We stayed at Sharon Inn during our visit to Taichung, and it was a decent option for a short stay. The room we were assigned, unfortunately, did not have a window, which made it feel a bit confined. Additionally, we noticed that a faint smell of smoke seemed to seep into the room, which was a downside for us.
On the bright side, the staff was very accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed. They provided all the necessary freebies, which added a touch of convenience to our stay.
While the amenities and service were satisfactory, this place is better suited for those seeking a quick stopover rather than an extended stay.

Pretty good location 10 min walk away from the train station, but man this is a tired hotel that did NOT feel like a good value at $70. The walls had some holes and marks. The TV had to be unplugged to be turned off, and other than the very nice young man at the front desk, there is nothing redeeming about this place.
