Came here for countdown. Had a pleasant stay during this trip. Room was alright. But we actually downgrade our room. Cos the layout make more sense. The bigger room is by square m2. Service is excellent they are really helpful. Location nothing much to complain as is really near to Yizhong. I give 4 star cos of washing machine. Is not really working properly and we actually wash on the last day in this hotel. Dryer not working. So we actually need to walk to other washing station to dry our clothe in the mid night when it's 11°c with our sleeping clothes. Please upgrade ur washing station or just take it away in future. Thanks.
Price is affordable for solo travel or business trip, room is good enough and near by public transportation! I would recommend!

The room is as described and shown on the pictures. I gave a 4 for rooms due to the cleanliness. First night, I found hairs on the bed & a hole on the bath towel. I reported to the staff via LINE (in Taiwan they use mainly LINE to communicate). They quickly took action and offered to change the bedsheets and clean the room. As I stayed for a week, they scheduled a housekeeping on day 4 of my stay. The soundproofing is not the best but if needed earplugs are provided in the room.
It was the winter in Taiwan when I was there so having a hot shower is important and the hot water is available. I like that there is water dispenser at each room level, rubbish and recycling bins are located outside near the water dispenser area so it is convenient.
The location of the inn is about 15 minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. If you are carrying large luggage, advise to take a Uber. It is near yizhong street where you can find many shops, food, etc. From the inn, cut through the open space carpark, vou will be at the shopping area.
As a female solo traveller. At the start I was a bit concerned of the location of the inn. The entrance to the inn is in a alley, next to a bistro bar. You need the access card to enter the inn so that is fine, iust make sure it is lock after you enter. The front desk only operates from 11 am — 10:30 pm. There is an emergency hotline number to call for afterhour service. Using LINE to communicate with them is easy.
