Communication. We had major airline issues and the Hotel was great at emailing us and helping us through that ordeal. The made arrangements for pickup at the airport, tour adjustments and really made the stay great. The room was amazing. King bed very large space. View of the Charles Bridge Entrance right outside our window. Nice soaking bath tub and robes to boot. The attached restaurant is great. The included breakfast was wonderful and diverse. Right on the doorstep of the Charles Bride is no joke. Perfect location. The roof top terrace is relaxing with a good view. We will definitely be coming back here for sure. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Spent 3 nights in the main hotel. Rooms were amazing & spacious. Thrilled when I opened the door to my room. Given gifts of a fruit basket & champagne by the hotel on separate days. Breakfast was cozy & charming. Dinner was 5star. Location, I think is the best in Prague. Charles Bridge is just outside the door. I returned my final night to the annex, the concierge had placed my luggage in room when I returned. The room was equally as spacious and luxurious. Can’t say enough how much my stay in Prague was enhanced by staying at the Hotel Pod Vezi. Highly recommend & have stayed at other excellent hotels in Prague. Would not return to Prague again unless I could stay here. 5

Faultless, everyone was delightful to deal with and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Can not recommend enough. Just of the Charles bridge so only a five minute walk into the old town or ten minutes walk to the castle great location, and the food is amazing too.

Absolutely loved my stay here. It may be categorized as a four star hotel but the customer service here is five star if not more! The front desk help is exceptional and they really go above and beyond to answer your questions. Compared to the many large chain hotels I've stayed in (whether Westin or Hilton) the front desk/reception here wins, hands down. The rooms may be a little old but in terms of location (literally next to the Charles bridge) and service, you really can't get anything better than this.

Great location. The staff were very nice and attentive. Rooms are nicely decorated. The restaurant has wonderful food. Only downside is the A/C did not cool the room enough to suit us. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Celebrated the first two nights of our honeymoon here, it was OUTSTANDING. They treated us to a suite upgrade, mid-day champagne and macarons, and coffee and crepes when we checked out! The complementary breakfast buffet is also fantastic. A perfect visit.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They answered any questions we had about Prague and the city. The rooms were cute and quaint. I wouldn't recommend it if you like modern amenities, but if you want someplace with old charm and a perfect location then Pod Vezi is the place for you!

Great food at a restaurant right by Charles bridge, the food was absolutely delicious, but the service was not as we would expect from a hotel restaurant. Most of the waiters could have been a lot more attentive, which was a shame. Once seated it was a while before our order was taken. The bread only came just before the starters. There was only one set of cutlery which was taken away after our starters. Once the mains arrived, we had no cutlery. As we had ordered steak I asked about getting cutlery to use. We were on a table for 4, so it would seem the waiters were assuming that we would use the spare set, without informing us to do so beforehand. Or even knowing that the set was also used for steaks.

Very cared for in the details of the environment, classically retro.
Kitchen with a few dishes but quality, mainly related to Czech cuisine.
Impeccable presentation and effect.
All very good.
Hard to err, all very good.
Menu in many languages (also Italian! )
Not to be missed.

Stay here — don't even look anywhere else. Amazing hotel. Location is fantastic and this area is far superior to the other parts of town. The hotel staff are exceptional in every way. We stayed in both the hotel building and the independence and loved both, probably slight preference for independence building because of the privacy. The breakfast is delicious with lots of choices. Staff were the friendliest we encountered in Prague. I want to go back asap! Thank you!

We just returned from a trip to Prague and stayed at the Pod Vezi. I don't know where to begin… this was truly one of the nicest hotels I have ever used. The location is wonderful — right at the end of Charles Bridge. They are next to a tower with amazing views and as guests there, they give you free passes. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to give us info about the area. There were chocolates and bottles of water in our room as we arrived. We paid a small fee to have them pick us up from the airport. There was a slight mix up with the number of people in our group so the driver helped get 2 from our group into a cab. It was a great fix and really no big deal to us but Eva, who is at the front desk and the most lovely person, did hand stands to try and make it up to us… champagne sent to our room with the BEST homemade Linzer tart cookies, complimentary schnapps at our first dinner along with one million apologies! The complimentary breakfast was perfect! A buffet filled with eggs, meats, pastries, fruit smoothies, cereals, make your own waffles, fresh fruit, etc, etc. We had a very early morning flight home so they packed us each up a breakfast to go! I never wanted to leave and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Pod Vezi for an amazing stay!

Very nice and reasonably priced hotel.

