Heavenly location, stunning property and wonderful friendly, helpful and interesting staff — thank you Mr J for looking after me so beautifully and Herman for taking me on a waterfall hike.
We just spent the weekend at this villa — it was the perfect place for a family get together. The Hosts were awesome.
They even made a little fireplace outside just for my wife and her sisters to make Sancocho (even brought them some wood and a huge pot to cook it in).
At night the view of the city is amazing, and the location is in the mountains so you hear nothing at night and only the sounds of birds during the day.
Highly recommend this place to anyone.

I was so excited to stay at this property for my family’s first trip to Colombia since they moved to the US. My mom, who was supposed to join, had to have an emergency surgery so our trip had to get cancelled.
Upon contacting all properties, every property cancelled our trip without any issue. The Villa The View said they would not charge me either and not to worry. Weeks later, I realized they still never cancelled the reservation. When I reached out again, they said the cancellation policy wouldn’t allow for it to cancel.
I reached out to Booking. Com and they said they don’t have access to do anything. When I reached out to the property, they sent me a ton of messages just going in circles instead of answering 1) when the reservation will be cancelled or 2) giving me a name of someone who was helping me. They told me that they would contact booking. Com directly to say they will not charge me, but they rejected the fee waiver form from booking. Com.
This has been such a headache and it’s such a bummer because I was really hoping to stay there when it was safe for my mom to travel again after recovering. If there is any chance that you will need to make a last minute change, I would avoid booking this property as it has been impossible for me to have the booking cancelled. It’s so sad. I work in hospitality and the company I work for always does the right thing. I really hope this property ends up doing the right thing too.
