Staying at Villa Canopy was an absolutely stunning experience. The views of Santa Marta and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta are truly unmatched, providing a breathtaking backdrop to the entire property. The spaces are pristinely clean and designed with elegance, offering the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature.
Each evening was incredibly peaceful, filled with the gentle music of cicadas and sunsets that were simply mind-blowing. The mornings were equally magical, waking up to the sound of birdsong and a refreshing, cool breeze.
The amenities were top-notch. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare any meal, and the coffee and espresso machine—stocked with delicious coffee from the Sierras—was a highlight. The comfort level is exceptional, with extremely comfortable beds and perfect pillows that are just right. Having air conditioning in every room and reliable hot water made the stay seamless, and showering with a floor-to-ceiling window that looks out onto that spectacular view was a memorable treat.
To top it all off, the host was always prompt in responding, and a cleaning service was available whenever needed. This place is a true gem!

One of few properties in the world where the pictures of the view are underwhelming after you have stayed here.
Be advised, do your shopping before hand. The kitchen is well equipped, so don't try and have dinner in Minca. There are no good options. Do your shopping in Santa Marta, and spend the evening simply watching the sun go down while cooking up a feast.
The showers are the best ones we encountered in Colombia, and the outdoor bath tub is a treat.
This is the perfect house to unwind after a long trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Canopy Minca!
The master suite is spacious with comfortable beds and stunning valley views—the bathtub overlooking the valley was unforgettable.
Rosa was warm and welcoming, giving us great tips about the house and things to do nearby. Getting to town was easy, and we even enjoyed walking back and forth.
Highly recommended!