Possibly the best place to stay in Prague! I stayed at the hotel in March 2016 for about five days. The location is brilliant, rooms and the service is impeccable. I loved every bit of my stay here. The room had a beautiful view of the street and it was spacious and clean. The food was sumptuous, and hotel has two different restaurants to choose from. Along with this you get a free pass to visit the tower, which has a awe inspiring view of the bridge and is perfect for sipping a glass of wine during sunset.
The staff also made sure that I am comfortable and surprised us everyday with complimentary goodies in our room, and every evening we would come back to a bottle of Champagne, basket of fruits and chocolates. I would definitely visit this hotel again. Thank you!

A wonderful restaurant. Have been twice. Recommend.

Very nice situated next to the Lesser Town Bridge Tower and the end of the Charles bridge. Service is good, food is great, wines are average. Overall not enough for the highest mark, but getting close.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the hotel location great, staff warm and friendly, full of goodwill. Breakfast of course was great! And the hotel, the restaurant is also decorated very beautiful, where we ate in Prague best meal. In addition, the only small flaw is the room sound insulation effect is not how, I can hear the next room people talking, it's like they're sleeping in our bed. However, maybe the other rooms would be different. Next time in Prague I'm sure I'll still be living here, strongly recommend Oh!

We arrived late in the day to the Hotel Pod Vezi and decided to eat at their restaurant. My wife picked the venison goulash and I close the spaghetti carbonara which turned out to be the best spaghetti carbonara I have ever eaten. The food and service was so good that we returned the night after with my wife choosing the Czech duck dish and I chose the carbonara again which was as satisfying as the night before. My wife loved the food and the service was great with prompt attention and a great view of people walking to and from the Charles bridge. The pricing was great with a discount for those staying at the hotel and the staff were always friendly (why can't Australian staff be this friendly? ). We'll be returning to Prague for a longer time in the near future and I suspect that we will eat most of our meals at this restaurant.

The location of the Hotel Pod Vezi is fantastic with easy access to many of the sights of Prague. We only stayed for two nights but enjoyed everything about the hotel from the service, the staff, the room to the food. Upon arrival we were shown where to park and information about Prague by a very helpful member of staff who imparted a lot of local knowledge. Every time we asked for advice or help the staff were only too willing to help even with tickets for the trams. Due to the time of our arrival we decided to eat in their restaurant and the food and service there was excellent, it was so good we ate there the following night. Breakfast was also excellent with equally good service. A 15% discount is offered in the restaurant to hotel guests. Our room was in the Annex on the fourth floor so required a walk up some stairs as the elevator only goes to the third floor, the room was large with a queen sized bed, a single bed, separate area with tv, table and cupboard and a bathroom with walk in shower. Two small windows gave a view of the courtyard below and the main hotel and the side lane. Little gifts were left each day and upon arrival like chocolates. The Annex also had it's own Crepe Cafe and whilst we didn't visit this there were always nice smells emanating from there. We'll be returning to Prague and will definately be staying at the Pod Vezi for a longer time as we enjoyed it so much, without a doubt this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at.

Quite upmarket and in a busy, popular spot but prices were reasonable for the good quality food served here. We enjoyed perch and they were happy to swap chips for the usual accompaniments for one of us. Lovely desserts as well. Well — recommended and should probably reserve a table in advance to be sure.

We had lunch at this restaurant and it was really good quality specially considering we 've opted for the lunch menu. Great value for the price!

Really nice hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are comfortable with strong Wi-Fi signal throughout. We had bed and breakfast and weren't disappointed. Breakfast is a good spread with a lot of variety. The location really is excellent with Charles Bridge within spitting distance. The palace is a 10 minute walk. There's a small supermarket nearby and nice restaurants and pubs. I'd highly recommend Lokhal Inn for a beer and bite.

Fantastic rooms, superb location and friendly atmosphere, previously stayed at the Pariz, this was better.

You can not detest, I will come back some day and recommend.

Food is perfect and good decorated. Trufel ravioli are divine. Homemade sorbets are tenderly fresh. Waiters were nice but seem tired… or lazy, but friendly and polite.

What a perfect hotel from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. So happy that we researched well and settled on this hotel. Walking distance to all attractions and just a stones throw from Charles Bridge. Great service, staff and food. Great value for money too! I recommend booking direct through their website as they look after you very well. Try the restaurant too we had a fantastic meal on the first night.

Excellent value for money.

The hotel is right at the Charles Bridge, in a quiet location. Rooms are cozy, beautiful, with a twist. Breakfast is freshly squeezed juice. In the room (suite) 3 places, there is a Nespresso, very spacious room. I really liked it here! still available from the trip quality mark advizer 2014.
