Hotel Qatar Cali

The service was terrible, when I arrived at the hotel they charged me a different price than the one they had initially informed me about, apart from that the person who helps with the suitcases did not help me carry them up as they were heavy suitcases sitting at the entrance looking at you, I told them that I They sold a bottle of water at night and the answer was that it couldn't be done because the refrigerators had a key, and they sent you out onto the street to shop in the downtown area, which is not safe at night. The girl at the reception was very unfriendly.

The breakfast isn't free if you ask for a refill, more eggs or even another plate they charge you extra. Also charge extra for laundry which they don't tell you.

Comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. At night you have to arrive by taxi because the sector is lonely. The terrace is no longer available, a shame because it looked very nice in photos. We were very happy, we would return without hesitation.

The standard room is small and the bathroom haven't extraction system.
But it have a good price and the service was good.

I stayed 2 nights here and I wasn’t sure based on it not having a lot of reviews as it seems quite new.
Pros:
— the staff are really friendly and nice. The lady at the front was super helpful and nice.
— the breakfast was above average for what I had been having in other hotels in this price range.
— the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
— I paid COP 102, 500 per night which was reasonable.
— they had underground secure parking.
— Wifi was good.
Cons:
— the location is downtown which makes it not so great to walk after the sun comes down as it didn’t feel super safe.
— the hot water in the shower did not work.
Not having hot water work is kind of a deal breaker for me so I wouldn’t recommend this place and will try another hotel on my next trip to Cali.
