Too nice the hotel, and the thermal water pools are warm.

One of the most beautiful experience was the view from the room of Volcán Arenal early in the morning with a fresh cup of coffee in hand. That really a nice place to stay!

Excellent facilities, beautiful and well maintained gardens, as well as the rooms. The food fresh and with excellent taste.
The only point to highlight would be that they do not have access to Wi-fi in the rooms.

It seems to me that in promotion price it is acceptable, but it has few pools for the number of people they house, unfortunately the thermal ones are not very hot, the facilities are nice but you can see the passage of time in them, they could improve the maintenance of the facilities.

For a good day there is no need to leave the hotel. The place has a lot to do within its facilities but anyway if you want to do something outside they offer their services.
They receive pets, the place is to go as a family or as a couple. One hundred percent recommended.

This hotel is a joke! Beware of their cancellation policy! I was suppose to stay there March 19-23. We couldn’t go because Costa Rica closed their border. They charged my card for $1980 and they will not refund the money! Every other hotel and excursion refunded our money without an issue.

An amazing hotel that combined comfort, amenities, tours and great customer service!

The facilities were not working well, the pool master is a thermal and it was not working. They have excellent food and their employees are very kind, but I let myself down the part of the swimming pool.

Poor customer service. The person who answers the phone for reservations is unbearable. I kindly asked him a question and his answer was mocking, with no ability to explain my question. Never again.

The hotel room was beautiful and each room was its own little building so there were no noise complaints. The rooms were ice cold and felt amazing. The view was breathtaking, and the the food was also delicious. Would stay here again for a few nights!

I spend two nights at Hotel Montaña de Fuego. Their staff is very friendly and talked a lot of spanish with me, so that I could learn that beautiful language. I really enjoyed the time at the pool and poolbar and the horseback ridingtour to the Volcano Arenal.

Stay two nights here. I would highly recommend. Team spoke both English and Spanish. We did tubing and massages at the spa. Breakfast was great as well. The team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Will return again next time I’m we’re in town.

I did not stay here, but visited after a tour — the springs and pools and grounds are beautifully maintained, everything was so clean. I could see it was well run. The lodgers that we met there seemed very pleased with their experience.

This place is nice overall to stay in La Fortuna. Reasonable price and close to the city. Parking is a little confusing and the restaurant is average, but with overpriced food. If staying here and with a car, would recommend going into town. However, breakfast spread is great! This place also has several of it's own pools/ hot springs, which is nice if you don't want to travel and pay extra to visit others. There is also a convenient mini-mart across the street.

Great place for excursions, lots of tours to go on. The food needs improvement. Loved the nature trails, hot springs and pool. Staff friendly and accommodating. The micro ants in the rooms seem to be something that you have to adapt to. The rooms could use a refrigerator to store food so ants wont migrate. Overall… good experience!

The scenery is amazing! The staff is wonderful & very helpful. There's seats inside the pool for the bar. They have multiple hot springs pools. Every day they bring fresh mud that you can scrub all over. My skin was baby soft after leaving it on for a while. I suggest hopping in the hot springs pools first to open up your pores & then the mud. Make sure wash up on the shower first, if you're going to get back in the hot springs.

Nice bungalows, pool, and mineral springs. Our hot water never worked in shower. Only 2 English speaking TV channels. No Wi-Fi in rooms.

The hotel itself is nice. The room had a nice tub, which was deep, with jets and big enough to fit two adults, one of whom is over 6ft tall. The spa was also nice; the couple's massage was really relaxing and really enjoyable. The resort has heated pools and hot springs, which are nice, but often noisy and crowded. Of course, we spent much more time outside the hotel than in, so it wasn't a big deal. The resort has an AMAZING list of experiences to choose from: horseback riding (cabalgata), ATVing, ziplining, the Maleku tribal experience, hiking, trips to Cavernas de Venado, and so many more. We did everything and still didn't see everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, and most are bilingual. It is helpful to speak Spanish (sometimes their English is not rock solid), but they make the effort to make sure the message gets across. The bartenders and restaurant staff were fun and entertaining, and the food was pretty good. Very interesting and typical of Costa Rica. I'd recommend to a friend.

