Location was really good. You can find several bus stops near the hotel. 2nd market is reachable by walk. Clean facilities. Staffs were amazing! They were so helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Taichung.

Great front desk and great room. There is a free laundry room as well. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Train station and within walking distance to many attractions around. For other breakfast options, you can walk 5 minutes to nearby eateries (sandwiches, egg rolls), or 15 minutes to the traditional markets.
Note that Google Maps will lead you the wrong way. You can simply enter by the main road (it is right opposite Miyahara).

The hotel is located very near to Taichung Station which made the walk over a breeze. Room was comfy but for some reason, the room temp controls didn't change the temp at all so it wasn't very cold. There was only 1 operating laundry machine and 1 operating dryer when I visited (there is actually 2 of each) so it was quite a challenge to wash my clothes as I was on a long trip. The nice thing was the usage of the machines was free but I suggest they upgrade the machines as you can tell they are very old at this point. Staff was friendly overall and was kind enough to help us throw our trash away as we didn't want to leave food containers in our room overnight.
Would recommend having a proper disposal area for guests who wish to dispose bulkier waste or food waste in the lobby. I would suggest the hotel provide additional hangers. Would be nicer to be able to hang more clothes up or maybe even a hanging rack of sorts. Hanging wet clothes with the provided wall hooks is asking for mold to grow and doesn't allow for proper drying. Also, would be good to have proper instruction on the use of the washing machines for overseas guest. Luckily I can read Chinese but I can imagine foreign guests might have trouble understanding how to operate the machines.

Prime location as near to Taichung Station (Train, not high speed rail), opposite Miyahara. We took bus from Taoyuan Airport, then we walked for 3 mins to the hotel.
It's convenient as the convenient store, Family Mart is next to it. It has 2 lifts in service.
Everything is provided in the spacious room as shown in the pictures. Just curious that why no individual bedside lamp for each bed. I have to move to the sofa which has an individual lamp on top when my another is resting. Water dispenser is available at lobby. Hotel will provides 2 drinking water daily. Shower water is strong enough. Only 4 cloth hangers provided, bring more if it's insufficient for you.

Would give this hotel a rating of around 3.5.
Great location with decent facilities. Room was clean and sufficiently spacious with good Wi-Fi. They also provided free laundry service machines. However, you need to buy the washing powder yourself (though not expensive) which I thought could have been given for free like other hotels I stayed in Taiwan.
Also, while they provided breakfast, you have to pay extra for it which I didn't.

Conveniently located near the train station and also within 15 minutes walk of most of the bus operators to various attractions around Taichung. The price is reasonable. The room and toilet & shower room are clean and nicely spaced. The room is equipped with a mini safe, mini fridge, hair dryer, TV, vanity mirror and kettle. The hotel provided bottled drinking water, coffee sachets and tea bags too. There is no cupboard in the room I stayed in, but they provided hangers and hooks for us to hang the clothes. Wi-Fi is provided in the room. Connect to the room specific Wi-Fi network and the password is printed on the sticker on the table.

I highly recommend this hotel if staying at Taichung! Great location near Taichung station just 5-minute walk away at a really affordable price. Staff were very friendly as well. Plenty of good food options around the area as well!
They also have a laundry area for washing and drying of clothes. This was so crucial for us to do our laundry mid trip and it was free! You can choose to buy the detergent from the counter at a cost. The staff was nice enough to help us load into the washers as there was a queue of laundry baskets for the washers!

Hotel is very grand and clean. Super high class vibes.
Service is very good, they will greet you everytime you walk by.
Room is very clean and tidy. Never spot any stains. No issue with anything. I love the bathtub there. Spacious.
Location very close to popular ice cream shop and close to train station.
Plus point, near alot of attraction, walkable distance. Have gym in hotel too, just dumbell, treadmill and cycle machine. But is very good enough for me to maintain in shape.

This hotel was conveniently located near Taichung main station and lots of bus stop, making travelling rather accessible.
The quality of room and service were good. Our only complaint would be the temperature settings of the air con. Even at the lowest settings, it was not as cold as other hotels. The staff did assist us by providing an additional standing fan immediately.

PROS: The room and bathroom were spacious and clean with aircon. The bed is big and comfortable, it could use more than just 2 pillows though.
Location is good, its close to a train station which is about a 10 minute walk and some shops nearby.
CONS:
Towels were old.
There was a loud noise one of the nights, not sure what it was exactly, it was definitely tough to fall asleep that night.
Check-in is at 3 pm. For a check-in that late, the least they could do is have the room ready. Mine wasn't, so I had to wait.
The main issue I have with this hotel is the deposit they took and still haven't returned. They take a security deposit of 4162TWD, and I paid using a card. If you choose to stay here, I advise you to use cash to pay for this deposit. It's been 47 days, and I still haven't got my money back. When I called them to check, they said they've returned it, but my bank statements say otherwise. If you're going to have a system that's efficient in taking money, then have the same efficiency in returning that money.

Hotel is very clean. The staff are very courteous and helpful. It is located a short walk (less than 8mins) from the main train station and just a street across from Miyahara. Although location is at the main train station but this is not the happening place. Big malls and night markets are located about 30mins bus ride from the hotel but there're many buses plying this route.
My room is elongated, not much width on both sides of the bed but could still get onto the bed from both sides. Bed is comfortable. Room is serviced everyday. I like it that hotel provided towels of different colour for each guest so that we did not mix it up. Toiletries, slippers and amenities and 2 bottled water are provided each day. Free laundry but with purchased detergent from the reception is available and could be busy. But laundry room is at the basement accessible by stairs only. So not for the mobility impaired. Wi-Fi is strong. Luggage storage available pre & post stay.
I did not have breakfast in the hotel. There's a Family Mart next door which is very convenient.

Stayed there from April 7 to 11. Very happy with the room and the location was perfect too! Although they have laundry service, you will need to provide your own laundry detergent or purchased it from the lobby. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers available.

We stayed at this hotel in the last 2 days of March. And I would recommend to anyone who seeks for easy access (a few minutes walk) to the Taichung Station, bus stops, convenient stores, premium restaurants as well as local eateries. The friendly staff always want to assist you even their English is limited. They have a laundry room that you can do on your own. The room is spacious enough for 2 people. Good and affordable place to stay!

Rooms are not too big but still comfortable enough even with two people. Prices are cheap and rooms come with great amenities, like a water kettle and bottled water. It was a bit inconvenient that the bathroom doesn't have its own separate room. We got the breakfast coupons to eat at the hotel but the breakfast options were pretty mediocre, but it makes sense since you get what you paid for. Their tap water in the bathroom also has a weird taste of dirt when you wash your face and brush your teeth, so that part was not that great.
The location of the hotel is also very close to the station so it is easy to walk over. We found it very quickly after leaving the station. There are also many stores and restaurants nearby to shop at by walking and some easy to get there by bus. The staff is also pretty friendly. A good hotel if you want a cheap stay near the station.
