The worst experience, during my vacation I stayed in Cabonas Lika and suffered discrimination on the part of the owner as it was a homophobic and did not let us stay with my partner and me in the room that we had already booked and paid von anticipation.

If you are from the LGBT+ environment avoid having a hard time, like the one we live in and don't stay in this place.

A cozy place just to spend the night there is air conditioning, there is fridge cooking, improvements would be a success the pool but to be in Puerto Viejo is not strictly necessary.

Probably the best place to stay in Puerto Viejo if you're with a group. Each room has a double bed and a bunk bed, so you can sleep four comfortably. Having the shower, sink, and toilet all separated is great when you're sharing the space as well. $20 a night with negotiable rates for longer stays or if you need multiple rooms. Everything is quality in the rooms, comfortable beds, nice shower, good water pressure, and complete and intact screens on the windows. I'd make the quiet time 10pm instead of 11pm, but that's just me.

And frankly the manager is adorable.

Great owner, very clean, comfortable beds, very secure. Highly recommend.
