Cali Marriott Hotel

Outstanding service, beautiful rooms, great gym, amazing restaurant-. We loved it! Roger at the front desk was extremely helpful, Juan the main chef is an artist, Karen at the executive floor is a dear, Katherine in sales helped us a lot for an event!

All rooms has In Room dining Menu now inside the Menu the cost of Local Mineral Water is COP6000
So I ordered two bottles and when I received the delivery in the room — their Invoice it’s COP20000 + Delivery charges COP2521/ — + 10% Tip 1681 = COP 24202/ —
So their Menu price and the Invoice is completely different, this is not acceptable.
It’s not been mentioned inside the In room dining Menu that they will charge extra to deliver the food in your room! This is something unbelievable!
In the Room Shoe Polish is not available! Tooth paste and Comb and other small bathroom amenities are not available!

I went here with the family and it was the worse experience possible I had. First I stayed at the hotel and when I went down for breakfast they couldn’t let me go eat breakfast. Because they didn’t have enough of a tables to eat on. Worse place I ever been to.
So now I am waiting in line and they told me to wait and they got the first two people but not me? I am just one.

Cali is one of Colombia’s “forgotten cities” that gets some attention for its medical tourism offer, its salsa dancing… but has also had setbacks in the past few of decades.
And so, it has been a tough process to get the hospitality scene to a high standard. But it’s happening. Cali’s top 20 restaurants could easily out-do top spots in the US and in European countries… and at a fraction of the cost.
The Cali Marriott is a top choice for me. There are other chain properties in the area, but they are not quite at the same level. There are also many boutique hotels to choose from and a couple are special, but you are not always guaranteed a quiet night, for sound sleep.
The Cali Marriott has attractive common areas in the lobby, especially The Market, which offers a very good breakfast, with lot’s of local fare, including typical yucca-based breads (almohabanas, pandebonos, buñuelos), corn arepas, delicious fruit (granadilla, pitaya, papaya), and SO much more. On the 3rd floor there is a spa area with a surprisingly good gym (that actually has windows and natural light… and a Nikken water dispenser, etc). On the eighth floor there is an ample business lounge with attractive outdoor areas.
When choosing room category, know that the standard rooms have a relatively small bathroom with a “tub-shower” that has a curtain. This is not common in modern Marriott (4 or 5-star) properties; it is more typical of Courtyard or Four Points… so this was not at the expected standard.

Always impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Great location, great staff and amazing massages. Totally recommended this hotel for your vacation or business trip!

People working at the front desk was great. Fast check-in and fast check out. I ate a couple of times at the hotel. Avoid eating at the hotel. The food was not good. The drinks at the hotel bar were pretty good. People working at the hotel were very friendly. The hotel pool was very cold. The whole pool area was blocked from the sun. The executive lounge was very bad. There's not much in there. Few soda and water. Few nuts. And coffee machine. No evening snack or food was offered. The location was good. You could walk to most of the area.

This Marriott is pretty much what you’d expect for the brand.
It was quite pricey though compared to the other 5 star hotels in Cali. Double in most cases which was quite unusual. (Hundreds per day)
Most guests including us used points, which were very low.
If possible try to get a junior suite or higher and access to the great executive lounge and its wonderful staff. The food was different every day and quite varied. Valeria deserves special mention as she really stood out going well beyond the call of duty. Most of the staff were great everywhere.
The negatives:
— The sauna was not really working well during the whole 25 days that we were there. It just didn’t get hot enough to make anyone sweat.
— the swimming pool is very small. Maybe 8 — 9 meters. Almost impossible to swim laps.
— The pool is also quite cold as it’s not heated. That would have been nice.
Management did give us a 30 minute complementary massage to make up for the sauna,
Which was a nice gesture.

Wonderful experience with friendly staff and great service. The restaurant serves a delightful breakfast, and we never had a bad meal. All the food was delicious! Extremely safe and great value.

The hotel is probably the best in Cali. Everyone was friendly from check in to check out. The room was a huge suite the size of an apartment with two bathrooms and a large living room. The restaurant serves nice cocktails; however, service is spotty. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cali.

The service at the Marriott Cali is so warm and caring. The people make it much more like the feeling from a Luxury hotel. And, the food was delicious. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. I didn’t try anything I didn’t like. By far the best location for a hotel in Cali, Colombia!

Overall good hotel in some aspects, when we came the pool was out of service though. The biggest concern was that there was absolutely no healthy vegetarian/vegan food. Not even in the lounge. I have been to Marriott hotels all over the world and it has NEVER been bad, but here it’s horrible, they put absolutely no thought into it.

Have stayed in this beautiful property multiple times over the last year and most recently this month. There are limited 'American' branded lodging opportunities in Cali and this is probably one of the two best. Each stay has felt like being welcomed back home and the staff is top notch. Frankly, the experience is generally far better than what you'd realize in the chain's domestic locations. Each day, there is a beautiful restaurant breakfast buffet featuring many local specialties. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in a stylish section of the city and security (private and/or local police) is always in evidence at the hotel's front door.

As Marriott Lifetime Titanium, we stay at many hotels, and Cali Marriott provides the best experience, food & beverage and personal service from their friendly and responsive staff. Extra clean, quiet, safe and secure, with a good location near Centenario Mall. We enjoy the expansive buffet breakfast and invite friends and family for the Sunday Brunch at The Market. The Executive Lounge, food and drinks each night, always super service. Housekeeping does a great job servicing our room. We use the on-site transportation almost every day, with modern air conditioned comfortable vehicles. Our last stay was a month and did not want to leave. Looking forward to returning…

Wonderful place to be in Cali, in front of Cerro de las Tres Cruces, Beauty flowers and The best restaurant in Cali to take lunch, plenty of waiters and people with The best Colombian dishes, and internacional menú.

Excellent service and chefs, who know how to flatter hotel guests with their exquisite and delicious dishes.

A wonderful experience, the friendliness of the staff gives warmth, the food is delicious the space is beautiful.
