I recently stayed at this hotel with my tour group. The location is great! Very close to the mall and Old Town Square. The rooms are very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom had great lighting and was spacious! The service was very good. The breakfast buffet was delicious in the restaurant and I enjoyed having a drink in the lounge area!

An excellent location. All the tourist's objectives are easily accessible from M Gallery by Sofitel. In locațion everything from reception to housekeeping, waiters, very nice and professional people's. I highly recommend this hotel, we had found an absolutely great hotel, very clean room, with terrace, fabulous breakfast, 4 stars + services. I will definitely return to Prague at the M Gallery by Sofitel. About Prague, I can say only that I would never forget this city and for sure deserved to be seen at least once in life. I already miss Prague ❤ Thank you M Gallery by Sofitel for the lovely time spent in Prague!

Hotel is well located, although not actually in the old town, close to a metro station and several tram lines. The building is very beautiful from the outside and offers nice high ceilings on the inside. Rooms are of a good size for a European city and nicely decorated and furnished. The bathrooms are a bit small for a hotel of this caliber. Everything is perfectly clean. Front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff all very friendly and professional. A delight to interact with all. I had breakfast included in my rate and it offered a good selection of hot and cold dishes, including made to order omelettes. Recommended and I'll stay again when back in Prague.

Luxury hotel, stylish rooms, very cozy. A lovely breakfast.

The location is great. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. Buffett breakfast very good. Rooms very tight not enough space for suitcases etc. Bathroom way to small no bath. A large person would struggle with the shower.

The hotel is nice, clean, and bright. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and speaks English. The breakfast is worth the money, huge selection, and very tasty. The location of the hotel is great, a short walk to Old Town Square, to Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge. Tram stops and Metro station (yellow B line) are extremely close. Room is nice, albeit a little small — but you shouldn't be staying in the room too much. Parking is shared with the Ibis hotel next door and is a little pricey, but to be expected in Prague. If we return to Prague in the future, would definitely go ahead and stay here again.

Ideally located for exploring the city, this magnificent hotel — monument, located just a stone's throw from what the city has to offer the visitor, is a sumptuous, elegant and utterly comfortable establishment. Needless to say therefore that for fans of the total look looking for a trip in the past the MGallery By Sofitel is the recommended location to feel one with the place and with the culture of its people. The culture of sophistication and charm. About the amenities, all really OK.

Wonderful service. Clean room, attention to details, warm welcome, great staff. Hotel is in a strategic place, near public transport, airport express service and city centre.

To be a three star, it offers you many services. Cleanliness of the absolute room, and very comfortable bathrooms.

Was not there yet because the website did not work and by phone was just ridiculous: I called, someone asked what I wanted and said "I give you the reservation central"… After 3 minutes someone asked what I wanted… reserve a room… "I'll give you the central reservation" I put up!

My wife and I had an absolutely excellent stay here! This hotel has comfortable rooms with high ceilings and plenty of space in the main area and bathroom. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide range of meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, breads, pastries, and made-to-order items. The location is also ideal as it's very close to two tram stops and is very much within walking distance to all main attractions downtown. Special kudos to the hotel for a surprise awaiting in our room for my birthday! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Prague.

The building is old, renovated. In this building lived Kafka and the Czechs cherish the memories of it. Lots of his pictures on the walls of the hotel. The rooms are small, but with high ceilings, there is little air. Good breakfast. The location is very convenient. Near the Republic Square with one of the best shopping malls in Prague "Palladium". The old town and Wenceslas Square are five minutes away. Recommend.

Very nice hotel in the room.

Public transport very close and good location. Very good service, they are very attentive. I certainly recommend it!

A lovely hotel just far enough away from the main hustle and bustle of the city centre. The rooms are beautifully redecorated, the beds are super comfy, and the staff were always pleasant and offered local restaurants. Although we never got around to experiencing the breakfast the bar served some great drinks.

