Taichung Hotels

There's no way I'm ever staying elsewhere in Taichung ever again. Nothing else you could possibly want from a hotel.

BEST HOTEL IN TAICHUNG.
Compared to Tempest hotel, (which we booked for 5 nights and decided to book this after seeing the horrors of the room…) this is such a nice hotel!

Date visited: end of November.
The location was center to a lot of the places we wanted to go to (chun shui tang, Michelin rated beef noodle spot, miyahara, several bakeries and cafes, mall, etc.

This hotel perfectly balanced retro style with modern comfort.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially thanks to the free room upgrade. The front desk staff spoke good English and were very friendly, which made check-in easy and pleasant.

Important to note: Parking lot for this hotel is at 全國電子 (the electronics shop). I called to ask the concierge and they told me that there is NO partner parking lot with Carrefour across the street.

Convenient location (close to night market/convenient stores and transit available close by to department stores), clean room/bedding and shower with taxi service available downstairs at the lobby.

This is definitely one of the best non 5 star hotel I have stayed. It doesn’t have a gymnasium or swimming pool but the service is top notch.

This was perhaps the best non 5 star hotel I’ve stayed in Taiwan.
I had the tatami room with a great view from the top floor.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable, very clean and well-maintained. The bed was also very comfortable, and there was even a sofa area in the room.

My stay at Hotel Howard has been absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality.

One of the best value for money hotels I have ever stayed at. It was not expensive but everything was very good quality. The communication before I arrived was excellent, check-in was good.

PROS.
1) Hotel is located close to the Taichung Train station as well as malls and eateries.

A very nice hotel — previously stayed here in March 2024 and opted to come back.
Rooms are not huge but they are tastefully decorated, clean & comfortable.

Nice and vibey hotel. Reception always available, close to Taichung train station. Love the heated toilets and comfortable bed!

We had good experience in the hotel. Everything was perfect for the price you paid.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, room was clean and there is free complementary (lounge) on the 2nd floor.

Economical solution for solo travellers, very good value for money. The smaller doubles are very small and only suited for couples who already know each other very well.

Very nice of the convince city hotel that near the centaur train stations good place and recommend to each tourist when came to Taichung city the good hotel.

Kids friendly:
I stayed here with my 5y. O little boy, he enjoyed a lot! He went to 2/F indoor playground for 2 days. There was spacious outdoor playground as well.

Stayed for one night, and my kids loved it. Rooms were clean and cozy with everything you need. Spaciou outdoor activity area with plenty of things to play with.

I had a wonderful stay and genuinely loved this hotel. From the moment I checked in, the staff made me feel extremely welcome — warm, attentive, and professional throughout the entire stay.

Amazing hotel! Only stayed for a night and really wished we stayed for longer! Hotel was in a very convenient location near a popular shopping centre.

Stayed here for 4 nights and the hotel exceeded my expectations!

Very well situated in Taichung, its near to the attraction and very convenient for us to take public transport. I think this is the best choice I made after comparing few options.

Walkable distance — about 10 min to Fengjia night market. Quiet rooms if you keep the windows closed and 7-11 is opposite!

Had a great 3 nights stay at Injoy Hotel.
Rooms were very nice and spacious. Shower was great. Room overlooked the road but was still very quiet.

Impressed with this boutique hotel. Spotless, love wood flooring without carpets, open wardrobe, luggage rack, free snacks and bottled water.

What a wonderful find! We did a quick overnight stop here and will definitely be returning. The staff were very accommodating of our daughter, offering extra bedding and very quick service.

I had such a lovely stay at OKU Hotel. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere feels calm and grounding, like the hotel was designed to help you slow down.

The Windsor Hotel Taichung delivers a satisfying experience thanks to its exceptional service team.

Room was great. Very large, and shower had very good water pressure, AC was cold. Bed is huge and very comfortable. Pool and gym are very nice.

Room was spacious and clean. Air conditioner was great, blowing air directly downwards at the corridor (perfect for drying clothes overnight). Staff were friendly and helpful.

Totally enjoyed our stay here. The interior of the entire hotel is very well designed and is super delightful; it brightens our day whenever we step back into the hotel.

Very good hotel.
Location is good for shopping: Yizhou night market is opposite the road. Many trendy shops and a huge department store just down the road. Very centralised to places of interest.

Pros Bodybuilders dream full access to World Gym which is on sight and plenty of serious weight training equipment, trainers and group fitness, breakfast buffet (although random selections) included,

Its pretty good for a budget hotel. Very wheelchair and disability friendly, with ramps and wide bathrooms that can fit wheelchair.

Ms Candice and her staffs is really helpful and nice. Highly recommended.

The room is big &clean.
