Comwell Middelfart

Good for business purposes, meetings, conferences etc even though I think that Comwell Kolding is slightly better. The view, however, is spectacular! The noise from the highway is not affecting the rooms, but if you decide to go for a walk you need earplugs.

We stayed for I night only. Thanks God. Arrived on a Sunday. Big mistake. Restaurant closed on Sundays. A hotel should not be allowed to close there restaurant when they have guests. Beware of long korridors and many steps before you get to your room. Room 62.
This hotel is only good for people that want to exsercise to prepare for a marathon. Room ok, no amenities though. Fairly clean. Receptionist very nice. Never again will we stay at that hotel.

Good hotel, large rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. It is located in 30min walk from town center, and just 10min from the sea.
There is large parking and Tesla supercharger station. What is odd, there is no kettle and or small fridge in the room. Walls are thin, you can her your neighbors.

Had an excellent time while we've been here for 2 days, staff are great, very helpful, rooms and surroundings are kept exceptionally clean and tidy. Food was excellent. Only a short walk into Middelfart, where you can go and explore.

Have sadly found both hair and what must have been bone in supposedly boneless meat.
Food does not really taste of anything.
Waiters are nice though.
Rooms could do with some repairs and care.
Door was with a hole. Radiator struggled with heating the room. Sink could not hold water.

This hotel know what customer service is thanks to Anne who helped us with some booking changes that everybody else would reject. The next day it happened again as we needed the rooms two hours longer and that was not a problem at all. Thanks for a sublime stay.

Staff is nice. The restaurant manager Martin was super fresh and nice. Food was terrible. The salad was something you would see at a buffet at your local Føtex, when they served food. The meal wasn’t hot, lukewarm. Nothing special by any stretch of the imagination. For the price I felt cheated. Breakfast was great and the room was super nice, especially the bathroom. Would never go back.

Its a beautiful location to get away from the busy city life. The rooms are huge with a good view of the new bridge. There are no options for dining other than the hotel's restaurant's multi course buffet every night so visitors must be prepared for that. I would say that the service was professional and to the point. It would be nice if the staff could have a little more warm interactions with the guests and try to help with little challenges they may be facing. I did have a very good experience where Anna gave me my room keys as I walked in to the reception for the first time. The cot I had asked for was not in the room but Anna helped to get that sorted out. We were also given some leeway to check out at 12 pm instead which was really appreciated. The restaurant staff were wonderful as well as they did their best to serve us a fine meal every time and ensure that we had all that we needed. Perhaps if anything the rooms could be improved with a kettle to boil water for hot drinks. One of our colleagues who was staying with a baby was bluntly told that there wouldnt be any kettles for them to boil water for their baby's milk. There was no follow up offer of a solution either to help the customer. That was kind of cold for a hotel staff to do. While I do think the location is good, I would not consider coming here again if I had an option. This is a great location with a potential for excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Not great value for the stay. The rooms were very unimpressive and I’m honestly surprised that the hotel is considered “5-star”. The pool had enough chlorine to burn your skin off. The paintings in the bedroom were haunting and horrible to look at. Breakfast was decent but closing at 10:30 is a bit early for a weekend. Location is nice tho but that’s about it.
