Just checked out after a 3 week stay. The room had a funky smell from day of arrival and was very damp. The breakfast was pretty bad and I survived by bringing my own fruit, yogurt, and tea everyday. No food selection for western tastes. The location was tolerable since Youbike kiosks were close by. Otherwise, it is quite a walk to any restaurants. Upon checkout, the hotel charged me 200 NT for losing a plastic key. I've never encountered this before. I now regret leaving a red envelope in the room for housekeeping. With the exception of one or two staff people, the place generally sucks and I will never come back.