There was No light to enter the rooms at night or to the hotel itself. In the spa there was water coming from the lights shorting out. The rooms were not very clean. Although the bed and rooms of the upper bungalow were nuy comfortable. Very friendly staff. The thermal pool did not seem thermal, but heated.

Individually detached 1ner or 2 in 1 bungalows sorted by category and from the "Superior rooms" quite modern equipped. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast above average, hot springs available for splashing. The special thing about the plant, however, is the associated jungle plant through the small paths leading through. Here you can observe wonderfully all kinds of animals!

Great resort, with fantastic views to the Arenal…

First of all sobregiraron my card xq did not know to use the option to rate 0, I had to call the bank and ask you to x please meet the call that I made to my phone that will fix the problem, because to you it never occurred to them to call the bank. Then we got the water in the sitting area of the room, the jacuzzi x but that fixed it did not work, then we look forward to 40mins at the reception desk to tell us that there was no tour to the farm, only xq the lord is not presented. And What most disappointed me were the delivery times of dishes in the restaurant, I saw several couples annoying it including, the food is very rich but, last too long. From then on out the place is beautiful and romantic, the staff is very friendly and helped my boyfriend with the details of the proposal of marriage, even the champagne was courtesy of the hotel, however, should improve in many things.

An area to spend it peacefully, beautiful views of the Arenal volcano. Ideal climate.

Except the restaurant, the staff and food from the restaurant only are horrible. There are plenty of great food restaurants in the area.

Very nice hotel. Offers many amenities, including a mud bath. You have a great view of the Arenal Volcano. The breakfast was the best we got in Costa Rica. The prices for the dinner are moderate. From 19:00 pm there was happy hour for beer and a free appetizer to eat.

Excellent Stay in Arenal! Away from town, but quiet and peaceful. Standard bungalow had direct view of volcano. Rooms were spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Porch a nice touch in the morning while having coffee.

Very nice room, clean, scenic area near Volcano Arenal. Good restaurant. Nice jacuzzi. Two things prevented me from giving it five stars. 1. No Wi-Fi in the bungalows. You can get the Internet, but it's only 2G. 2. Nice firm mattress, but no fluffy mattress topper.

My boyfriend and I came here with his cousin and his boyfriend who recommended this place after staying here for their honeymoon years ago. We were very surprised as how nice it was when we checked in. Unfortunately we came late so we didn’t get to take advantage of everything the respite offers but we did stop by the hot tub after getting settled. The room was clean and everything was very well maintained. The shampoo and soap smelled fantastic and I wish we had more time to stay. The rate was reasonable (I think it’s different for locals). We would definitely like to come back next time we come visit Volcan Arenal!

In this resort you can stand it very well. We had a house with bedroom, living room and bathroom. A kitchen is also available. The complex has a swimming pool and a thermal bath. There are various treatments available in the spa area. There is a restaurant. For breakfast there is a rich buffet. W-Lan is only available in the reception area and in the restaurant. From here, in favorable weather, has a wonderful view of the Arenal Volcano.

The Hotel is especially nice and ideal to rest. The cabins are integrated into the surroundings and have a view Of the volcano. The walking tour allows you to see animals and the surroundings of nature in all its splendor.

Arenal a beautiful place. The Hotel is like to go to sleep and go out in the day to venture into the surroundings on your own, if you miss keeping the hotel. Breakfast is the same every day. It Is Nice place to merely rest.

Nice Hotel. Friendly Staff. Even If you get in they try to sell tours. Dark Standard Rooms. We Had a water leak and were moved to a better room. There is No Wi-Fi in the rooms. And in the restaurant it didn't work. Intolerable in a hotel of that category.

