I want to recommend 👌 this magical place, super quiet, very nice rooms, clean, very nice trails, behind there is a beautiful river, 100 meters river Fortuna, the very friendly administration guys Leo took us coffee ☕ to the river bank while we did a morning walk, Friends come to know this beautiful place, near the center of fortune, we hope to return soon.

This weekend we made the decision to stay (my family and I) in this impeccable hotel and honestly it is difficult to see a hotel in the great conditions and with a customer service as exceptional as this.
We love going to La Fortuna and have stayed in many hotels in the area, however none as clean and as comfortable as this one. And with the added value of being in a property where you can enjoy a very clean river and with an access suitable for any age. Truly SUPER recommend!
By the way, THANK YOU for the delicious fruits you gave us this morning! ☺️

Looking on the internet for a place to sleep one night in La fortuna de San Carlos, we find Cabañas del Río, a place that far exceeded our expectations in quality, attention, comfort, price.

Very nice rooms. We rented a three bedroom with the kitchen and living room and it was very portable. The staff brought us a bowl of freefruit in the morning. It is the only place in Costa Rica that came with the hairdryer. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is fantastic! My kids were thrilled to stay and the beds were huge and comfy. Everything is so clean and smells fresh. We even had fresh fruit in the fridge. A great place to stay. Definitely would recommend.

Very friendly host. Everything is new and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a little trail in the back off the garden made with love next to a little river. You can see frogs, spiders and a lot more. Perfect for families.

Very nice apartment! The apartment was very clean and had a full size kitchen. Also the apartment is very close to a nice river.

Friendly staff. They allowed us to check in a bit early. They stocked our fridge with milk and juices and our kitchen table with fruits. Gorgeous pathway in the back yard that leads to a river. Lots of frogs around.

I loved very well equipped, excellent cleaning, very comfortable and comfortable. The paths and garden beautiful!

The rooms were very clean and had plenty of space. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is perfect — just outside of the main traffic areas, but only 5 minutes from the city center by car. Looks can be deceiving from the posted pictures, but in a good way. There are actually 3 king sized beds in each cabana, and a full kitchen. Only 1 bed is in a closed off area, though. The others are separated only by partitions. There is a nice area behind the hotel that has a trail and the creek runs along the back. Very peaceful in the morning! I'd definitely come back!

I recommend the cabins of the River as they are well equipped, the cabins are very nice, they are comfortable priced and also the attention is excellent. The Sojo family consider it an excellent choice for anyone who wants to stay in the fortune of San Carlos.

A super quiet, safe place with all the comforts of a home. Very clean and the place beautiful with a view of the beautiful volcano… We fell in love with this place.

Very, very new facility which unfortunately was built very cheaply. A bit away from the centre. The staff is very, very helpful and friendly!
The garden in the back area of the resort is very nice and there are some animals hiding there.

We enjoyed a great reception by the boss. It is an enthusiast of natural history and ecology, which tells with pleasure the nature and its inhabitants. He is currently building a garden in the park of his hotel, and wild animals of all sizes have already elected home.
The apartments are clean, quiet and very convenient. There's nothing missing to cook or have a good time. There is for each apartment a parking spot directly stuck to the apartment, which can reassure and especially avoid being wet in time of rain! I would definitely recommend!
