the room needed to be a 5.
The safe is so tiny that anything more than a phone or passport is unlikely to fit. A safe big enough for a small laptop is a must when travelling frequently for work.
No fridge in the room isn’t a huge point but again it was missed.
The Wi-Fi has poor connectivity in the upper floors and corner rooms meaning most congregate in the lobby on laptops.
However a very good hotel and I would certainly stay again even with the above points.

A fantastic hotel in the middle of the town. The rooms are very comfortable and were absolutely clean upon arrival.
But let me point out the outstanding welcome at the reception. There was a very nice and friendly person welcoming us. This was a fantastic experience on friendlyness and customer orientation. I can definitely recommend this hotel and I will plan my next stay in this hotel when coming to Odense.

I had a terrible experience with Hotel Odeon in Odense that I want to share to warn other potential guests. I booked a room here well in advance through Booking. Com for the night of August 17-18, but when I arrived at the scheduled check-in time, I was informed that my reservation couldn't be honored due to a "mistake. " The staff claimed they tried to contact me, but I never received any messages or notifications — neither in my email nor on Booking. Com.
The hotel staff then told me they had arranged alternative accommodation at a different hotel. They claimed it was consulted with Booking. Com. However, the first hotel they sent me to had no knowledge of my reservation, and I ended up being moved to another even worse hotel with a dismal 3.6 rating on Google. The room I was given was tiny, smelled bad, and lacked basic facilities. Despite my Genius 3 status with Booking. Com, I was treated with complete disregard.
Hotel Odeon showed no concern for the inconvenience they caused and offered no proper solutions. They basically told me to "take it or leave it, " claiming that all other hotels in the downtown area were fully booked. Tired and without other options, I had no choice but to accept their awful arrangement.
If you value your comfort and a stress-free experience, I strongly recommend avoiding Hotel Odeon. Their lack of professionalism and customer care is astounding. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

We travel around Europe quite often and usually book modern hotels in big cities, as these offer good amenities, service and reliable room quality. This hotel is just one of those that also has an excellent location in the city center. It is within easy walking distance to all major sights. As we were on a driving holiday around Denmark, it was also very convenient to be able to park the car right below the hotel in their own garage and take the lift directly up to the room. The hotel is modern in style and maybe not that personal, but nice and spacious.
When we visited Odense, it felt like there was quite a mix of people living in the hotel, but the reception gave the impression that they are primarily a business hotel for most of the year — something that i. A. Was noticed on the serving of breakfast (which ends already at 9:30 on a weekday! ) and which was ok but not excessively generous in its content. We were still satisfied on the whole and it was an unproblematic and pleasant stay in this very attractive and cozy city of Odense!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel!
The design of my room was stylish and well thought out, and the bed was very comfortable.
The location of this hotel also could not be better: it's in the center of Odense, only a three-minute walk to the H. C. Andersen Museum and a six-minute walk to the train station.
I found plenty of options at the breakfast buffet (included in the room price), served in the hotel restaurant. I also visited the restaurant for lunch and had some delicious smørrebrød.
The people at the 24-hour front desk were very friendly and helpful. I also loved reading the hotel magazine I found in my room, particularly the article containing staff's recommendations for places to visit in Odense.

A lovely stay at the Odeon. Extremely friendly, smiley and helpful staff. Clean smart rooms and a great breakfast selection.
