Hoho Hostel Hostel

Convenient enough location, fairly cheap price for Hong Kong. Nothing exceptional, everything was in working order. Room mates are of mixed background (not necessarily racial, but mixed cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds). The difference in habits is more significant here than most other hostels stayed at.

Very basic accommodation. Small rooms for the amount of people but if you looking for a bed and a shower this is idea. If you looking for normal backpacking hostel vibes I don’t suggest this place. But the staff is very friendly and the booking process was very easy!

Good location, nice staff, impeccably clean, good value. However, pretty hard and squeaky beds, tiny dorms (3 tier bunk beds, this being Hong Kong) and common room not very cozy.

The price is reasonable, the traffic is also convenient. However, hot water for bath can only be served for a short time, so it’s better to take shower as fast as possible. The most upper bed can have the largest space, the bottom bed is dark and narrow.

I love th inside tips of local travelling, esp as a vegan. Do have a look of those little notes of exploration tips and budget ideas, a homy hostel in HK.

Absolutely lovely staff, good beds, great showers. Guests were great to talk to and share stories and so close to the station. Will definitely stay there again on future visits.

Hoho Hostel is certainly conducive to engaging exploration and appreciation of Hong Kong:) Maggie and Spencer are some of the sweetest hosts ever met, with the latter even offering to order afternoon tea for guests. I was impressed by the hostel's cleanliness, the friendliness of my fellow roommates and travelers here, and the prime location. Overall, 5/5! Would definitely stay here again:)

Extremely crammed rooms, with 3 layers bunk beds, the third layer consisting of a thin mattress directly on the floor. Even by Hong Kong standards, it is too compressed. Curtains insufficient to insure privacy. Aircon is set to freezer temperature, as if it would compensate for the lack of proper ventilation. No towels provided. Common room is the reception area, with 3 kindergarten chairs and a thin mattress thrown on the floor. No place to work on a laptop, except for a tiny table in the hallway, where there is no power outlet. They charge to keep your luggage half day. The personnel do their best in those conditions.

Yes this place is tiny, but I found the people working there helpful and friendly, they gave me thorough instructions on how to get there from the air. It was also pretty full when I stayed, so no problem meeting others. The only downside to the place is the lack of a common area where you can sit comfortably. Although you'll probably find you're put most of the time. Great location too.

While I'm a bit to old for the dormitory-experience, it was nice, clean, friendly and professional. Feel like I got more than I paid for.

An economical place for the values of hong kong, small, central, very clean, strict with its rules, which allow the good coexistence of guests. They speak good English, are very willing to give you information about what to do, how to get there, how to save, etc. And the Wi-Fi works very well. Thanks for everything.

This is my second times to sleep in this lovely hostel. This place is so nice that's why I choose here again! Yau Yau (the receptionist) is so friendly and kindly to help everyone and keep this place so clean. It's very easy to make lots of friends all over the world in this hostel. Travellers in different country gather here make this place so interesting~ Look forward to have my next HK trip in Hoho Hostel!

Best hostel in Hong Kong! Stayed here for a month and made so many amazing friends. Very clean and very easy to meet new friends here. The receptionist Yau Yau is super friendly and helped me when I got sick in Hong Kong. Will forever remember my first home in Hong Kong!

This is my second time in HK. Because I had bad experience the first time staying in another hostel, I was going to book a hotel since I'm only staying for one night. However, after I called Spence I decided to try this hostel. He was super nice on the phone and added me on wechat. I was having trouble making reservation online, but he was really patient and decided to trust me to show up on timeThe room is so clean and neat. Everything spaces out perfectly. The housing price in HK is expensive and they definitely offered great service while you can still stay on your budget. It is one of the best hostel I have stayed in. The hosts are super nice and that definitely made it worthy!

Hoho hostel is located right in the central shopping area with easy access to anywhere in HK. Unlike most hostels in HK, Hoho offers ample space for each guest even in the dorm rooms and a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. The hostel is always kept spotlessly clean. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful.

Hoho Hostel feels just like home — it provides all the comfort you need to rest and rejuvenate after a long day of exploring :) Its accessible location and super clean rooms/toilets are an added bonus too. Maggie and Spencer are some of the friendliest people I've met and I enjoy chatting with Maggie before leaving the hostel every morning! Highly recommended and I would totally come back again — 超赞! :)

When I arrived, I immediately felt like I was at home. Maggie was so welcoming and waited for me to arrive.
The hostel is really in a nice location: Metro, Food courts, shopping streets and more. Plus the rooms are very spacious (a rarity in hong kong) and the toilets super clean.
Definitely gonna stay here again next time.
