Can't remember why but in front desk they just give me a free beer. Just because. Great service. No luxuries but you get a lot for your money and people that go there is usually very polite.

Best hostel in Costa Rica and I've been to many. My friend and I took a surfcamp for 6 days but extended to 7 because we didn't want to leave. The surf teacher was super cool, his name's manuel. We also had a snorkeling trip included, but the condition were really bad on that day because the currents were too strong. To make up for the inconvenience the teacher bought us beers and took us to a very nice view point. Owners are amazing, one day I was sick and Stephanie gave me a ride to the doctor, it was really nice of her. If you are going to costa Rica for surfing it really is the best place to go. Don't waist your time, get on a plane and book this hostel. I'm going back at the end of the summer. And don't get scared by the rainy season, it only rains in the afternoon for an hour.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have classes of. Yoga among others.

The owner was pure life, the rooms super comfortable, and very well equipped, not even if I could speak badly! A good place to be and share!

Very cool hostel with top hosts! Very well maintained, lots of young hip surf crowd. In addition, a yoga/gym with courses offered such as trx, Zumba or the similar. Since the owners are French or Argentine, some of the guests are also French and as a German one should not raise the topic of the Football World Cup, where Manuel (Argentine owner) sees this pleasantly sporty:-)

If you are maybe between the age of 17 and 25 and enjoy a young party crowd this is the place for you, and it's only about a 6 or 7 minute walk to the beach, and the staff is friendly of course… However! Even after speaking with an employee who did try to help me, the Wi-Fi connection sucked on all three of my devices and I could barely use it. Also, the rooms all surround the pool and public Courtyard, which stays full of people. I am writing this review at 10:56 p. M. Meanwhile there's music blasted and about 40 people talking and singing Etc right outside of my windows, and I can hear every word as if the walls were made of paper. The room I stayed in is definitely dated. I read through the reviews on here, and the couple of people who had something negative to say were met with sarcasm & "back talk" from management, rather than apologies/solutions? To me, that seems very unprofessional and immature. I have the video of the incredible noise at such a late hour, but I'm not able to attach it to this Review. All in all, I was definitely disappointed and had an early flight. If you're in Tamarindo to party, stay here… Yes I'm on record as being a guest, and yes these things actually happened.

Nice and friendly place to stay. Rooms Ok, with air condition, fitness lessons as zumba, power yoga and others on place. Swimming pool also advantage. I enjoyed stay there.

Excellent service. Very good price. Personalized attention 24 hours. Excellent infrastructure. They clean the pool every day. The employees are very cordial. An excellent place. Highly recommended.

Really loved this hostel/guesthouse. Big, clean rooms. Excellent owner who truly understands how to make people feel welcome and comfortable. A social atmosphere without feeling like a crazy party hostel. Chill, in the pool. Very relaxing with hammocks outside every room and an open concept common area.

Very kind people. They have fast Wi-Fi and are always OK with me showing up to use it. They maintain the place very nicely: it's always clean and beautiful. Love it.

Windows were broken or missing so air conditioning leaks out and mosquitos come in. Poor maintenance and ugly in my opinion.

Excellent place, ideal for families and groups of friends. A large kitchen, along with a pool beautiful to relax. The attention is incredible. Recommended!

Visit this Hostel in 2005 and pass a great experience. Now back 10 years later in 2015 and I get a pleasant surprise! it is so far the best hostel where I have stayed. I met incredible people from other countries. Go. You are going to spend the experience of your life!
