I stayed here many years ago and I want to go back again and again! We had a suite with an amazing view. The waterfalls in the springs are so rejuvenating and inspirational. The food was out of this world. The treatments were over the top great. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It seems super pristine and beautiful. Everything about the suites and spa along with springs and landscape are heavenly!

It is so lush and I feel like I'm in Jurassic park. Unfortunately the weather has not allowed us to see the volcano but I know it's there. Loving the tropical rain. Hope to get a glimpse before we leave. Beautiful, relaxing place! Great service.

The Arenal Kioro has beautiful suites with the volcano right outside of the huge windows. Paths take you to the hot springs, the pools and restaurant. We loved the place as soon as the reception where we were greeted with a drink and assistance driving to out place and help with luggage! This is a lovely, wonderful place to stay!

By far the greatest hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. My best friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time here. We don’t have a single complaint. Room was amazing, food was delicious at both restaurants on the property, views were spectacular, spa services were incredible, and so much more. Exceptional service was given by everyone we encountered. This was my first time in Costa Rica and they made a truly amazing and lasting first impression. Stay here and you will be so glad you did.

This place is fantastic. All of the staff in the hotel made you feel welcome and valued. My only not so good experience was at the spa. I was prepared to get a bunch of services but the lady really gave me a bad impression and I changed my mind. But everything else was simply fantastic!

Hospitality, affordability, thermal pools on the premises, great food. Just a few to name. One needs to visit to experience the beauty and tranquility of this place.

A relaxing and luxurious hotel in separate buildings in a gorgeous part of Costa Rica. Each room with a view of the Arenal Volcano. Beautifully landscaped. Multiple hot springs created down the side of a hill where water can flow from one to another. Above the spas are a pool, tile hot tub and an open air bar serving delicious cocktails. Did I mention the early wake up sounds of the birds and insects that make the forest their home.

Best hotel ever with the best view! The service is great they have transportation for you if you need it. They also have tours there for tourist if you like to take them with the hotel. They provide a free facial if you like to take it. They provide breakfast is delicious typical Costa Rican food. I wouldn’t doubt staying here again definitely a 5 star.

This place is awesome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with views of the volcano. The grounds are beautiful and have great paths for walking. Free breakfast is included and is excellent with a wide variety of options. May want a rent car as the hotel is a distance from town.

This place was great. Everyone was helpful and spoke both Spanish and English well. I wish we had stayed here longer.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The landscape surrounding the hotel is colorful and beautiful and is a reflection of the local area. The view of the volcano is spectacular from every point in the complex. Highly recommend if you’re coming to this area.

We enjoyed the hotel a ton. The rooms had amazing views of the volcano and even had hot tubs in the rooms. The grounds were beautiful and the on premise hot springs were relaxing.

This was our last stop in Costa Rica and it was perfect. We used the laundry service so we didn't have to take dirty wet jungle clothes home. The room was cool and the bathroom was beautiful. We loved it.

We stayed at 4 different hotels in Costa Rica and this was the best of our trip. Loved that they had their own thermal spring spas. They have 6 or so that are connected and of various sizes so whether you have a small group or a large group you can have your own spa. So much better than going to one of the nearby public thermal spring spas that you have to pay extra for. They have bar service at the spa as well.

We loved our time at Hotel Arenal Kioro! The staff was helpful and hospitable, and the property was beautifully landscaped. We saw many birds, and the signage next to the flora was excellent in helping us to know what we were looking at. The hot springs at Titokú were a bonus and I recommend the free shuttle ride there if you have time. Nice and private!

Kioro was a really nice experience. Really recommended if you like one romantic place: this is the closer place facing the volcano. Thanks Jhonn for all your help, I will be there soon.

Great place indeed. The staff is helpful, the grounds are amazing, and the room has huge floor to ceiling windows with a patio door. It makes for spectacular views every morning.

Lovely location and setting. Hard to imagine you are really at the foot of a volcano in the midst and mist of the tropical rain forest. Landscape and planting on the grounds is breathtaking. People of the Resort are wonderful and enjoy aiding you in anything you need during your stay. Hot spring pools are enough motivation to want to return early each day and absorb the warmth of the water deep in your bones. It is a refreshing location!

Very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful location. Hotel staff is great and attentive. It is a little older and shows in some areas, but overall is updated.

We loved every moment here! The staff was friendly and so kind. Our welcome drink was delicious, as was the food! Our room was great and we had a majestic view of the volcano. Who could ask for more?! The hot springs were okay and the pool could have been bigger/better. The shuttle to town was great to have. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Top notch place to spend the weekend! The hot springs on the property are not very hot, but their hot springs that are located off site are fantastic! Food there was nice and the rooms are very comfortable an upscale.