Great hotel in the centre of Prague. All of the sights are near and are easily reached by foot or public transit. Service was impeccable and very friendly. Most certainly the most friendly staff we encountered in Prague. Smooth check-in and out. Bar is small but certainly sufficient for a quick drink. Breakfast is plentiful and service is good. Rooms are of good size and very clean. Modern style throughout in a monumental building, as can be expected from an MGallery. There is Concierge available for any of your needs. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a short or long stay in Prague.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel during a business trip in October 2017. As a literature nerd, I liked seeing Franz Kafka's typewriter and office accoutrement, plus Margaret Atwood stayed here just the week before I did, after winning the Kafka Prize. (Neither here nor there, but fun if that kind of thing tickles yr fancy. ) Anyway, the staff was really welcoming and even gave me a souvenir magnet upon checkout. Location: The whole city is very walkable, but there were two great coffee shops and several vegetarian restaurants within a couple minutes walking (to my surprise). It was easy to get anywhere in the city (though I am able-bodied and relatively in shape; ymmv). Room: Bed was comfy. Room service was pretty good, and not expensive (as far as room service goes). Windows open at least a couple inches, which is awesome. View was non-existent, but there aren't many super tall buildings in Prague so that's probably not uncommon. The only kinda weird thing was that my room came with a "here are some lady things because you're a lady" basket. I didn't get a picture, but as I remember there was a mesh shower pouf, lavender sheet spray, a shower cap, chocolate. And an inspirational card about how women are powerful and they've tailored my stay by giving me a room near the door and the aforementioned lady basket. So. Being a feminist and all, I was kinda but also I liked the sheet spray, so also.

Excellent Hotel! Staff with small care, spacious room, very comfortable bedding, quality television with Ambilight, bathroom and WC very clean. Finally, the breakfast is complete and it is an understatement! Next time we return to Prague, we know where we will spend our nights! Thank you.

Nice hotel in Art Deco style, in the middle of Old Town area. With a few minutes walk you can reach all the most interesting areas of Prague or in front of the hotel there is both the Metro and the tram. You can have any kind of breakfast you want, yummy eggs cooked by the chef in the room. The staff are nice and prepared. I recommend it without any doubt.

Good central location with main tourist sights & attractions within walking distance. Friendly, welcoming staff, good breakfast selection. Only one beer on draught though. On leaving, hotel staff were able to book a much better priced taxi for the return to the airport than I got myself in the other direction.

Great hotel, very central to be able to visit the old City on foot. Very abundant breakfasts. Recommended to visit Prague.

The interior of the hotel is fantastic. Wide variety of buffet breakfast. Walking distance to old town square, power Tower. There is a tram station nearby where you can get some street food at night. Reception could be faster.

In Hab. 431 overwhelming heat, I commented on reception and the solution was to leave the window open. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The location is great. The hotel itself is very comfortable and in good condition. The staff was very helpful in reserving local and events. Clear recommendation from me.

All the services of the hotel very good in an excellent location, the room very small, the bed does not allow space to circulate, the closet is a disaster the minibar is stuck to strength within the and the only thing that manages is that all this hot or its vapors makes it smell Bad clothes. The safe is placed in the highest unreachable part. The bathroom is well installed but have forgotten that the travelers in general we carry our toiletries and there is no suitable space to place them, it is more nor where to put the amenities.

Very pleasant Hotel. Spent three wonderful days in Prague. Historic Hotel and very nice. Staff very nice and clean. Great brunch type breakfast with plenty of choice and variety from sweet to savory. Very close to the center and with about twenty euros the possibility of a car to the airport.

When ordered the stay I mentioned that me and my wife will celebrate 40 years of our weeding. I have asked for some fruit in the room when arriving. Nothing when checked in. When I told the reception I was informed by the lady that when we will return to the room we will find some surprise. Nothing at all. When checked out I was asked how was my stay and I have told the story. The guy at the reception told me that a manager will come to me when we will wait for our Taxi. Nothing again. Remark. I was ready to pay for the fruit welcome. This is not a way to treat gusts. I will sure not recommend your hotel and of course will not stay at Accore hotels in the future.

