Awesome staff! Great time as always…
We made an advanced reservation for 5 nights at Hotel Bula Bula. We arrived at 6pm to an abandoned hotel with not a soul in sight. Walked around the property calling them for 2 hours before we were forced to trek through the jungle with all of our luggage to find another hotel. On my first inquiry with hotels. Com (who we booked through) Hotel Bula Bula lied and said they "emailed and texted us to let us know they had to leave the property at 1pm". No such communication was ever received. Even so, they could have left a note/key, anything! On my second call to hotels. Com Bula Bula now claimed that "they were there waiting for us". Another blatant lie and also a change to their story. In the end hotels. Com issued us a full refund since this place couldn't keep their story straight and sold us a non-existent room.
