Leaving a rental car parked on coastal streets overnight isn't a great idea for safety reasons. A gated, secure lot gives you peace of mind, though smaller city hotels can run out of spaces during peak arrival hours. Always double-check the parking terms and reserve your spot before hitting the road.
The staff were lovely, and the atmosphere at the hostel is a great space to unwind. I quite enjoyed my time here, and met lots of people.
I had an amazing stay at The Dreamer Hostel in Santa Marta! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed.
Super comfortable stay. Very safe with a beautiful pool in the midst of a mango grove. Close to supermarkets and transport into Parque Tayrona and shuttle to Minca. Best part was the amazing staff.
Everyone said don't visit Santa Marta, but we did… and I must say it was incredible. Beautiful home, lovely pool, delicious breakfast and amazing service especially from Carlos.

Great location and good value for money.
Location is great.
There was no real window and it was a bit noisy. Only cold shower. Overall good value for money.
Nice hôtel with fair service and good rooft top.
Great location but thats also the problem you are in street close to restaurant and bar so its often noisy unfortunately.
Good place, it has everything necessary for accommodation. No that luxury or good, typical 2 stars. Great location close to the best places in Santa Marta.

To improve the menu at the time of the meal.
We stayed in a large Villa with 4 rooms. I can see it is older but has been maintenance very well. This hotel/resort has its own entry to Playa Bello Hortizonal.

A Very Cozy Place and Close to the Sea, It is worth returning!
The location is excellent, it is two minutes from the beach on foot. A very quiet place. Excellent hosts, they made us feel at home. I would definitely return.
Real gem for the price. The staff made a parking spot for us. One block from the beach. 2 blocks from a chic shopping center.
The location is 30-min walk to the city center, it’s a little bit far away from me. But the boss and her son and her daughter is super nice and helpful. Such a lovely family.
I liked it so much that I stayed here for a month and invited my niece! Very clean and comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Several pleasant shared spaces, good Wi-Fi and room for co-working.
My stay at Tia Chela hostel was brilliant. The hostel was very clean with good facilities including washing. Luis was very kind and helped me order taxi’s and negotiated a price with the drivers.

Stayed 4 nights with my toddler girl in a private room. Great place surrounded by nature, very friendly service, dogs, cats, monkeys, nice jungle river on 5 mins walk. I highly recommend!
Lovely place, perfect to rewind and chill in a beautiful location. After Palomina we really wanted to relax and this is the perfect place!
The most beautiful hostel, lovely pool and great vibe in the evenings. The people working here were so great and helpful with our trip into the park. Food was delicious and lovingly prepared.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Great spot for the kids and adults alike. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but with enough around to ensure you’ve got everything you need.
Beautiful property with a wide range of facilities. We enjoyed the pools, beach, and game rooms. It’s also impressive how well they’ve preserved the mangroves.

The Best Hostal in Santa Marta I stayed! Breakfast is included and a decent portion. The dorms have curtains🙏🏽 Pool is great for refreshing, Pool table, good to socialise, close to everything.
A beautiful place to stay. I visited for a birthday party so can't comment on the rooms, although the hosts of the event commented on how much they were enjoying their stay.
£4 a night! To stay at one of the nicest hostels I’ve been to in South America! The only thing is the location is a bit off but the hostel itself is amazing value for money.