The Hotel is in a privileged position to observe the Arenal Volcano. It Is A very nice and clean resort. It Has several swimming pools and jacuzzi for guests, volcanic mud bath… The bungalows are comfortable and very clean. You Can leave the car next to the bungalow. The staff is very nice and willing to content the customer. The only downside is the breakfast buffet, it's little varied, and you don't notice quality in the food.

We have been on two occasions and have booked two rooms for every opportunity. On the outside everything well, beautiful vegetation, the pools ok. However, the problem comes when you enter the room. The first time we stayed in a deluxe garden. Very nice, but quite old furniture. TVs are not screens. The beds rang all night just breathing. The air conditioning was damaging. The second time was worse because we stayed at a standard. The wood on the floor was in bad shape, plus it was a scandal to walk because it looked like the wood was going to fall out. The TV was still not screen. However, the worst was when it rained. The room had several leaks, two of them I
They fell in my face getting wet not only to me but to the bed where I was supposed to sleep. Another fell on the table at night where his cell phone was on and dawned wet. There was another one in the bathroom, so the floor dawned wet and slippery. When we called we were told they had no staff and even the wet sheets changed. They didn't clean the floor wet either. I wonder, even that couldn't be done to make amends for a terrible night?

Excellent to connect with nature and enjoy taking care of the environment. Located in front of Arenal volcano is wonderful, the view and space of hot springs and a jacuzzi volcanic.

Tourist beware. The steakhouse had one option for steak. They will say that you are getting churrasco and they will give you loin. They will cook the meat to the wrong temperature. That is after you get your meal in pieces. Mashed potatoes came at the end of the meal. Meat was tough as can be and the chef came out to show it was lomo yet it was sold as churrasco. I would never come here again.

It was ok, the restaurant is overpriced I suggest going to downtown La fortuna and eat otherwise you will be broke, am not amazed with the lobby staff they need to learn what costumer service means we ask for a free transportation they offer it never happened even thought the lobby girl offered everything else it's just ok!

Really good hotel to stay with excellent views to the volcano, I don't give a 5 out of 5 because the restaurant seems expensive for the quality or quantity of food. I also had a noise on the AC that didn't allow me to sleep the 1st night, I report the issue at front desk and this night I continue with the same issue and they gave me no feedback about it.

Cosmic needs very much improvement inside and outside. Personal employees are the best very seen anywhere. Restaurant quality is very good great . Their house hospitality is also top of line. Prices suggestions shop around. I love this place but needs to make improvements.

Must change them tables and chairs of the terrace of the restaurant, are all despintadas, old and all uneven to the point that is move from a side to another, also the floor this broken and there are flies. They should add an air curtain and sieves. Thank you.

Close to activities, good food, close to waterfall, volcano and hiking.

The hotel is ideal. It has a forest where you can relax and go for walks on horseback while you see all the flora and fauna of their environment.
The staff excellent. Give memories to our guide Merlin we will never forget.

Inappropriate tour guide: This review is for the horse back riding tour. Our tour was set up by Montana de Fuego, the hotel we were staying at. There were a total of 4 of us on the tour, one couple and myself, along with another girl. Our guides name was Alexander. Throughout our two and a half hour tour Alex kept grabbing our hands and telling us things like "you have my heart" in Spanish. We both asked him to stop. He began talking to us about how he loved our small waists and thought we were so beautiful. It was extremely uncomfortable. We rode down to a river where Alex kept asking us to jump in with only our underwear on. Again, telling him to stop and again, him continuing with his disrespectful, disgusting, sexual comments. Because of this alone I would never recommend this resort. To be so far from home and to feel so threatened did not make for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation like we had planned.

The area is beautiful. Wi-Fi in rooms really needs to happen.

There are No words to describe the experience of being in a natural paradise.

Simply wonderful! We enjoyed a lot in the trails through the forest, the ride by the river and relaxing in the thermo mineral waters. I recommend you to apply the baths of clay volcanic free.
