Its was amazing! Family owned, very hands on, and the property is gorgeous! Javier and Julie really made our Girls Retreat special. The food was amazing and we enjoyed every minute in Costa Rica. They are close to the beach. Make sure you do ATV riding while there. I can't to return next year😊.
My family and I just got home from an amazing destination wedding at hacienda jj. Javier and Julie are amazing hosts, from delicious breakfasts to making reservations they were so sweet, thorough and hospitable! They went beyond what was necessary to decorate and accommodate four or group.
The location is central and easy for day trips to Monte Verde, Hacienda Guechepelin, and Rio Celeste to name a few! Downtown Tamarino beach is a short 15 minute drive but the kids (and adults) loved the pool area, hammocks and open grass field for playing soccer.

This place is amazing! The pictures don’t really do it justice, it’s pretty much your own personal resort. I just got home from a trip with a large group of friends and we absolutely loved it. Julie and Javi are great hosts and went above and beyond to make our trip special, they were great. Javi is one hell of a cook and fisherman, so if fishing is something you’d like to try I recommend having him take you out. He even came home and cooked what we caught and it was incredible. Lots of other things to do in tamarindo as well, surfing zip lining, lots of bars and restaurants on the beach. Can’t recommend this place enough.
