Nice place, close to the beach, the bathroom of the rooms has an excellent size and the cleanliness is very good.
It would be great to put a refrigerator in every room, the common area is great, but despite putting the name on the drinks, there is always someone who takes what is not yours.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It really recommends everything, it is a great place full of warmth and good treatment by the staff. They make you feel like family. The rooms are excellent, super clean, have air conditioning, private bathroom, TV and super comfortable beds.
The pool area is great for closing the day with a little calm.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare food but you have a lot of money to go out to eat, plus and very important there is always coffee!
They are located very close to the
Park allowing with a little luck to see sloths, monkeys and occasionally deer…

An excellent attention from Jorge, whether the hotel is in a very good point close to restaurants, beach, supermarket and 50 meters from the entrance to the national park, the hotel very safe, comfortable, clean and is a very familiar environment where you can also enjoy the pool during the closing of beaches while night falls and thus cool off, very good facilities in short an excellent hotel, super recommended.

Millenium Hostel was our favorite place throughout our stay in Costa Rica. The biggest reason was the staff as well as beautiful surroundings and a clean, well organized room and kitchen area. We were greeted from the moment we arrived with smiles, help with our bags and pure kindness. Throughout our stay the hostel helped us order shuttles, organize trips, make recommendations to popular spots and restaurants. All the staff were so friendly and personable and made us travelers feel comfortable and adjusted.

Fantastic! We have felt ourselves very well. All the employees are super nice, the Hostel/Hotel is very lovingly and it was very paid to cleanliness — I have not yet experienced. The location is great — a national Park and public beach in the vicinity And the house cats are so cute.

Must-Read: If you have values and morality, you can not stay here with a good conscience… Why? Because the owner Alvaro exploits his own people but also some innocent guests very bad. The reason why you don't read anything about this is, because the victims just give up under the threats against them or try get help from lawyers what is hopeless as he uses a malicious legal system. So I am the first one who goes to the public with these information: But lets start in the beginning: We are a young expat couple with 3 kids and 1 baby. We visited the hostel and after some time the owner asked us if we could help him out to "survive" — and he had a very good story nobody would get the truth behind it. So we helped him with our savings (in total around $40k) to help him — we could live 2 months there as a bonus. In the beginning we did not recognized what terrible person this is: The first thing we figured out is — while his workers do not have enough money to pay for the bus or their sick parents he drives a luxury car, pays thousands of dollars for a private school for his kids and wears the best and newest clothes on the market. And this is just a small part of the tip of the iceberg. But it gets even worse: He did not care about the dates he wanted to give us back our savings and he knew it was tight for us. When I came to him and said I have not enough to pay the rent for my family, he did not give me a single dime. I had to cry. He did not care.

Love the pool area, ‘beach’ area and lots of lovely lights. The staff are so nice and friendly. Great location. However, don’t stay here if you like sleeping. One morning at 6am we woke to the sound of the maintenance guy right outside our room dragging metal across concrete (deweeding or gardening? ). The next morning at 5.30am he was outside our room again, this time with a power washer cleaning. SO loud. Hostel — please tell him not to do work outside people’s windows until an acceptable time!

Just amazing! Staff very friendly and helping, swimming pool and room with A/C, with a price sooooo reasonable. I’ll come back for sure. Thanks for all Georges :)

The hostel has a very good location since it is a block away from Manuel Antonio’s Park. However, we had a very bad case when staying there. The employee entered our room without knocking or any notice beforehand at 10AM after surprising us he answered that he was going to “fix the tv”, I asked him to leave right aways. Afterwards, I talked with the staff that they couldn’t do anything except saying sorry, when I tried to cancel our stay there they initially wanted to charge us a cancellation fee. After several discussions they allowed us to cancel our stay without charging a cancellation fee. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend.

Called and George was very welcoming, my girlfriend and I stayed in the 8 bed dorm very nice which had Air conditioning! Big plus on the AC even though its from 6pm to 6am. The common area was beautiful with a great garden and pool area even had a little beach sand area. Location was great right next to the park. Very chill environment. I will recommend this place to anyone.

I have stayed at a few hostels but this one was most definitely the best. Location wise, it is ideal to enjoy the Costa Rican community. Everything you need is walking distance from food to trinkets to the beach to monkeys. The bus stop is pretty close too and you can hop on it for other adventures. The property itself is also amazing. It creates a space for you to be outside and enjoy the Costa Rican air poolside. Everything is also super clean and well kept.
The staff was amazing. They were super helpful in directing where to go and it seemed like they actually took pleasure in helping you. One of the staff members, Rasta, actually took a group of us on a hike to a waterfall. There was no way we would have found anything like that if it was not for him. Along the way, he used his university education to point out and describe different animals. He did it all for free and seemed happy that we were enjoying the Pura Vida lifestyle. Long story short:

Wonderful experience! We traveled to Manuel Antonio for 4 days with 2 young kids, my husband, and my dad. Everyone at this hostel was so helpful and kind. I would recommend it to anyone — young or old. Very chill vibe, awesome garden, and very clean, comfy rooms. The location is great — esp with kids — easily walked to the park and the beach. The pool is awesome! They went out of the way to make our stay special — cutting fruit for us, lending us a soccer ball, and a bonfire on our last night :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hostel Manuel Antonio. The location absurdly close to the park and only a 5 minutes walk to the beach, but the grounds create a small haven from the hustle and bustle of all the people going to the park during the day. Alvaro has so much pride of ownership, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds and the rooms are very new and modern, and impressively clean. The grounds have a funky vibe with lights and fixtures created by Alvaro himself, a small pool with a fountain, and a sandbox with an umbrella and some sun chairs. When we were there they were in the middle of making a few new additions, which made us want to come back just to see them!
