Conveniently located. I Have stayed here at least 4-5 times. I think they can use some updating in the kitchen as in coffee makers, cleaner pots and pans and better performance dish detergent. After seeing their website I realize they are upgrading the rooms but unfortunately I always get the older rooms. I hope next time is better.

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately we only just stayed the night. Would have definitely stayed longer if it was in our travel plans.

Good price, ok location and pretty quiet. Have been staying here for almost 2 weeks now but they have not changed my sheets the whole time. I have asked and still same sheets. I had to call front desk again to tell them to change them. I wish I checked when I first got here to make sure I started out with fresh sheets. Not to impressed about that. I considered washing them myself just so it would get done. I hope they at least changed them before I arrived… I also have quite a few ants in my suite that were taken care of by spraying Raid all around my kitchen and had to redo all my dishes that I just washed.

As a frequent traveler, I am very impressed with this hotel. From the generous free breakfast to the comfortable beds. The grounds offer a calming atmosphere and the abundance of staff insures a safe and clean stay. Our stay was a wonderful experience and we would recommend Suites Christina Hotel.

Nice room, we lost power for a while and no one could tell us when it would return. Not that much of a problem more of a annoyance. The hot water was great and the neighborhood was very nice.

We had several drawbacks, first the gentleman who attended us at noon, hinted to my wife that she was a lady of company, then the way to claim, was not the right thing to say, and the breakfast we asked if it was included and said if, and in the morning claim that the person wants to take the suite, and say it is a regalia, no one paid, bone zero courtesy at the time of attending…
For other than that if they have, enough privacy I don't recommend it.

Nice hotel, amazing breakfast, decent prices, good location.

So friendly, clean and the staff is amazing. Great if you need to be near the city. The only drawback is if you want to do stuff on the water or in the mountains it's pretty far away…

Perfect place to stay, cozy, friendly very clean, good food included, good relax. It's not my first time and I will be back in 6 month.

Great accommodation for dental or medical tourism. Not super fancy but has everything needed to relax and recover. Friendly and helpful staff.

I stayed at this hotel in San Jose the night before flying home. It's about 20-25 minutes from the airport depending what time of day you have to travel.

Close to the centro, quiet, reasonably priced, friendly staff, good big breakfast, nice rooms with good showers. Hard to find fault.

It is well located, well equipped, clean and is very nice. Breakfast included tasty and friendly staff. Economic rate for the service provided.

The staff is accommodating and treat you like family. I travel alone and I love being here. The breakfast is excellent and they have a heated outdoor pool.

We stay here whenever we can in San Jose! It's a great option for people traveling on a budget, but don't want go to a hostel. It's super clean, the staff is amazing, the pool is great… But the breakfast in the morning is definitely one of my favorite things! Go here!

Good location, close to downtown but quiet. Clean and maintenance crew are always busy ensuring the pace is good. The weekday receptionists were very nice and quite helpful and assisted in planning day trips and tours. However, the weekend receptionists didn't seem very interested in helping guests. The free hotel shuttle was very useful.

Wonderful hotel. Not exactly in the most luxurious part of town but if you need a convenient place to stay for an extended period of time, this is it. We were at the hotel for almost five weeks. Even during the rainy season we used the pool almost every day. The staff was very helpful and most all at the front desk spoke english. Breakfast is provided each day and is very good. There are always drivers available who are very helpful and speak english. Sabana park (San Jose version of Central Park) is very close by. The Flor de Loto is a Chinese restaurant one block away and is as good, if not better than, any Chinese restaurant in the states. We were there because we were adopting children but many of the clients were Americans having dental work done. I will definitely stay there again.

Best hotel for your buck, and only hotel in Costa Rica with a heated pool.

Another great experience at Apartotel Cristina. My home away from home in Costa Rica! The atmosphere of Cristina is filled wth Old World Charm. One couldn't ask for a more helpful staff: front desk to housekeeping. And if you need information regarding something they are unfamiliar, they will find for you! Aside from Wi-Fi and flat screened television (s) depending on number of bedrooms and well stocked kitchen! rooms are immaculate. Breakfast buffet offered daily in pool area. Generally local fare of beans and rice, fresh fruits and juices, cereal, cold cuts and cheese, scrambled eggs or however you choose! With different selections daily. Italian restaurant on premises is very good — lunch and dinner hours with room service available during such times Also, many restaurants have delivery service. Apartotel Cristina is in Sabana district where the beautiful Sabana Park is only few steps away! Great for taking a stroll, jogging, having picnic while enjoying sounds of birds singing… The Cristina is pet friendly. I look forward to returning and visiting my Costa Rican family at Apartotel Cristina : Silvia, Elizabeth, Roberta, Sergio, Alehandro, Miguel, Lorraine, Roy and the many other staff that makes it so special!

Best value in the area. Staff very attentive and friendly. All rooms are one bedroom suites or larger. I have stayed there twice and will return on next trip.

I've been researching Prisma Dental in Costa Rica for years. Finally made the trip. Stayed at the Cristina on their reccomendation. I travel for a living and stay in hotel 3-4 nights a week mostly in the United States. I picked the cheapest room at the Cristina as I'm traveling by myself and don't need much. The basic rooms are akin to a basic La Quinta in the United States. Not overly nice, but clean and in good shape. I was in room 108 right next to the pool, nice at first, but the noise from people eating breakfast in the mornings got annoying. Hot water was fine in the shower. I arrived on the morning flight from Miami on AA. The free shuttle was nice and I was able to check in 4 hours early, no extra charge. As far as location, there is a decent grocery store about an 8 minute walk away, nicer grocery store about 13 minutes walk and a McDonalds about a 12 minute walk. The free breakfast is very good. Coffee was amazing. Overall happy. Will be staying here in the future, though I may spring for a nicer room next time.
