Oasis Cali Hostel

Really good experience overall, mainly thanks to the people.
Emily at reception was amazing, super welcoming and great at connecting guests. Ane and Khalid were also very kind, thank you!
The hostel has a very social vibe, it’s easy to meet people. Shoutout to the owner, we had a crazy night at 1070 and in La Calle del Sabor and he kept bringing free shots, one of the greatest humans ;)
However, housekeeping was a real downside. Cleaning often felt intrusive, happening right next to guests without much consideration.
The weirdest moment was being knocked on while I was in the shower because someone wanted to clean, which was honestly uncomfortable.
I also tried to give this feedback to the manager, but the response was quite dismissive.
Great people and atmosphere overall, but this part clearly needs improvement.

I’m publishing this review with a bit of delay, but I had an absolutely amazing time at Oasis Hostel and can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The location is perfect—close to everything you'd want to explore in Cali, yet tucked away just enough to feel like a peaceful retreat.
The vibe is unbeatable. It's the kind of place where it's easy to meet fellow travelers, chill out, and really enjoy the atmosphere. The volunteers are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure everyone feels included and comfortable. They really help create that special community feeling.
One of the standout highlights for me was the free breakfast—it’s rich, fresh, and genuinely delicious. Not your average hostel breakfast at all! Plus, the entire place is very well maintained, clean, and clearly cared for with love and attention to detail.
If you're heading to Cali and want a social, cozy, and well-run place to stay, Oasis Hostel is the place to be. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I absolutely loved this hostel! I stayed in the women’s bedroom with 4 beds. Everything is clean, the staff very nice and welcoming and the breakfast included. I recommend to join the group and solo dance lessons. The dance teacher are amazing. It’s a smaller hostel but with a lot of activities.

Lived and breathed Salsa here at this incredible hostel. Daily private classes with Valentina Escobar were such a highlight, she had me learning so quickly! Would really recommend her to anyone staying in Cali, so much fun!

I absolutely adored my time in Oasis hostel. Best hostel in Cali. The dance classes are amazing! They have a free dance class every day and if you want more they have the most incredible teachers. I had private classes with both Valentina and Carlos who were both incredible. It’s thanks to Valentina that i’ve continue to dance. She’s an excellent teacher and helped me fall in love with salsa Caleña. I’ll be back!

I absolutely loved this hostel, such a nice atmosphere and a very friendly crowd. As a British person that’s never really danced, the lessons were perfect for me. My teacher was Valentina and I felt extremely comfortable and had so much fun. Valentina helped me dance but also to manage my frustration, which was equally as important. Stay at this hostel for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at oasis cali. The private room was super comfortable. The staff were lovely and we loved the location with delicious restaurants very nearby. The salsa class was great. Breakfast is a generous serving of granola and 2 eggs (that you need to prepare yourself). The bathrooms were always clean and there were many comfortable shared spaces.

Had such a lovely time at this hostel! Spacious rooms, good common areas and met so many nice people here! Also took dance classes with Valentina, would really recommend. Such a good teacher!

I had the best time at this hostel! The vibe was amazing, super chill, friendly, and full of good energy. I also took salsa classes with Valentina and honestly, she’s the best! She made learning so much fun and I improved way faster than I expected. If you’re thinking about staying here, do it! and definitely take the salsa classes too, you won’t regret it!

Thought I would explore Colombia but ended up staying almost two weeks here instead. Valentina is a really fun dance teacher — she'll take you from gringo to gringwoah in no time! :)

Great vibes in the hostel. I volunteered there and followed many dance classes with Valentina and Carlos. They are both amazing teachers and I had a lot of fun with them. Valentina is really good for the technique and Carlos helped me to learn all the steps to dance at the socials.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Home Away From Home – More Than Just a Hostel.
I stayed at Oasis Cali Hostel for about a month, and to say it was memorable would be an understatement. This place truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, kindness, and an energy that made it hard to leave.
A special shoutout to Nico, who’s doing an incredible job running this place. Not once did I feel like I was just another guest. The relationships built here are genuine, not transactional, and the overall vibe is one of deep care and connection.
The community is amazing—Amelia, Coby, Caroline, and others made the experience that much more enriching. I came to learn salsa and Spanish, and this was the perfect spot. Spanish classes are conveniently located right across the street, and in-house salsa lessons are offered regularly with a rotation of excellent instructors.
I had the joy of learning from Carlos, who is not only a masterful dancer but also hilarious—his classes were both educational and a ton of fun.
If you're planning to visit Cali, this is the place to stay. I already know that when I return, there’s no other place I’d even consider. Gracias, Oasis!

Small place that invites meeting people and socialising. Daily classes of dancing which were fun and a nice way to meet people. Private room and bathrooms were great. Nice location close to A LOT of restaurants. The area felt very safe. Lots of volunteers who were friendly too. Overall we had a nice time in Cali.

We stayed at Oasis Cali hostel for 4 nights. We had a private room with a small private courtyard as well. We had free group dance lessons everyday at 6pm, really loved the lessons that Carlos did. We would have done private lessons with him if we were staying longer. Really good energy and so nice, great teacher as well. Also love that there is a dog in the hostel, this was amazing. Really nice owners, easy to get along with. Social and organised activities while you are there. Good kitchen with basics and storage space for guests which is always appreciated. They also had a blender! Loved that! Just wish there were a few more spices available for guests. Breakfast was not vegan friendly, although we also didn't ask. Just eggs, bread and juice, and coffee.
Good location and good area to stay in, lots of good places to eat around for good price.
Nice outdoor spaces to chill and also small little exercise area on the roof, again love having access to this kind of stuff when on long term travel.
Would reccomend for sure. I give it a 4.5/ but can't give half star on here :)

Super friendly, great free breakfast, lovely social vibe, free salsa classes and instructors are fabulous.
