A super quiet place, beautiful rooms, very good food and exclusive attention.

Incredible, the reservation I had for days was modified, by the number of foreigners it is evident that they gave it to one, then they gave us a distant room, which had to be accessed by four-wheel drive vehicle, difficult access to enter and enjoy the pool or even something as basic as the restaurant. When I complained magically, two rooms emerged close to everything and now if available. I asked for a refund of my money and they canceled the card amount, but I even have to wait for the advance I made by sinpe.
I lost, my valuable time, the gas to get there and leave the place. They do not respect reservations.
Very bad experience, in life something like this had happened to me and that I do national tourism. Thank you.

Since we arrived hygiene measures were present, the rooms super clean. The food and its staff didn't even stop it. There's no complaint. We had a spectacular weekend.

Very nice location, a lots of beautiful birds to watch by the pool. Very friendly and lovely people working here, starting from the reception till the cleaning team. Clean and clear wirh a great view above the forest.
A must one's in Costa Rica.

We happened upon this place after our rental car had a flat tire and our spare was flat too. They were so very gracious to give us drinks and feed us dinner as well as help air up our spare. Amazing staff and a beautiful little resort. ❤️

No excuses, the greatest place. Service, quality, and food is awesome.

The place very nice and the treatment excellent, access is somewhat convoluted. One very long without signage and the other the road is fatal. In addition, and the EYE we made a reservation for a room with a bathtub a terrace and a balcony. When we arrived we were assigned to one without such conditions. As it was only for one night we made NO claims and we assume (bad decision) that the price was going to vary. Well no! And to finish of the tune in we wanted to pay with card, so have cash for the ride and told us that the role of the data phone was gone. Will be? Without cash, we made a rejunta to cancel. Or are the close to fatal! Probably not come back. That last part we didn'T like.

Rinconcito Lodge exceeded our expectations and we would definitely return! Pros: — we were welcomed with freshly squeezed fruit drinks while the manager sat us down to get to know us and offer some excursions. I wish we had known that the lodge had their own tours because we had already booked tours elsewhere — restaurant food is delicious and reasonably priced (~$10pp for dinner with generous portions; $10pp for breakfast buffet). Additionally, they surprised us with complimentary treats we didn’t order (they gave us salads, soups, and rice pudding) — secluded area where you can have a retreat and star gaze (I didn’t think that it was a bad thing that Rinconcito was so far away from other places to eat) — the staff were so kind and friendly Cons: — room light was very dim and Wi-Fi didn’t really work — door didn’t open very wide and the lock was finicky; could easily be broken into if anyone tried — you have to climb a steep hill to get to the room and it’s not for those who aren’t as able-bodied — you need a 4x4 if you want to drive up to park next to the Airbnb room instead of walking (we just parked in the main area and hiked up)

Fantastic oasis close to the National Park. Pool with bar and restaurant. Friendly staff. Camping for groups available too.

Swimming pool and paddling. Ideally located from the two main entrances of the Rincon de la Vieja Park. Ideal with child.

Very mixed experience…
Nice place, beautiful park, nice pool, very decent accommodation considering the price.
On the other hand, very moderately friendly staff. We had reserved a room with breakfast (but without paying in advance), and upon arriving at the lodge, we asked them if we could not take the breakfasts as the children get up very early because of the time difference (small Lunch served from 7:00 a. M. ). They did not want to remove the breakfasts explaining to us that we could come before 7:00, that the cook arrived much earlier and that he could serve us a little early. As a result, we arrived at 6:30 in the restaurant. The waitress made us a funeral face and did not greet us and the cook did not want to know and told us very dry that they were not serving until 7:00.
On the other hand, 25 euros 4 breakfasts (2 adults and 2 children under 7 years old), which is excessive when you know the price of local food. As for the restaurant (evening meal), very disappointing and not given. Very americanisée Food (USA), prices are only given in dollars.
Anyway, not Pura Vida at all!

I only regret not staying another night and partaking in their activities. We had planned to visit Rincon de la Vieja, where supposedly it closed at 4 but accepted visitors until 3, we got there at 1:30-2:00, and were told we wouldn't have time to do the whole trail. We didn't have time to visit the next day, so this left us very upset. The only good part that came from this trip was getting to know the lodge and spend the night. The people were amicable and attentive (The one waiter, Noel, always asked me if I wanted a specially prepared unsweetened drink or dessert before I even asked), the rooms are comfortable with a nice balcony, clean showers, relaxing noises (wind and birds, though for some it may be too much), good food. I definitely recommend it. If we come back to this area, I would definitely consider returning here.

The people were very friendly, and yes, those hammocks are comfortable! The local trails were very beautiful.

Thank you! The best vacation of my life! The best staff, the food delicious, the rooms spotless and perfect for rest and relaxation after the tours, the tours left us exhausted but with a sonrisota and amazing memories! We took pictures, we learned and we laughed a lot with Eifren. In the end, we spent like never before!

Good hotel. Very big and comfortable bed. Good choice for the breakfast. Their meal was good as well. Quite near to the two sectors.

This place is awesome and inexpensive the food is great and zip lining is cheap. We stayed at the hotel also.

We had an amazing zip line with horse back riding tour. We also had lunch after. Everything was great, our only regret was not staying longer and taking more advantage of the beautiful lodge and pool.

Run to this gem of a location if you are lucky enough to have the chance. Not only is the scenery breathtaking, but the staff are extremely welcoming. We didn't have the luxury of staying the night, but the individual lodges looked adorable. The pool looked amazing and he restaurant was great. We drove up for the morning for a horseback ride and zip line tour that were fabulous! Raphael took such great care of our family (which includes three young children) on our tour! If we had it to do all over again we would have included a nights stay as well, just can't say enough!

This place was perfect, the salsa was so good and the 600 meter zip line! Not overly crowded. This was our favorite place we visited while in northern Coasta Rica.

Nice and quiet, good starting point for the national Park trail starts here at the Lodge, food very good and varied, the Internet is only available to a limited extent.