The hotel is very well located. You can really visit the city on foot and never use public transportation. The staff at the reception is a bit cold, a window is provided for Accor members but everyone can go there so no interest. No one speaks a word of French which is a problem in such a tourist city. The rooms are beautiful with high ceilings but quite small. The bedding is very good. Presence of a kettle as well as coffee bags and 2 bottles of water offered (nice attention).
The products in the bathroom are branded Lanvin.
The breakfast is quite complete with fresh orange juice, …
The staff in the breakfast room is more friendly but mostly young employees so the performance is not very high. (bcp time to rid the tables, not enough passage for coffee, …)
In summary a nice hotel well located but as put in the title, this is not a Sofitel.

Excellent location. A comfortable hotel with rooms a bit on the small side, very modern, nice and clean. Shower only. Cupboards small and only shelves available. The Breakfast is terrific tasty and with many healthy options. The staff always friendly and helpful. A special bonus — we arrived at noon and received the rooms with out delay. Very convenient to be able and pay a little extra and stay in the room till 18:00 — we had a night flight. Happy to recommend.

The MGallery Hotel in Prague is very well located. The reception is warm and the places beautiful. The decor of the rooms (I was in one of the DRC), quite masculine, is design. Beautiful height under ceiling and small terrace at disposal. The shower room is simple, efficient, no more. Breakfast has a good level of choice. The service is quality. The downside is the bed, far too soft for my liking. When the stay is of a professional nature, there is a desk missing.

From arrival to check-out, super well received. Unfortunately, unnecessary for women and the program "she" of Sofitel, hope to have hair elastics, a straightening iron etc. In reception, since apparently they were not equipped with it. Short but fabulous birthday Weekend, the late check-out was graciously proposed even though it was not respected by the room staff, but these are small details that are not enough for a disenchantment.

Great hotel. The staff was very helpful Clear prices. Clean and comfortable room Clean and functional bathroom. We bought breakfast only for one day: (it seems 19 euros) a huge choice; A real brunch. I think the building is historic, however very nice and well maintained. There is the possibility of private transfer to the airport with fixed price (about twenty euros), paying directly in reception. The Wi-Fi works very well.

I didn't originally book this hotel. I hated the hotel that I originally booked and spent the first few hours in Prague desperately searching for a hotel to move to. Hotel Century was available and so accommodating late at night as we moved. They sent us a cab to help us get from the first hotel to Hotel Century. The check in was easy and we were very satisfied with our room. The location was walking distance to all major attractions and we never used any public transportation until we left for the airport. If you stay here, you won't need a cab, train, bus or car if you plan to stay in Prague. I have a special diet and the breakfast buffet did not appear to accommodate me so I skipped it but it looked adequate for people with no restrictions. The bar was small but looked nice. There is a market just down the street and a giant shopping mall a half a block away. There are cafes and restaurants every 10 feet all over Prague so you will not go hungry even if you never eat at the hotel. I had a room with a courtyard view. If I had booked it from the beginning, I would have requested a street view. Prague is a beautiful city and it's a shame to spend time looking into a courtyard. However, we spent very little time in the room so it wasn't much of a disturbance. The bathroom was very small but adequate and clean. There were no places to unpack your bags so if this is important to you, check which room you book in advance.

The stay in the hotel was really great under all points of view. Only two negative notes: 1 °) at reception there was no mention of English and some French; 2 °) The check out was disastrous since at 1pm. 00 They turned off that electronic keys so we couldn't get back into our rooms while we could leave them free by 3pm. 00. The hotel staff was not able to reactivate the electronic keys so they had to drive us up to the room.

