Worst experience ever. Although this “hotel” located in one of the best areas in Cali, Colombia, our experience was horrible. Prior making a reservation, we called this “hotel” and asked about it including if it has hot water. The front desk clerk told us about the hotel and confirmed it has AC and hot water. We went to the hotel around midnight, we registered, and made the payment. We exhausted and were carrying luggage and had to climb the stairs to the lobby then 2 or 3 more floors to the room. The first thing we wanted to do was to take a shower but there was no soap. We called the front desk and the guy brought us the soap. We then noticed there were no towels, so we had to call again the front desk. After the clerk brought us the towels, we found out there was no hot water, so we called the front desk AGAIN. It’s unbelievable anyone would have to call a hotel front desk several times for basic things like soap and towels that should have been ready upon arrival especially at mid night. Anyways, after the clerk informed us the hot water heater was apparently repaired that morning. We then started to notice how filthy the room was, hairs on the sheets, etc… not like the pictures. That’s when we decided to leave. We called the front desk and let the clerk know we’re leaving. We had to carry again our luggage down the stairs to the lobby as there is no elevator. The clerk had to called the manager or the hotel’s owner to ask if we can get reimbursed.
