This is by far the best hostel in Cali with perfect location if you like dancing! Helena is treating her guests like family and I felt so at home during my stay. Safe neighbourhood, quiet (except weekends) and cleanest property by far!

Helena Hostel is the best you can find in Cali, it's new, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the Loma De La Cruz park and to the salsa Club Topa Tolondra. All the neighborhood has great local vibes many cultural events, music and dancing. The owner of the hostel, Helena, is very kind, welcoming and always there to help, she makes you feel at home! She is also a great cook, don't esitate to ask to try her breakfast or lunch! I recommend this place 100%

This is more like a home than a hostel. Helena really is a natural host and is a super woman multi-tasking!. She's always smiling and greeting you with so much positive energy everytime you walk in. She does her best to give yoh all you need and everything is always super spotless. Not once did I ever see the bins full because they are emptied all the time. Maye lacks a bit more vibe and a more cosy shared area to sit but I'm sure with Helena's brilliance this place will get better and better! She took very good care of me! Should be noted the showers are all cold. I got used to it as it was humid when I was in Cali so it was refreshing but may be hard for some to do this every day. Besides that I highly recommend. And great value too! oh and forgot to mention the location is literally in the best spot of San Fernando and is on a safe street just be careful walking alone at night time.
