Cold showers — dead hostel — breakfast is free but you have to cook it yourself and it’s just a couple of eggs and cheap white bread. I left after 1 night and was refunded 1 night and I booked to stay for 4. Really really not ok. Even the common spaces were uncomfy — the hammocks are camping hammocks and just generally bad vibes. Also thought I could rent a motorbike from them but all they had was a tiny 50cc city scooter. So many other great places to stay don’t waste your time and money.

The hostel is esthetically really great — it has a great terrace with hammocks — I really loved the ample "do-it-yourself" breakfast, which consists of 2 eggs, bread, fruit, cereal and bottomless coffee with milk. Its also in a nice, lively location in Granada, the north of Cali, which was not only walking distance from the bus station (30 minutes) but it also felt safe to walk to and back from the city center, even at night. The reason why I'm docking a point is because I really couldn't sleep well here. Despite the beds being clean and comfortable, in which each bed came with 2 plugs (! ), unfortunately it was quite noisy as the shared dorms were right by the bathrooms and the walls are very thin. In fact, the entire infrastructure of the hostel doesn't really have any indoor walls (everything is in the open) so I think there were plenty of mosquitoes in the room and they wouldn't leave me alone at night. Despite putting on earplugs and a lot of bug spray, these mosquitoes still found a way to bite me, waking me up many times at night. Also the beds are quite shaky when the other person moves, you feel it. This being said, I think quality of sleep can greatly improve by at least adding mosquito nets and curtains (as its not very dark in the room either), and lastly, maybe adding a kind of citronella in the room on regular basis could help.

Overall a good hostel. Clean and good location.
Great breakfast.
I recommend asking to book a salsa class with Luis, he was a great teacher and really helped us!
Tip: hooks in shower for clothes would help. Also a reading light near dorm bed or a curtain for privacy.
