Salento Hotels

We stayed at the Plaza Hotel for 3 days. It was a lovely little hotel in a very good location with really delicious, freshly made breakfast. The staff was really nice and made us feel at home.

The hotel is surrounded by nature and is within walking distance of the main road in Salento.

We had the most amazing stay in this hotel! Staff was very friendly, service was impeccable and the location was great. The breakfast was really good and fresh!

If your staying in Salento I HIGHLY recommend staying at Kawa. Their breakfast is one of the best I had during my Colombian vacation.

A pleasant 5min gravel/dirt road off the main street, very quiet and country style feeling next to a horse farm.

Well located in a quiet less congested part of the town but a short walk (less than 10 mins) to the Plaza with all the restaurants and shops. Very friendly and helpful staff.

If you want something that feels peaceful, authentic, and completely surrounded by nature, I can’t recommend Ecohotel Piedemonte enough.

What a special place, immersed in the nature, so peaceful and well kept. It's a bit out of town but worth it; you can reach it pretty easily and cheaply. The rooms are lovely and clean, the bed comfy.

We signed up for the regular tour package (1.5 hours).

We did the premium coffee 3 hour coffee tour. My husband loves coffee so this was mostly for him.

“Our stay at this Bed and Breakfast was simply delightful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for.

The panorama was unbelievable, specially for the fog that slowly uncovered the montain in front of us. Maurizio is fantastic and kind, the breakfast is totally home made and you can feel it.

Visited the restaurant in September. Excellent service. The dishes true to Colombian cuisine. A variety of trout dishes known locally for their quality.

They have 2 lovely dogs as well. Rocko is very playful. The mountainous surroundings are very peaceful.

We just came here from another hotel just to do the horse riding tour. It was very enjoyable, we had a great time.

Beautiful and affordable cottages in a lovely agricultural setting on the edge of town. Each cottage is private and has its own washroom.

Santiago did an amazing job as tour guide yes. Left no questions unanswered and always up for a joke yes.

We had an excellent stay here. Just outside of Salento it is a nice and relaxed place. 12 years ago the hosts family build this place in a joined effort.

We travelled Colombia for 6 weeks and this was by far our favourite accommodation. Diego and his staff were so attentive, welcoming and friendly.
The common area was comfortable.

Had an amazing stay at Tierra Maravilla. Andre and Jenny (and the other staff) are beautiful, amazing people that were very helpful.

We had the most unforgettable experience with Kasaguadua Reserve during our jungle tour today. From start to finish, it was truly a dream come true.

We did the Jungle Hike and it was a truly wonderful experience. It was very interesting to learn about the cloud forest ecosystem.

I highly recommend Elizabetha Hostal for anyone looking to stay in a quiet and very comfortable place in Salento.

Friendly, clean and comfortable. I loved the terrace. Book here if you want to support a family owned hostal! Elizabeth is super friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Beautiful unique place to stay surrounded by the green and lots of fresh air. Make sure to bring a sweater at night.

Nice hotel and a good experience overall. Clean rooms and nice and quiet. The breakfast was very limited and during a storm the power came in and out which is why I didn’t give it the 5 stars.

Great little hotel on the edge of town.

Loved it! We had really good rest; the beds were comfortable and large which is often hard to find in Colombia. The way is decorated and the style is a good taste and simple, open.

I stayed at El Zarzal in Salento for three nights and paid around $80 USD total, including breakfast. For that price, the value and service were excellent.

The view over the mountains from this place is incredible, you wake up to the sound of birds. Lili is very helpful and full of good recommendations.

Breakfast was good the best part of tho=is place is the location with AMAZING VIEWS!.
If you are travelling by car make sure you are cautious when entering the property.