We loved our stay at Hotel Arenal Kioro. The property its located central to La Fortuna town and Arenal Volcano. The staff were welcoming and helped us with any questions we had during our stay. Every room has a view of the volcano, which is very mesmerizing. Our stay included breakfast, which is served buffet style, with the following options of made to order omelets, fresh local fruit, cereal/granola bar, rotating meat station, and of course plantains! Our room was very spacious with a separate seating area, balcony to watch the volcano, comfy bed, and hot tub. The room was very clean and we were always welcomed back to our room with an animal formed towel. If we come back to La Fortuna, we will definitely stay at Hotel Arenal and highly recommend it to all our friends and family.

A very beautiful resort with a great staff and local food menus. Different from the large resorts. This has a great family atmosphere.

Amazing spot with perfect volcanoe overlooking. They keep the gardens well maintained and the in house (artificial) thermal pools keep you most of the time in the water. Waiters could use a refresher in 1st class cust service as some do tend to be somewhat careless when servicing.

Fantastic views to the volcano.

The Arenal Kioro is a phenomenal resort for your stay in the rainforest. Our third floor room was HUGE! The view of the volcano greeted us as we woke up each morning. Usually shrouded in swirling clouds, the final morning revealed the clearest look at the volcano of the entire stay. While eating breakfast on that morning we just stared out the open window restaurant and admired this magnificent feat of nature. Surrounded by lush greenery and amazing flowers and plants, this location is a paradise you could easily get used to. Can't rave enough about the amenities and staff. Highly recommend and anxious to go back. Thanks Kioro!

Excellent hotel! The view to the unique volcano … the hot springs are not so good.

I opened my room door to a 20 foot ceiling, a complete view of the volcano and the jungle! (Room 1204) All of the staff were so so kind and helpful. The restaurant had some of the best food I've ever had in my life! Although I did not see any monkeys, I did see armadillos, snakes, plenty of beetles, mosquitoes, geckos, and butterflies. The hot springs and views are all breathtaking! It was very hard to leave this rejuvenating and relaxing space.

I recommend doing the tour of the caverns of Venado, it was fascinating.
The only negative point of my visit was the fact that I stayed 4 days and did not see the volcano once, but that's not the hotel's responsibility, so don't get it under the stars.

There aren't enough positive things to say about this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived to the day we left the staff overwhelmed us with welcoming arms and incredible hospitality. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. You feel like you're in your own little private oasis. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The room was spacious with impeccable views, the spa treatments we received were the BEST we've ever gotten, the food was superb, and the overall experience was just amazing. We will DEFINITELY be staying here during our next trip to Arenal!

Beautiful hotel, upgraded features. Conscious about the environment. Have to enter room key to activate electricity in the room. Could not be closer to the volcano. What is better than that? Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Coasta Rica!

Awesome nature centered resort Even had cat eyed snake in our room one night.

Wonderful experience. The rooms are fantastically designed and have their own cultural accents and hottubs. Additionally, the maids make adorable oragami like figures out of the towels. The entire hotel has a great view of the volcanoe and is embedded in the rainforest. There are paths from each room to the pool, hot springs, spa, and resting areas. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the town, La Fortuna. The only downside is there are only two restaurants at the hotel that are both not that good, so definitely go into town for meals.

We had a great time at Kioro. We had a second floor room right above their beautiful garden with full view of Arenal (on a clearer day). We woke every morning to birds and jungle rain. The food was wonderful, beautifully prepared and presented, with great flavor. Even though we came to a resort for the resort experience, it would have been nice to have more locally inspired dishes to choose from. There was a lot of pasta and bbq ribs on the menu. It was still lovely, though. The service was spectacular, the best we've had in Costa Rica. Everyone was attentive and most importantly, nice. The power of a genuine smiles goes a long way. Booking trips and tours was a breeze and it felt very natural and efficient. It was a little more stunted and awkward at the other resorts we were at this trip. Kioro made it a great part of the experience. The Kioro hot springs are the best we've seen. They really blend into the garden and give that jungle experience while soaking. Great bar/lunch restaurant by the pool. Great service. Quaint little romantic dinner room apart from their main dining hall. We had a lovely dinner there on our last night at Kioro. This was a great way to begin our Costa Rica adventure. We definitely plan to come back to Kioro next time!

The view of the Arenal Volcano is simply sublime. If you go to Costa Rica then at least to spend a night in this hotel. You will spend a moment on another planet and you can hardly then back down.