Best deal in town! Got an excellent deal to stay here for 4 nights on our trip to Prague. Our rate included an amazing breakfast every morning — which exceeded every possible expectation for a continental breakfast, as it included everything we wanted, plus a chef doing made to order omelets. Rooms were not huge (still Europe), but they were cozy and quiet. Bathroom was large. Everything was clean. The location was great — just a few minutes from the tram, and just over 10 minutes to Old town square. Everything we wanted and needed. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Overall good stay.
The value for money for the garage is absolutely disproportionate — waiting times for the car to return too long: and complicated procedure.

Disclaimer: I am a Platinum member of Accor's loyalty scheme and got special treatment as such; I hope this review is not too rose tinted as a result. Be that as it may, the care and efficiency with which my stay was handled suggests a very well run hotel and a team that takes pride in its work. Upon arrival I was welcomed back as a returning guest. My room was ready despite it being just after noon. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed, nicely cooled by the air conditioning on a hot summer's day. The hotel does not yet have its own gym, but they have an arrangement with a gym right across the road, which I was able to use. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The only slight quirk was the funky narrow writing desk, but even that kind of worked (despite appearances it was big enough to take a laptop). If you are in Prague on business and need to work in your room, you may wish to check with the hotel whether they can supply a more suitable workspace. However, if you are visiting as a tourist and will be writing nothing bigger than a postcard, I can think of nowhere better to stay in Prague: a comfortable, recently refurbished hotel in a historic building with efficient management and friendly staff, centrally located with easy access to public transport and a good connection to the airport: what's not to like?

Astonished by the elegant level of service at such affordable prices. Perhaps it was a fluke of the exchange rate, but I was able to indulge in previously unthinkable luxuries during my visit in March 2016. I ordered room service nearly every day, had my laundry done, and freely used the minibar without fear of financial ruin — — and the final tab for all this service was shockingly affordable. Yet despite the affordable amenities, this is a high-quality hotel with a distinctly European approach to hospitality: the staff is diligent, courteous, and responsive — — but never fawning, obsequious, or falsely sincere. And finally, I can't think of a better hotel to use as "base camp" as you explore Prague and the Czech Republic for the first time. As the name implies, it is right in the center of Old Town, which is dense with history, art, food, culture, and music. (But be sure to take a day trip to parts beyond as well, you won't regret it. )

“Great Location, Great Hotel” We stayed 2 nights at this hotel for a weekend getaway. The hotel is located very close to many historic spots. The powder tower and municipal house are at a 5min walk. Its bang next to the famous Imperial Cafe and also the Palladium shopping mall. We went there without any pre-planned itenerary. The hotel staff helped us to book city tours and concerts with the convenience of getting picked up from the hotel and getting dropped at the same place. The restaurant at the hotel is very good with relics of its origins. The rooms are comfortable and cosy. To top it all, they also provided a courtesy drop to the airport. We had to catch an early flight and we found this very convienent. Also the staff at the reception were very helpful and very efficieint. Very good value for the money and would definitely stay there again when we visit prague.

Made a direct booking via Accor for a stay fromt he 23rd to 25th of July 2015. I was really looking forward to my stay at the Hotel Century Old Town Prague. However, a technical glitch on the hotel side resulted in a unfortunate case of overbooking. The hotel was swift to move me to Novotel Prague Wenceslas Square. While I appreciate the efforts to remedy the situation, it was nonetheless disappointing as the Novotel lacked the character of the MGallery Century Old Town.

The hotel is at the level of which is stated in the prospectus. Excellent service, lovely breakfast. All very close and accessible.

Very good hotel just off Nameski Republicky, thus handy for all transport with trams passing front door. Nice lobby, good rooms and excellent buffet breakfast. Staff were universally pleasant and helpful. My room was big, at front, overlooking street. A little noisy first thing as trams start about 5 am.

Stay very very good. The decor wonderful, the breakfast fabulous, the staff friendly. Offer free Wi-Fi in the rooms is totally free, and is a 5 min walk from the old town square. Highly recommended.
